When using this app, it allows me to transfer money on the go. Instead of going into a bank and doing it. Also the security feature of allowing me to use my thumb print is pretty cool. Even after a month it takes away the finger print so you need to remember your password (you can enable your fingerprint again in the settings).

Great for checking your balance or doing transfers from account to account but for mobile check deposit it is lacking. And it seems like it only works sometimes it may have to do with phases of the moon.Wish you were more consistent.

Always easy to login and make payments with the fingerprint setting. I really like being able to check my accounts with a touch of a button. Would recommend to anyone that has a banking account with Sound Credit Union

The app used to be mediocre in comparison to other banking apps but credit to Sound CU. They have made big updates to the app and continuously improve. It may not look as slick as some other banking apps but all the functionality is there. Update 7/2020 the camera never captures the check correctly, the outline doesn't even line up with the picture. This was not an issue before, dont know what happened.

The app glitches about 30% of the time and pictures of the check have to be retaken. Almost all the time an extra step is added asking for an unnecessary 2nd review of the front of the check. Over time with each 'upgrade' more steps and time are required. It is still much more time efficient than driving to the Credit Union and there have been zero lost funds.

Difficult to photograph checks for mobile deposit. Update: app now takes photos of checks instantly and automatically immediately following a very loud and annoying voice message that it will do so. A little warning on the screen that a voice message is coming next would be nice, so we can turn down the volume. Or just a screen message would be even better.

I love the app. 5 years ago I opened a checking and savings account, then received a $100 bonus after just a few months. Since then I've opened a Rewards credit card and car loan through Sound Credit Union. Being able to review balance history, make mobile deposits, and manage all of my accounts in one place is why I love Sound Credit Union and their mobile app.

Great app. I can take of most my banking needs. Some options are not self explanatory; i.e. temporarily disabling your debit card, tranfer funds to another account owner. These options are there... Not easily accessable. More work is needed in the 'user friendly' side of it. I look forward to seeing the improvements. Also, please remove the ads! Finally, please add a comment section when transferring funds to another account.

Worthless. Kicks me off the session after just a few minutes. Kicked me off in the middle of trying to deposit a check. Speaking of which the auto photo for check deposit might as well not be a feature because it barely works. Clean looking interface but that's all the praise I've got.

Thankful for online mobile banking. Sound Credit has been our Family's bank for over 20 years now before it changed from watermark. They have always fixed fraudulent charges or allowed overdraft protection when needed. Sometimes we have to use the 30 in savings to checking and the fee has been like $5 if we end up with 0 savings on the 1st. We just don't got it like that. There is also no fee to transfer that 30 as long as we are within the limit. Thank You guys for appreciating your customers.

I love the app. Depositing mobile checks is a bit difficult, this time(7/25/21) it was easy to deposit a check, normally it takes a few attempts.

I've use mobile banking for years at two different banks. This Bank used to work great until they recently changed it. It was difficult to set up and I had to check take the check picture over and over and over again finally I had to set it up on a white piece of paper with a bright light like a photographer would use to get the picture to take. What a waste. If it's not fixed I'll be switching banks. I depend on mobile banking. Dave Isaak, Bellevue

If you are negative in your account, it is a 3 hour process to get set back up. for 10 years now this is an issue. I only use this for car payments. I pay $218 per month and then pay $700 the next month and then the automatic withdrawal pulls $218 and the account is locked out. Over payments equal extra fees. watch your money.

The app is easy to use and clean looking. The rating is more so for the fact that I can't cash my paycheck each month without waiting 3 BUSINESS days for the amount over $200 to land in my account. Rent and other bills are due but I can't pay them if I get low on funds and have to wait. I also hate that I can't find a way to turn off the camera sound when I deposit checks. They didn't always do this. It's not connected to any of my volume settings, so I don't know how to turn it off.

I previously rated this app and gave it 1 star. The reason behind that was after updating my phone to a newer android phone I was unable to get the app to work which seemed to be a common android user issue. 1 month into having the phone I noticed the app was updated again and tried downloading. It worked like a charm and everything the app offers is very easy and straight forward. Happy they fixed the android glitch and I can have access to mobile banking again.

Everything works extremely well..no matter where I am I can check balance and pay bills..one issue..on my phone to chk recent activity..the old app hid everything under sound credit union..new app shows to much info!! ( Its been awhile since i last rated the app.. evidently either responses are either not read or are ignored..no action has been taken.. recent activity button still shows too much information!!!

The app is good for viewing transactions, but the change to the mobile deposit isn't an upgrade. The software has a hard time reading the image and requires taking the photo several times before it will process the deposit.
