Works well. Helps me measure the difference in most levels between water pumps. Didn't need to be precise so it showed me the range difference between the two. Worked as needed.
Great app, easy to use. Not sure about accuracy but measurembts seems reasonable based on examples they provide.
Works, but maxes out at 88db and ads are invasive. In addition to banner ads there are full page ads that block the app and ads on exit that prompt for confirmation of exit.
Trying to build a soundproof studio. This little app gave me a good idea of my target. I am currently at 60dB sound coming from outside into my studio. I want to reduce that by 45 dB.
The meter seems seriously inaccurate: it indicates 25-30db in a very silent room, 60db for my cat purring (!) and 80-87db when someone talking.
Works well, ads are not intrusive. A rare free app that just does what it's supposed to and gets out of your way. I've no way to validate if the readings are accurate but... They seem accurate.
Clean, effective, and very useful. A well crafted app that does the job. I would like a few colour scheme options (and a dark style one), but the absence of this does not reduce my love of the app. 😀
Easy to use, cannot comment on the accuracy of the readings as I have nothing to base such an assessment on, but it is useful to make comparisons with. For example we experienced disruptive over-night noise at a hotel and I was able to compare it to the volume level of the TV.
Incredibly convenient to use all you do is open it and it gives you the info, non-intrusive ads which I greatly appreciate some of the others I tried had banner ads and pop ups making it annoying to collect data or resetting the graph.
Well sound is heard it's only through our capabilities of hearing 😳but with this app you can;. 1:find air leaks or drafts. 2:sound proof your studio. 3:find transmission noises. 4:find water leaks. 5:see what speaker'is best. 6:be nosy, not noisey and I'm forgetting something or it would receive 5 stars 🔚
App works fine. App also plays FULL SCREEN VIDEO WITH SOUND while I'm checking volume levels. 50+ silent ads, I don't care, playing SOUND while I'm listening for around levels is utterly and completely useless.
Very cool app! I have not used it much but truly I was/am looking to measure sound in various situations to get a value or number for reference and this app is very sensitive to capture all the sound and assign a value to it such as breaking glass or ambient noise or a very directed noise. Very glad to have such a tool. Thank you!
Very accurate and easy to use. I kove the memory feature that gives you the high, low, and average readings for a period of your choosing. Great product!.
Different db level between different handphone. So not sure which 1 is accurate reading for dB level.
App works great but in the middle of using the app they put up advertisements which are very hard to exit out of there a tiny little x in the corner of your screen of the phone which won't allow you always to clear the ad you have to close your app and restart your it's very Sneaky way of making look at the app Ads very disappointed with this app's approach to advertising
Works great for the work I do sound engi eering for local musical theater, high school productions and a few "rock" shows. More accurate than I need to keep things "legal" and the older generations from leaving! Plus or mi us 5 dB is great for me... a d the app is probably better than that.
Very simple app to use. The ads version doesn't interfere with the app itself. It's a very handy thing to have if you are the slightest concerned about noise pollution. I really like it.
Works as advertised. I work around jet engines and need to know when noise levels are and are not safe. This app lets me know when to wear hearing protection.
It works well. But can it work through headphones or earphones? I'm confused.
Well... I cannot actually believe this is accurate on any level. Everyone is asleep and nobody snores... but it reads as high as 58 but generally stays at about 40. Probably no meter app can give an accurate measure without additional equipment. But if you are just drinking around trying to teach kids it's probably fine.
Works fast... it would be nice to record the levels for reference sake... example: I had to screen shot the dB level to a generator co. To prove level of noise was 15db higher than advertised.
It has fewer ads than the app I had before. However it has lesser features too
Very happy with the app. I agree with another user who wrote the ads are not intrusive hence the 5 stars
Accurate. There is a 72db label in my machine and the app was bang on perfect.
I've tried a few of these types of app and this easy and good to use. Also fun.
Made me aware of how loud I'm playing my music. Essential and I recommend.
Love it. I think that if you could run the app when phone is locked, it would be AMAZING for saving battery for example (something subtle, just the numbers) and maybe a dark mode would be amazing for those who spend a lot of time on screens 🏃♂️💨
