App used to be fine but for quite some time the finger print login functionality has been completely broken. Never works and half the time the app removes my username despite having "remember username" checked. I check my account balance frequently and typing in a password every time on mobile is a pain. At this point I'm strongly considering leaving the bank entirely to a larger chain that has an actual working app. It's 2022 SCB, get it together.
When the app works, it's great and very useful. Unfortunately, it crashes or undergoes maintenance so frequently that I can't rely on it solely to monitor my banking transactions and information. I often have to contact the bank directly or use their main site to complete simple transactions. I've found that if I delete and then re-install the app, it tends to work better but only temporarily. I'm currently shopping for a new bank that offers more consistent and convenient services.
Frequently loses device registration. Frequently loses fingerprint reader integration. Keyboard input is unreliable at times and drops back to previous selection causing input errors. Needs to be reviewed and bugs fixed. Get things working properly like other banks. Not a well behaved application.
Until the most recent update, the SCB app worked great. Now it requires constant sign-ins, does not work properly with password managers, can not enable the fingerprint sign-in option, asks you several times a week to re-enroll in mobile banking, needing to re-validate your TFA & phone number. The app is a giant headache now, while the previous version worked just fine.
cons: - personal passcode to sign on doesn't work. - no option to deposit checks via the phone's camera. - no option for fingerprint sign in - No Zelle option to send or receive money. - the app doesn't have all the options that their web version has. - no option to modify or change my mortgage due date. I honestly dislike the app and bank's website but it was the only bank who financed my home so I have no choice but to enjoy the cons.
This app has worked fine for years for me other than the occasional hiccups in service. However, today it made me update it. And it keeps insisting I update it. I already have! I've uninstalled and reinstalled it just to be sure! Completely broken and unusable now. Disappointing.
Worked great until recently! Now when I try to open it I get a white screen and have to uninstall and reinstall to get it to workπ also have to go through the whole registering my phone number again every time. Very frustrating. π€¬
Locked me out completely and every time I put information, it gives me an error
I'm about to change banks just because of this horrible app. It crashes so often and it so unusable, I dont understand what happened, it used to work just fine.
I've had it for a little while but I really like it π It's easy to use and understand and for a person like me who has no idea how to run a computer it really makes me feel comfortable using it, and if I'm taking care of my business about my account that helps alot!!π
I have had this app for less than 24 hours and it has already kicked me out of my account and says my user ID is no long valid so what do I do now?
crashes when log in. multiple times tried to reinstall to fix. cant see any loan payment detail.
This app constantly tells me I am entering my password wrong, even though I am positive I am not. So frustrating!
Did not allow notifications that I needed. It was P I A. even with help twice.
There are a few things that are difficult to find but other than that the app is great

I had some concerns about bank fees and Josh an employee there was nasty and argued with. Josh feels it's not his responsibility to know his employer's policies. His lack of knowledge of his job didn't seem important to. I've been a customer since 2009 and never felt so disrespect by this bank till now.
Seems that previous issues with the app's check deposit feature have been fixed with the last update. Usage is now smooth.

I couldnt even get the app started because my security code wouldnt register. I keep getting an error notice.
Everytime I try to open app it says it needs to be updated, go to update and says no updates available.
I've tried this app on multiple different phones. A couple times it has worked but nine times out of ten it says invalid User Id or password. Very very frustrating, this problem has been going on for over a year. You would think they would fix this since most people use their phones for banking these days.. I'm thinking about switching banks
Most recently there is issues with the app. Won't get pass the opening screen. For now I have to use the website.
app does not function right cant log in l always get invalid id or password but yet i get on from my computer no problem very disappointed
The feature to deposit a check via the app freezes and does not work. The app just recently updated itself so maybe there is a broken link.
The app automatically locks my account after a single attempt at signing in. I've even had my password reset, and the new password will lock my account
Overall, the app is a basic but useful app. I like the instant notifications when a transaction goes through, and the ability to transfer funds between accounts. BUT...the login needs work. It is supposed to work with the fingerprint sensor to log in on my phone, but does not. However, the four digit pin seems to work well, and much easier than putting your full password in each time. So overall, basic but good app.
