Sound Proof Puppy Training
Training our dogs to be comfortable with sound is essential to having a calm, well-adjusted dog. As new puppy owners you can start this training from 8 weeks of age. As a breeder you can start this from 3 weeks of age.
After teaching puppy class for several years I needed a way to assist clients to get their puppies comfortable around environmental noise. So I wrote this app.

Love the idea. Only sound I didn't like was the clippers. It makes the phone vibrate and that can't be turned off. Even if I start the sound at low volume, it doesn't change the intensity of the phone vibrating. When phone is on the table, the vibrating is louder than the audio clip's sound itself.
The app is very good and the best I have found to help my sound sensitive border collie. It is very easy to use. However it would be even better if you could record more sounds of your own. My dogs fears are specific to certain traffic sounds. I love that the sounds repeat until you stop them. Would definitely recommend.
Very nice app, but surprised there's no cast option. Remote audio control to different rooms would seem likely to help further desensitize or dogs. After just a few minutes they seem used to "that" speaker.
Needs updating. Can not control start/stop/pause from Android phone. Once an audio has begun, I have to clear all apps for it to stop. Otherwise great concept...
Great app for desensitizing dogs to sounds they're scared of & for getting puppies used to different sounds & noises of everyday life so nothing bothers them. I play the sounds for my litters of puppies at feed time so it's a positive experience for them. They don't even worry about it.
It won't let me turn the sound off and keeps playing mowers and fireworks continuously! Help! I've pressed the stop playing but it still continues! I ended up having to uninstall it :(
Great app and has worked fantastic with training our puppy spoodle. After previously having beautiful dogs scared of fireworks, storms and construction sounds we have put the work in to using this app and can already see the benefits. Random fireworks, a good thunderstorm and overhead construction while still having a fairly calm puppy during the last 2 weeks has proven to us that this app is a great training tool, highly recommend!
Really good app. Use with my puppy litters. It broke for a while - I couldn't open it, but it's working now.

Spelling errors and tips on every single page! Sounds are nice, but I couldn't rate higher because of all the spelling errors. Hire someone to proofread the page! Very unprofessional.

I rarely pay for an app, but when I found this one, my curiosity was piqued. As a professional dog trainer, I was looking for a way to help my clients predict and use sounds that cause anxiety in their dogs. This app does just that, and allows the user to play sounds softly in the background as the dog becomes accustomed to it, and eventually counter-conditioned. I am thrilled and will recommend to other clients and trainers.
A brilliant app that will make desensitization work so much easier for my clients puppies! Capturing calmness around these sounds can be difficult in the moment - being able to set up training sessions including everyday (and some not-so everyday) sounds (starting at a low volume) makes training go so much smoother. Thank you!
Pretty disappointed that an app that costs money still crashed when trying to record your own sounds after it's been brought up for at least 5 months... Can't train my own doorbell and dog barking noise... It's a shame.
So easy to use, there's really no good reason why any puppy owner or breeder isn't using this app!
Should have bought this the day I brought my puppy home. I kept thinking I would just find YouTube videos with the sounds. Well, easier said than done. This paid app is worth it for the convenience. Just buy it now and save yourself some time before deciding to buy it in a few weeks. The UI is unintuitive but functional. Play a sound by clicking the icon. While the sound is playing, the icon is replaced by a black "stop" square. Press the square before moving to a new page or sound.
