Sonyfy - Sony TV Remote

So every Time you press a button it takes you to the upgrade to premium. Even though I paid almost $3000. for the tv, they want $15. per year. If you don't, you get punished with annoying money grabbing marketing, I hope this deters 1000's from downloading it.

This app will never connect to my Sony TV when I need it too. Every time I have to restart my TV and my telephone just to get this app to work and even then sometimes it doesn't. I want my money back
Paid for Pro and it's worth it, however keyboard input would be greatly appreciated and the TouchPad control is so unbelievably slow, like a pixel at a time with no acceleration. Would be fantastic to see those problems addressed, otherwise it's good design and useful, better than the real remote!
Interface leaves much to be desired and has choices a child could see are bad ideas: 1. LOTS of empty space AROUND the buttons on all 3 screens, instead of using that space in the most EFFICIENT & LOGICAL WAY: increase size of buttons (or even the space between them, so you only hit what you want, not their neighbours) 2. Middle screen has some real doozies of stupidity: cursor menu does DOUBLE DUTY as VOL/CHAN buttons and these MOST USED BUTTONS are the 2ND selection!!! (They're also unmarked!)
too many ads and always asking to upgrade to full vetsion , not an app but a piece of processed food
I just got it. The immediate +es are. Far easier to navigate around apps. Quick to load. Doesn't get lost like the ghastly geniuses, weight lifters' hand set. The - es or mysteries are. How do I change HDMI source Where is the typing keyboard. Where is the touch navigator. Where is on / off for the TV. Where is channel changer for Sky tv channels. I have much to learn. EDIT. The rating goes up to 5. It quietly does all my wants. I apologise for my hasty start.
Had remote issues. Wanted to try it but it popped up ads so incessantly it made it impossible to try without doing the trial. Give you more than 2 minutes the first time you try the app.
App works well as a substitute for a broken TV remote but contains too many ads for premium version
Uninstalled it right after installing it. Every time I press a button it takes me to a screen to pay for the premium version. I already paid plenty for the TV why would I pay a monthly subscription for this app.
Worthless. Stuck in discovery and failed to load. No buttons to discover preferences/options (IF they exist). Certainly doesn't work on my Sony Bravia. Note lack of any response to complaints from developer(s) it speaks volumes. Note: You may need a phone with an IR blaster but who knows?
The ads are such a pain when you need the remote. Also, the fact that there aren't set volume keys separate from the navigation keys is so stupid. It is nice to have on my phone when I can't find my remote, however. And the app is fairly clean.
After you wait for the ads to disappear, it will connect. But not more than that. Will NOT change channels, volume, or anything else. * * * Only for the connection. I feel generous.
Pity can't use app to turn TV on. This means I need the controller anyway. Makes app a bit redundant. Still it works well once telly is on. It has channel/volume buttons. You need to check the app 2nd screen.
Only reason why I downloaded this app is to change the volume. Now I can't find the volume buttons 🤦♂️ please put it back wheres it's easily accessible. Edit: found it. Weird spot but ok.
To many ads, to the point you can't actually use it
Great remote app, even allows me to turn on the TV from my phone. Sony X900H 2020 model. Edit: maybe I spoke too soon, it has to reconnect if the TV is off. Still a good remote though!
This app is trash it won't even open and if it doesn't get stuck
Too expensive just buy and physically one for £10 with no yearly subscription
Every time you press the screen to activate any button, takes you straight to an ad for a subscription service. Hopeless.
Seriously? You have to pay for the basic function of the remote? Might as well bought the remote from Sony directly and don't have to worry about monthly subscription.
Excellent. Just need to know how to upgrade it for voice command. Also the app section, appear and disappeared for days.

The app is very good but just that it gives to many ads for premium, it's like evertime u want to press a button a slide of "go to premium" appears. Otherwise the app is awesome
most of the time the app doesn't connect with tv at all. though frequent troubleshoot, usually have to wait for few hrs or until. next day.
Ads block whole screen. Ads play media on phone. If an app has ads it should be limited to a small section of the screen.
Finally a remote that works on my Sony Bravia, and especially it doesn't need to be reconnected each time I try to use it. Visually the interface is good, the best out of all other remotes for Sony. However, I will stick to the free version as I find the yearly fee too much of a commitment as I would prefer it was a one-off purchase.
