Getting meaningful user feedback is an essential ingredient to any successful website or app. SoundingBox provides user testing services to start-ups, non-profits and large enterprises seeking to get detailed feedback on the websites or app prototypes they develop.

To take a test survey, install the app and type "test" when prompted. To become a SoundingBox tester and receive surveys inside the app, visit https://soundingbox.com/be-a-tester and sign up.

A survey consists of tasks and questions about those tasks. A task is an activity that the app will present to you inside of an embedded web browser inside the app. An example activity for a shoe e-commerce site might be to find a pair of shoes that you like and add it to your cart. When you feel you have completed the activity press Done. Immediately following a task the app will ask you questions about your experience. For example, on the example shoe site, we might ask: "How easy was it to find your shoes? Did you encounter any problems while you shopped?"

The SoundingBox app records your task as well as your responses to the questions after your task. Together these recordings and question responses allow our customers to better understand how to improve the user experience of their apps.

The SoundingBox app will never request personal information, ask you to sign up on a site, endorse a product, make a purchase, or otherwise ask you to perform an activity that would violate a site's terms of service. All SoundingBox surveys must pass a rigorous review process before they reach you the tester.
