Sony Rewards

Outdated. Says you can sign up for free trials to get points, but those free trials dont even exist. Garbage. A year later I'm coming back and adding that this is still not fixed they've added more rewards that are impossible to complete, and you can pretty much guarantee that no matter what you do or complete on this app you will not be receiving any points from Sony. Trash.

The app is ok(I guess). It just feels like they barely tried, and they kept removing all the ways you could earn points. The only real way left is for making purchases, which would be fine if you earned them at at least 2x the rate(3x would be nice).

It is good, but there are hardly any ways to earn points that isn't expensive. By the time you earn enough points to get what you want, you already spend 2 to 3 times the amount of the product in a brick store front. If they offered daily or twice weekly free point earnings, then the service would be much better. Also on the giveaways, it should be a ramd drawing, not a point bidding war because that guarantees the richest person wins instead of everyone having an equal chance.

I just prefer to register my movies through the use of a computer vs an app. Moving back and forth to get a free movie is kind of annoying.

pretty neat point system. Can provide cool rewards, but requires many points to do anything worthwhile. You can get brand new ps5 games, speakers and electronics, movies, merch, etc. Even if it does take centuries to get afford any of them, it's worth keeping the app installed to slowly grind points in order to get some sweet prizes. Would definitely reccomend.

It barely works. The site us heavily outdated and the support is mediocre at best. Can't even get a 10 dollar gift card without a random error occurring every time.

Had some trouble getting it linked to my PS account, but it appears to be working now. The points system also was a little finicky as a result - hopefully that's also going to be smoother now.

Once you go into settings you have to close the app to get back to the home page. Otherwise pretty easy to navigate

I love that your points pay for shipping rather than you pay shipping and its a great app dont get me wrong but the point system is a little pricey. It makes it feel like grinding is insurmountable and impossible, the passes are not worth it as well. The over all problem is the points dont give you enough and Nintendo made their system much simpler and easier to grind, so the question is weither Sony will as well.

The simple layout to know how much rewards & what I can get for the earned rewards makes this app a no brainer for a gamer like me. Easy to choose, & easy to receive the rewards especially when it's a digital product. I do occasionally order a physical game with my reward points. May do that again soon.

Reward points earned for spending money on Sony purchases (products, movies, etc.) And more! The only problem Ive had so far is the slow speed at which points clear... I've had a movie ticket upload for 400 points pending since December & it's now march (about 3 months so far). I love Sony but Microsoft rewards is far superior in this arena! But, I can't complain too much. it is a cool way to get a little extra!

Does not work. Completing actions for passes does not register any of the points that it says it will. Just shows as if nothing has been done even though the actions have been completed for nearly a week.

I installed the app and it just sits on that Sony x symbol. I Uninstaller it and tried again same thing so just got rid of it. I hope they fix the issue cause I wanted to use it.

I registet new discs and do not get anything for them I guess there must be a limit on how many movie buff passes I can earn and no where does the app state that.

I used to love this app until you guys made it so this year (2022) you no longer earn points with linking your PSN account for points for all of your purchases on the PlayStation Store and now it's only if you have a Sony or PlayStation credit card. I have tried to get approved but apparently I don't have a perfect enough credit score for you. Oh well your loss but you all need to undo this mess with taking those perks away. I was almost going to buy a PS5 but instead Xbox rewards you big time!

Been saving my points for a PS5, they never put good stuff in rewards store!!! Not what I would consider a customer loyalty program feels more like punishment!

I completed the Movie Buff pass (a challenge that gives you a free film when you purchase 5 digital movies, or provide 5 digital copy codes) but the app won't give me my reward. It gives me the option to COPY REDEEM CODE, but when I press COPY CODE, nothing happens. You used to be able to do this through a web browser, but now the Sony Rewards website forces you to use the broken app. I contacted Sony Rewards, and they basically told me, "oh well, too bad."

I love Sony rewards u get a free movie for every 5 u buy although I do wish they had better movie choices to pick from for ur free movie if they did then it would definitely be 5 stars 🌟

I find it hard to believe that this is official. I have researched a little and found that some people think that it is. The thing is though, an official sony app wouldn't have wendy's coupons. Also when I did the uncharted quiz, I got all of them right and it didn't add my points on. This feels like they are just trying to get my credentials which is obviously very annoying.

Good app, it's matured over time. I think it's snappier than before and easier to navigate. The rewards program has changed a bit, but remains pretty straightforward, spend money on Sony products, use your Playstation CC, earn points

It's cool you guys give anything at all for movies, but you don't give hardly any points for them. In order to earn anything at all from your collected points it takes a insane amount of title redemptions !! I bet I've claimed close to 20+ movies and I'm still not even close to redeeming my points for anything ! That's crazy !! I bet I've earned 5 or 6 free movies from Disney for the same amount of redemptions ! Just sayin' ... you should consider making things more obtainable.

App is not helpful and although staff is friendly they are not helpful. Constant errors prevent you from redeeming points. When calling to clear the error, the staff is very friendly but can not help to clear it in any way. Have been waiting a week to redeem my points for my son's birthday present and sony rewards can not clear the error or tell me why I'm getting it. I was told I could purchase the game and submit my receipt for extra sony reward points. Not helpful at all!

Sometimes works? Super annoying that I have to refresh the app or page I'm on in the app for anything to register. But most times I have to just get on an actual PC to get anything done. Probably going to just delete from my phone.

I've been trying to redeem my points for weeks now and haven't been able to check out. The app says don't use a VPN so I don't have a VPN to access the Rewards. It tells you to then call a specific number for assistance if the issue isn't resolved. Everytime I call though the office is closed. 😡

Only give it a 1 Starz. I linked my Playstation 5 Account up with Sony Rewards thinking that you receive points when you buy stuff from the Playstation store. But it doesn't let you earn points anymore. Also tried to get points off my Movie stubs when I saw spiderman. But they didn't give me no points for that as well. Don't waste your time with this app definitely doesn't do what it says.

A lot of glitches in the app. I have managed to register enough movies to qualify for 4 free movies though, so there's that. I'm confident it'll eventually be on a par with Disney Movie Insider's app. in due time.

I like it so far, it's DOPE! Plus I'm a big movie fan, love games & electronics so what a better place 2 be then Sony while trying 2 solve stuff 4 points. Few negatives 2 me though is I completed tha one that ya gotta watch like three trailers/extras for 100 points. It even shows it's complete while on tha in progress chart/slot. If you are like me have a PlayStation but on a budget this is definitely the app for you. They pay you in points which is equivalent to PlayStation money. 400 points equals $4 in PlayStation money. So you can get a $10 gift card for 1000 points so basically each point is a penny. I went to go see uncharted on opening weekend they gave me 400 points per ticket. Me and my nephew went so that's 800 points. That's like $8 for doing what I was going to do anyways. Plus there's plenty of other ways.
