Soundarya Lahari
The Soundarya Lahari meaning "Waves Of Beauty" is a famous literary work in Sanskrit believed to be written by sage Pushpadanta and Adi Shankara Some believe the first part "Ananda Lahari" was etched on mount Meru by Ganesha himself (or by Pushpadanta).Sage Goudapada, the teacher of Shankar's teacher Govinda Bhagavadpada, memorised the writings of Pushpadanta which was carried down to Adi Shankara. Its 100 stanzas eulogize the beauty, grace and munificence of Goddess Parvati / Dakshayani, consort of Shiva.Soundarya Lahari consists of two parts i.e. Ananda Lahari meaning waves of happiness (first 41 stanzas by Ganesha) and Soundarya Lahari (the next 59 stanzas by Adi Shankara).These 100 stanzas are supposed to be the foremost among Mantra literature. It is also believed that by Making suitable Yantras and reciting particular stanzas and worshipping the yantras almost anything can be obtained in the world.
About Devi
Devi is the Sanskrit root-word of Divine; its related masculine term is Deva.Devi is synonymous with Shakti, the female aspect of the divine,as conceptualized by the Shakta tradition of Hinduism. She is the female counterpart without whom the male aspect, which represents consciousness or discrimination, remains impotent and void. Goddess worship is an integral part of Hinduism.Devi is, quintessentially, the core form of every Hindu Goddess. As the female manifestation of the supreme lord, she is also called Prakriti, as she balances out the male aspect of the divine addressed Purusha.Devi or Durga is the supreme Being in the Shaktism tradition of Hinduism, while in the Smartha tradition, she is one of the five primary forms of God.In other Hindu traditions, Devi embodies the active energy and power of male deities (Purushas), such as Vishnu in Vaishnavism or Shiva in Shaivism. Vishnu's shakti counterpart is called Lakshmi, with Parvati being the female shakti of Shiva.According to the Vedas, Shakti is claimed to be Maya or illusion that casts a veil over Brahman,the Ultimate reality. Shakti and Brahman are inseparable entities that lie in a single body which reaffirms the claim that Shakti and Shiva coexist.Devi or the divine feminine is an equal counterpart to the divine masculine, and hence manifests herself as the Trinity herself

I am so glad I found this!! Been looking for this rendition for a long time now. The app itself is good but keeps getting stuck (stops suddenly by itself) and I have to restart constantly. Secondly, I wish the play bar would move with the vocals or that the lyrics would coordinate/change along with vocals. It would make it easier to find and play from where the app last stopped - seeing as that happens very often.
This is a great app and exactly what I was searching for. Thank you for creating this one. May this app reach thousands of devotees and get Devi Parvati's blessings.

Awesome App. this App is really a blessing to me as I was really looking for a App. which will supplement my daily prayer routines. I really feel the Adhi Shankar's blessings every time every time listening the Audio. However the App. developer truly deserves a ton of blessings from Adhi Shankara Bhagavath Pada. Finally I have a request to the developer to add one more option for explanation of Lyrics in Tamil Language also . The fonts to have Larger size option to help Vision clarity.

I have got audio cd of the same. With lyrics in English it is nice. But you meaning in English and vernacular languages.

The author didn't even know this work is for Tripura Sundari Devi not Devi Durga, although they all are one but, the dhyan and complete narration is about Tripura deity for a reason?
