Soul Chase - Retro Action

The best android game i've ever played: Great characters, balanced difficulty, godlike gameplay. The gameplay is the best part, it was like nothing i've ever seen in other games. The nightmare leves might have been a great difficulty spike but with the invincibility skill it becomes so much easier. Also the final bosses are so good. And reward you greatly for beating them.

Overall it's a great game. The controls are good, but not perfect. Warning, this game gets challenging fast. Prepare to die often after stage 5 lol. In addition to the main catch the ghost game there are also bosses. Also challenging, but a nice change from the main game. You can retry if you fail, which is a nice feature. Fun game overall, but does require patience to learn the stages. I got this while on sale, but would recommend to anyone that enjoys challenging platform games.

Very well designed platform game. It gets difficult quickly (5th stage and on). A neat feature is once you make it to a boss you can play until you win. No needing to work your way all the way there again. While it's a challenging game, it's still fun to play. The controls are good and the gameplay is smooth. Later levels take a lot of practice before you are able to succeed. If you're looking for a good challenging platformer I'd recommend trying this one.

An excellent Super Mario-like game that challenges you to jump through obstacles and take out enemies on your way to catch your escaped spirit as quick as you can. The story is creative and gameplay is very smooth! I love that when you die, you can go back and pick up your lost coins. Great game overall for all ages!

Whoa! This game is smooth. As a person inspired by Undertale too (I can see clear parallels between Undertale and this), I can say the future of storytelling in video games is bright. This game has a perfect difficulty curve, and your level design is amazing. I'm playing on easy mode for the story currently, hard mode was too hard for me. But I can say that this game could easily be a full-price Console game. Thanks for the awesome and perfect android game. It is really inspiring

Definitely not a game for beginners to the platformer genre with enemies littered around and appearing anywhere and everywhere they want making the levels INSANELY hard to navigate but hey where's the fun in an easy game plus retracing over and over makes you learn the levels and feels AMAZING to finally beat after tons of attempts 10/10 would rage again 😉

Played before and enjoyed but never beat it. Gets pretty difficult but stays fun and that youre both platforming the level And outrunning ghouls is cool and gives a sense of urgency. Will say I wish it was every five levels rather than 10 before going back to town but thats a nitpik. Really fun with few flaws and reminds me of a slimmed down ShovelKnight. Pick this up! I LOVE THIS GAME! Guys, def. try this game out, it's super fun, challenging, skill based retro game. You will die a lot, so be prepared. To the dev/s: TRY TO CONTACT STEAM AND TRY TO PUT IT ON PC! I think you guys should def. try to greenlight the game, this game is unique and sawing the easy mode note (didn't activate it, I was just curious), you/you guys are really cool and amazing. I think PC players should exp. this game too. I wish you (all) the best in the future, I will def. follow you.

Took me 2 days to finish the whole game, almost uninstalled when I was playing the final boss for 4 hours straight. It was very hard!!! Like how you intended it to be. You were right, it's very satisfying after you finish the game after raging at it so many times. One of the most underrated platformers I've ever played. Keep up the good work!!!

This game is incredibly good and so is its creator, I played the original version with only 3 chapters and it hooked me up, i can't express how this game is so similar to shovel knight and gives the feeling of playing it while actually not ripping it off. The graphics look so retro but so polished and the music is so nostalgic it reminds me of the old days. My most sincere congratulations to the creator. Almost a year ago I played this and thought i was done with it. How wrong was I.

The game is... fine. My biggest problem is the controls. Its an action game, but the player has to be very precise with button presses. In other games, you can press the middle of the screen, and a button press will register. All this makes up a game, that is only "meh".

I was so excited when I got this because the "Free" version of it was really tough but very satisfying when you finally defeated the Legendary Knight. I really like the music, the art style, and the gameplay of this game. I really hope you make more games like this one!

Just completed easy mode, can't wait to try difficult! Really fun and addictive, great graphics and the music is brilliant! Would happily pay money to play a longer more developed version of this with more levels powers and bosses

This is one of the best mobile games out there. Some parts are SUPER HARD, but they are definitely doable. The difficulty fits, and the challenge is nice. Anyone playing can tell there was a LOT of work put into this game. It's great!

The game is great. With the new world 10/10 would cry again but its so fulfilling once you get past thru a level. Keeps the old retro hard genre alive while also a bit forgiving. Making it a great game for hardcore players and new ones. Also contains classic memes

The game has touchy controls, a good story, I don't like that you can't return to the shops in a chapter though. I'm just mad that it feels more like a rage game then anything. It's a good game and the developer is pretty on top of things, but I have to uninstall because I don't want to put myself through this hell.

Speed runners, this game is for you! As you progress, the levels get really hard, you have to keep up to catch the ghost, which adds more intensity in the game play. If you like a good challenge, then I highly recommend this game. Amazing job HarambertGames! Keep up the good work! 😎👍

i have played this game since last year, i have never beaten the last two chapters until this year, AND I WASN'T EXPECTING A HARD MODE IN A GAME THAT WAS ALREADY HELL. i really love this underrated gem. not only the story became from funny to engaging, this game what made me skillful in the platformer genre and puts my patience to the test. i LOVE your decision to remove the damn lives system that gave me hell the first time i played this. really great game, i hope there're more games like this.

Very tough platformer, but great fun (when you're not tearing your hair out). Nice graphics, nice music. Great controls. A bit of story.

This is a very good game!!! I fall in love with this game. The most best game with simple mechanics in my opinion! I actually could play this game over and over again! I literally spend 2 hours try to completing this simple game instead of playing fast paced fps 3D game! I can see that your inspirational creating this game came from other game such as shovel knight, flappy bird and etc. Now I was interested and stay informated by every update you will do. Awrsome concept. I love chasing the soul and capturing it. Controls are good. Music is pleasant. Graphics give a retro feel.

Fun simple but challenging game... once I understood the controls. Graphic are retro...which is cool ... remind me of an Atari game.

Remove ADs don't work needs fixing. But good game It would make a great spin off game as a normal platform game like shovel knight which it is inspired and named Knights Templar

The game has a ok story , nice visuals, challenging gameplay that isn't over the top In difficulty & it's a great game overall.

I like it it's creative and i love the game even though i die so much but i'm actually very dissapointed in the control i need to double press every action like double jump i love the game but the control is trash

Lol this is quite a good game. I was thinking of playing it in easy mode as it is my first try but after reading about how hard mode was how it was meant to be played I had to take the hard mode! I regret it now that I can't even defeat the knight
