Man, I loved this app. I'm not a professional at making or mixing music, but it was fun to mess around with it sometimes, and it was definitely way more fully featured than other free mobile DAWs. Can't use it anymore on my galaxy S8 with pie beta and probably not gonna be able to use it in the stable release as well :/
Samsung please. Please have a change of heart. I have been looking for a good music creation app for Android for forever and they are all not very user friendly(did not have a Samsung device) I switched today to an s8 from an essential phone and found out about this. This is by far the best app on android for music creation(by far) I haven't used samsung devices since the galaxy s3 but I promise to buy samsung from this point forward. Please do not remove this app :(
The app is great for what it is the added wired keyboard support is great and makes it much easier to use. Though it's hard to enjoy with the constant crackling and popping noises every time a note is played.
Samsung, discontinuing Soundcamp is a TERRIBLE decision. I don't know what you're thinking. I have never been an Apple product user but this might be the very thing that steers me away from Android and Samsung products. I want a GREAT music studio on my devices. Soundcamp was it.
Samsung makes great hardware but from software point of view this is where they failed. Just look at those few apps they released, be it for smartphones or smart TVs, which eventually gets lack of updates then dropped the support and finally removed. Long ago I contacted them trying to request for a Samsung keyboard software update for the Note3 due to Google API changes but the reply given was "unsupported hardware"? Since then I will try to find other better alternatives before using their officially released apps.
It's sad they are going to discontinue Soundcamp. I had really hoped that some in the music community would really support this app. It has a lot of potential. I was introducing other musicians to the app. Sorry to see you go.
Very helpful app. Like garaceband.. i love samsung and please update instruments like real drum sound. and another and app is difficult to run in J series . the plugin always come Stop again and again .i hate and it disturbing me. while we created song. always cominģ stop effect and 3rd party app
I love this app more than any app that it has ever been invented. I guess that's why they decided to discontinue it. The best way to describe how I'm feeling is Uber mad. Sound camp was in ultimate decision and my purchasing of a Samsung device. You guys are breaking my heart. Sound camp was one of those apps that made me feel like life was a little more worth it. So congratulations on making a whole bunch of people sad and depressed.
I am so sad that you'll terminate the app. This is the only app that I can use on composing music on android. I am thinking if you guys will have a new studio app like this? Will you just change the name of Soundcamp? Because only Samsung phone has this awesome app. I hope I can keep this. There's no Garage Band on android.
This app was one of the best in the category. It gave me courage to do more. I have done a lot of music making just as a hobby before in my laptop. But this was the app made a great influence in my music life. I'm really sad to hear that you are discontinuing it. We hope that you'll come up with something better for Android Pie.
It was a good DAW station for Android. Garage Band is much better and more professional, but Soundcamp was the only DAW station for music producers who don't produce with Apple. I hope Samsung will replace Soundcamp with a much better Galaxy Band!🤘🏻 (Just an idea, Samsung😀)
Great app but last update broke compatibility. "Professional Audio System has stopped, please restart your device to use SoundCamp." Notice every time, no error report function.
I am incredibly sad to see this truely wonderful app cease to exist after 28 December. Besides being a lot of fun , it has taught me how to essentially make music. I hope that you reconsider this decision to terminate SoundCamp.
This is the best music app for Samsung and Android phones. Too bad they have discontinued it...😐
Literally the single best Samsung App ever made. Have no idea why they discontinued it. Over time it would have had a great following and even contributed to tablet sales had to choosen to expand it's capabilities. Bring it BACK!!!
Please bring this back Samsung! I would pay a premium for continued support for this app, even if the app had no plans on updating its features. This was the only app that could replace GarageBand for iOS.
The best app I've ever used, really helpful, never crashed and gave me the opportunity to stop dreaming and start creating, to bad it won't be available anymore, still, thank you so much!
I can't even load up the app,it always says sound recorder had stopped,to use sound camp you must restart you're device, did it but it didn't work.
My soundcamp suddenly doesnt start anymore. It saying to restart the device and did it and same thing happens . I tried reinstall it and still the same result. Im using galaxy A8+2018.
hi.its great.goodjob. but it would be nice if we can export file for working on audacity .and leveling soundtrack volume faded in and out.thanks
It was one of the best app that I found out. Don't know why you guys discontinued. i guess Samsung just lost their one and only sound making app that was the best in the market.
It was a very nice application. It was well made, and great, the closest thing we have to garageband on Android. Sad to see it go. I hope it won't be removed permanently.
This app is amazing, i have so much fun with the looper mode especially when you learn rythem, I can't believe the support is ending though, it's such a shame since its really a great app
one of the best music composition apps on the play store. I really hope you're not gonna end supporting this app and the community of people who cherish it.
I am shocked to see this being taken down, and I do hope they'll reconsider, but my time with this app has been excellent and I really have enjoyed using it. Please reconsider removing this app, there are plenty of us who love it so much!
Rest in peace, Soundcamp. Just when I was finally starting to get used to it. It didn't have all the best instrument sounds to use, but it had a lot of nice downloadable extras and faux pedals and amp effects that you could use on the guitars and basses, which I liked a lot. FYI: n-Track 9 is a great DAW to replace this one. The downloadable instrument packs can get pricey, but the quality is very much worth it.
