The only thing stopping 5 stars is the controller configuration. Bluetooth does work fine but no way to change buttons so you need to just work it out 🤷 also works with usb fight stick but same story. Gameplay and performance is perfect however. Impressive port
I purchased this game on Google Play ($13.99) a few years ago, and now I can't seem to get the game to work whenever I want to play (you haven't updated this since February 26, 2015...that's over 3 years). The game keeps force closing on me whenever I click on the icon (I click on the app icon, it opens as if it's going to open, then it closes)...Why?
Great game, one of my all time favourites, on the dreamcast...not on the phone. Company obviously doesnt care enough about its user base to update the game to work on newer versions of android. Absolute waste of money, and an utter shame. DONT BUY
Brought this a long time ago, played it and then took a break from it. Now when I come back to it, it takes me to a small Google games box and doesn't even let me play. Namco are unreachable as sent an email and it was undelivered. FIX IT NOW NAMCO
The last full experience of SoulCalibur from Dreamcast on mobile. Glad i bought it back when it was still unlisted. No microtransactions just great gameplay.
I still want to play this game in 2020. But with new phone i can't through in cause in opening screen i have to press A button. But I can't find any button on the screen. Please help me....

Played it with a joycon recently, controls were wonky but fun
I love this game but I would like to be able to play it on my Moto E4 phone, which runs Android 7.1.1
My initial review is irrelevant seeing as it crashes on the note 9 instantly

You have tarnished your Brand and image as a reputable firm. Not supporting purchased games in new iterations of android ( if that is the issue) is something that fly by the seat of your pants fledgling companies do. I feel violated having paid for a game that no longer works on any android system. Shame on you

LMBO WHAT A RIP OFF $13.00 AND IT DOESN'T EVEN START UP?
Very smooth game play, and the visuals are very nice. I don't know if any controller support has been patched in, but if not that should be priority. The virtual thumb stick can be a bit annoying at times. But it's not enough of an issue to dock a star. I recommend fans of the series pick this game up. Well worth it in my opinion.
Well, the game is great and all, but it's been lagging a lot lately and if you use a button a lot, let's say you perform a combo with the Kick button, it suddenly gets stuck as if you're holding it down. In order to get it back to normal, you need to pause the game. The problem is that it happens a lot so it really bothers me. I'm playing it in Moto X 2nd editions
There is an error. "Unfortunately, Package Access Helper has stopped." Happen on my Tablet with 4.4.4. But it works fine on my Phone with 4.1.2. I did some reading on the internet that some games won't work on the newer Android on some of the phones and tablets. They said something about it trying to download the info onto the sdcard/Android Phone or sdcard/Tablet at the same time and then crashes. Sound like a loop or something. I don't know that is true or not. Please beware of this error.
I can't believe I can play this game on my phone. Absolutely brilliant. I figured the controlling would be a little wonky but it plays really well for on screen controls. I am impressed. It's worth the money for me because I used to love playing this game in the arcade when I was in High School. And now its in my pocket on my phone. I ❤ technology.
I dont even knw if it needs anything a online open world maybe. Its the best fighting game money can buy. Your getting your 14 bucks worth in graphics alone. Its one of the those omg i cant belive you have that on your phone kinda game app. Play this around someone i bet a million smackaroos they are gonna say whats that on your phone it looks amazing .
I wanted to get this game but it did not play on my gamepad at first even though I updated the Google play app. So I tried it on my tablet and it works fine after it rebooted itself. So I thought to reboot my gamepad and it finally works. At first, I thought it I need to refund it but seem to fine after a reboot... Unlike the Dreamcast version, the android version does not have an option to add subtitles before and after the characters win/lose and the opponents.
Finally Found the cure to the problem! PLEASE pay attention guys!! This game is fully playable if you do the following :: i have a Galaxy Note 10+. All i did was change the resolution to the lowest settings for the phone (HD+) . The game wont work in any higher settings cuz it wasnt updated for it. But yes im on Android 10 and it runs amazing!!! If your Android can change the resolution settings like i just said, you will have a wonderful time with this game. Have fun and enjoy!!!
