Soundfreaq Remote

With newest version of android 5.0.1 im using a nexus 4 and it works and connects no problem. Can turn it on and off, adjust volume and change sources or stations on radio. However it dosnt show changes on my screen like what station I'm on or what source I'm using. It also has a horrible music player for picking what u want to play. You can use your own player on your android device however which resolves this issue.

This app does Nothing but adjust the volume on my phone. Doesn't allow me to power on and off my sound kick, doesn't allow me to customize the acoustics like sound freak promised when I bought it. They need to seriously put some work into this app.

If I reset my phone it will work once, next time maybe, but definitely not a third time... it pairs with bluethoot, but the buttons won't work. Tried googling it... found many similar cases, when I open the link it leads to their helpdesk webpage and there is nothing to be shown... when trying the FAQs there is nothing regarding the issue. I had this problem so many times I am unfortunately giving up... having the gadget and not being able to use is very frustrating.

The only thing I need this app for is to control FM tuning, and it does this well about half the time. When it's not working I am able to see which station is tuned in, which is critical since there's no other way to get this information.

Can't even adjust the volume. Only thing it does is adjust phone output volume when synced to blue tooth , but I will gladly do that with out a worthless app like this! Don't waste your time time for some improvements or take it off the market.

It only does one thing, controls your Soundkick from your phone or tablet. The sound from my Soundkick is amazing, so I use it often, but since I stream from my PC the app is less useful. When I do stream from my phone or tablet, it does what it needs to but can also be controlled from within the app playing the music.

Just bought a Soundfreaq Sound Platform 2 and I am unable to control the device via this app when paired

I'm not sure why people give it one star, it works exactly like the real remote. Downloaded and worked immediately.

I thought there was a am/fm radio on the app. Kind of a pointless app.

This app did not work. The other app does, but it has WAY less controls.

This app is nothing but crap, downloaded it thinking I could connect it to my soundstep, but all it does is let's me adjust the volume on my phone.

I'd like to be able to remotely adjust the volume on my Sound Kick speakers, but this app only adjusts the volume on my android device, which I can do many other ways.

Pretty much what the title says. Why can't this app support landscape? I use this app to control the sound platform on top of my fridge with a Samsung tablet mounted to the fridge and it's really annoying having to use it in sideways portrait. Seems like such an easy thing to add

This app doesn't work. It won't do anything. It has been paired with the platform, bluetooth connected, and nothing. Not at all impressed.

It does everything,I agrees with Tess. I play my Rhapsody, Pandora plus music on my phone, pc, and as tV. Freaking fantastic! Been using for three years now.

This update removes all "Music List" options except "All songs." Try scrolling 9000 songs. Occurs on multiple Android devices with different OS versions. How can you release an update that makes the app worse?

I tried both remote apps. They both do not work

The app works great with my Sound Freaq device. This is just what I was looking for. The app was easy to use, but there should be a simple help tool. I am using a LG STYLO-2 / Android phone.

Note 2 and note 3 plays music doesn't control unit

I don't understand why people hate it. It does what it needs to do? It works great for me! Probably just user error for the people that hate it...

It always worked until the last update. Now it won't work.

I had this before and it wouldn't work on jelly bean. now I can't find the way to change screens. no radio, no remote screen. one star until instructions

This app would not let me select my music from a list,it only has a fast forward or reverse option.That doesnt work well if you have 75 hours of music stored on your device as it starts in alphabetical order.It also overlaps songs if you try to play the music with your own music app,its annoying.Otherwise it functions well as a remote,great while cooking or if I dont feel like getting up to turn down the speaker.

I wish there was a way to check sound spot's battery level though.

How could any company allow an app to be available when the majority give it 1 star?

Does not work at all. Why don't they just make a lousy cheap remote controler, and include it with the pruduct?
