Soultime is an incredibly helpful app for me to reflect on my personal Christian journey: confession, repentance, thanksgiving, praise and worship. I find a few relationship, hardships themes quite helpful as it provides guided meditation questions as well as redirection of insightful guidance and advice on top of the reflection questions. I think it would be helpful if Soultime can update new content for each themes, it can be the same topic but a different content.
I have tried various apps to help me meditate, but without success. I then tried this one and something clicked. The gentle background noise and someone talking you through your mindset in line with God's teaching works wonderfully for me, creating a safe space. This means I can really switch off and relax, with the blessing of being able to soak in God's word. The personalised suggestions based on your mood tracker are really helpful too. I just love it!
Once downloaded the app is mostly unusable until you agree to the free trial period. The fee for 1yr is $63 plus change. A day after my free trial ends, I cancel my subscription and email the developers for a refund. I have not received a response at all. I have not used the product for a year, nor do I want to. I should not be charged. The free trial is obviously a scam. ***Edit: Developers responded to this review, telling me to reach out the them. I emailed them again, and still no response!
This apps supposed to be a great apps. I mean I've seen the ads in social media recently and thought I could use some of reflection and meditation these days. But after I download and see the price and thought the price is so expensive, and then I thought well I think I'll try the free trial and see if it's good, I'll continue using it. After the first session it went okay, but after then the background scene and voice kinda paused broke sometimes and when I play the next meditation, also same.
Really like the free version. It's set up well with a good selection of meditations etc. I love the backgrounds, sound effects, and the Bible section. Would be nice to have different options to pay for the full version: there's a week's free trial which is great, but I'd like to be able to subscribe per month rather than pay the full year's amount in advance.
I like the contemplative approach in the meditations. Danny's are absolutely my favourites. Naomi doesn't really speak to me. Her voice sounds irritating to me for some reason. Also, I don't like that as the meditation ends, the background sound stops as well. It should continue so that I can dwell on what I heard a bit longer. But my biggest drawback is the price which makes this app by far the most expensive app in its category. If you would cut it, you could get more people subscribing.
This app was highly recommended and frankly I am shocked at the cost of the annual and monthly fees. Almost £60 for a yearly subscription fee is bad enough. But a monthly fee resulting in an annual cost of almost £90 is outlandish. Some of us who need the support this app can provide, but don't have that much spare cash. May I respectfully suggest that you revise your subscription fees? You might get more customers that way.
A reassuring companion through life's anxieties and ups and downs - I use this app daily to help me stay calm and focussed. It is very well thought through and soundly based both Biblically and psychologically. There is a richness and variety of content which I continue to explore and learn from - I would recommend to anyone who wants to journey and to feel supported as they do so.
It awe inspiring! One of a kind and it helped me alot in getting closer to God! I would like to suggest to arrange the app in a way that you can keep listening to the ambient sound without the need for the screen to be on, as sometimes I would want to continue meditating just with the ambient sound. Thanks and well done
Well, I was excited at first. I filled in the questionnaire. Half-way through, something happened to the page ('twas probably a computer error, or not). So, I had to start all over again. I eventually got through to the tab to receive the results. The cost to pay was extortionate. I got past that and requested my results, only to find that without paying I could only see a tiny bit of my results. Most disheartening They should make the first test free, or tell us it costs, from the start.
I would love this app but for one thing...the birds are so loud I can hardly hear the guide let alone quiet my mind! They also never stop! It would be really nice to either have a volume control or be able to turn them off. I love bird song but having the continuous, loud chirping is too much.
I would give this app higher, but I have some issues with it. First though some positivity. The mood tracker has significantly helped me with identifying my anxieties and has been a huge improvement to my life, however, the bad, after about 5 days all of the suggested meditations were the same, I didn't get any new ones. And they didn't seem to have anything to do with how I was feeling. Second, the app keeps telling me I don't have internet connection after I click on a meditation. But I do SOS
Finally a app with everything that will actually help with anxiety. Jesus, guided meditation, and calming music. Great backgrounds, good things to think about. I only wish the whole app was free but u actually get a whole lot of free things to choose from. I love it.
This app has probably saved my life this year. Profound and beautiful, helping me connect to God in an uniquely accessible way. I've used many meditation apps but this is so different and personal. I love that there are very short daily meditations as well as longer ones, so you can take a moment when you need to. God has spoken to me through this app, I can't recommend enough.
It's not really free. It looks great, and I understand to make a really great app you have to pay developers etc, but you can't say it is free when it's only a free trial, and everything of value is actually locked unless you join the free trial only to loose it after 7 days. Free, but not free.
Love it. It has helped/is helping me stay grounded through some really tough times. Very grateful for this app. One recommendation - is it possible to have a "repeat" setting for the meditations (i.e. so they play constantly over until I stop rather than having to replay each time)? And/or be be able to continuously play meditations (i.e. all of the hurt ones or all of disappointment etc.)?
Downloaded 3 days ago, went premium yesterday. I purposefully sought out the app page here to make sure I thanked the team for this INCREDIBLE app. I've never experienced anything like this. So many mood trackers, meditation apps, Journaling and Bible guidance, or sleep stories out there. But this is the perfect culmination of literally all those things, plus a few more features including their truly deep personality test. Soultime goes out of its way to assess how I'm doing with God. Truly 💖
Love this app, they've got so many meditations for different subjects. I love the quiz you can take to get meditations specifically tailored to fit your individual needs.
It seems good but I don't do anything every day, so signing up for a 7 day trial is almost a guarantee that I'll have to buy a subscription before I get comfortable using it or discover whether or not it works for me.
I installed after hearing ads on Premier Christian radio. No mention of its cost on the ads and I had assumed it was free. I have uninstalled as not interested in paying, annoyed about my waste of time. Charges should be made clear.
I love this app. No issues with my card or being charged oddly. Easy to manage under Google subscriptions too. Lots of content and a journalling resource. Not all really for me but have enjoyed different bits at different times. Maybe the other content would appeal most to more meditative types but the daily reflections are short any sweet and allow me with ADHD/asd to pray and have a routine.
I love this app. I find it really helpful as part of my prayer time. It helps me to focus, to address particular challenges, feelings, experiences or unhelpful beliefs. God has certainly worked through this to bring help, encouragement, comfort, insight, healing. And at this season with Covid, it's been quite literally a God send. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. I like the daily meditations, advent & Lent meditations and now also meditations tailored to mood checker results. So helpful!
I gave the base app 10 days of use before doing this review. I was initially floored with how amazing the features were (daily meditations, specific meditations, mood tracker, etc) even if majority are restricted to premium access. After 7th day, there aren't any free meditations at all. I usually don't mind paying for subscriptions but Soultime app purchase is too expensive at $60 per user for a year. Had it been more affordable, more people would patronize this.
This is the best app I have ever downloaded! It gently pushes me to having several quiet times throughout the day, so I can meditate on Scripture. It reminds me to take several deep breaths during tough moments. And it sets an atmosphere so I can commune with the Spirit of God. No regrets. The subscription price is WELL worth the investment.
It's a great app, but it be even better if more of the functionality was accessible without having to pay for the full version (or perhaps reduce the cost of the full version).
Amazing. Couldn't do without it. I was a bit sceptical at first, so many Christian apps out there, but never really have it all. This app does! I love how no matter how I'm feeling there is something for me to read. All the scripture specific to help with my mood and my feelings. The meditations are amazing. The reading Bible plan. Can't say enough about it. Absolutely wonderful and it has been a liftchanger for me. Thank you so much for such an amazing app. The paid version is totally worth it
