Does what it said it would do. I tried others but this was actually in sync, so much so, that I constantly think one of devices sound stop working. Plus it's the only one I've tried that lets you use your media storage instead of YouTube or Spotify. My only complaint is that I wish you had more opportunities to watch ads to get 15 more minutes of streaming, so far I have only gotten one. I might remove this last bit if another opportunity shows up though. Really good app, I recommend it!
Only need to buy the app on the device you want to stream from, not any speakers. As a way to synchronize audio on devices it's great. As a media player it's decent, but nothing so nice as what you get with VLC (my personal favorite). You can't select multiple songs at a time unless you select a whole album, which makes playlist creation rather cumbersome. It saves the playlists as .pls files, so VLC sees them and can read (but not edit) them, but this app can't see VLC playlists.
Amazing app! It has all I wanted and the price to upgrade was fair and something I done after the first 10 minute demo. I wish the other feautes were more seamless, such as pairing to other music players. But as it is so far it does what it says on the box with a little troubleshooting here and there to get a beautiful harmony of music.
I've come back 2 years later in hopes this app would have been fixed from my previous review. I'm still quite disappointed. The sync issues seem to have improved but the DLNA stream feature with spotify is quite buggy. It works for a few moments but can only play a few songs at best before the app crashes with most crashes happening upon changing songs, not to mention the battery drain and a pop-up warning telling me this app is using too much CPU with a recommendation to close it.
Not exactly what I wanted but it does what I need it to do, which is to play 2 speakers at the same time. You have to use 2 phones to connect 2 speakers via wifi which can be inconvenient at times. The sync is no where near perfect but I found that when I used the second phone/speaker for bass the sync seemed to be a little better. This app can definitely use some work but it's good for what it does considering the roughly non existing options otherwise.
I bought this app because I was looking to use the app as a bluetooth splitter. Of course I have to use another phone to connect to other speaker but overall considering how complex it must be to send music thru several wireless signals it does ok trying to keep speakers synced with each other. It accomplished what I needed it for.
The best app out there for playing music on multiple phones and staying in sync. Lots of control. Bluetooth can work too. It is not always easy due to buffering but I have been able to sync 2 Bluetooth and 3 wired devices effectively. You have to we work with it a little to get used to it. I highly recommend it!
It would be perfect if I could have a friendly user interface like in android in Windows. It's almost perfect (no joke). And the support... It's poor. It don't updated since June of the past year. I would like a pure black theme and resizeable widgets.
After an euphoric start with this app, I am now going from five stars to one star, because this app has been abandoned by the author. Despite having paid for premium, the app loses its status randomly and need to reinstall. Author does not reply to emails. Too bad the author has abandoned it and hasn't open sourced it. He should at least be honest about it in the description otherwise this is a rip off. I switched to snapcast instead. Open source, no licenses, and works better.
Was working great, then suddenly reverted to the Free version on my phone (possibly due to Samsung OneUI 4.0 upgrade?). Have to uninstall then reinstall to get it to load the Premium version, but can't even pay for it a second time, since Google remembers that i already bought it. Reached out to the developer twice, haven't heard back.
Th IU s apps IU s incredible! It actually works! User friendly, too. It's stable, as in NOT finicky. The UI is intuitive for me. It was easy to see what I had to do use the apps capabilities. This is the first and, so far the only, app I have come across that is able to play a song and send audio yo it's speaker and send the same audio to a other phone which routes it to it's own speakers yo cx reach my bgg ears perfectly in sync with the audio from the 1st phone's speakers. I am VERY impressed
Finding this app was a wonder as we forgot to bring our speakers. Everything was grrat, starting from the sound quality to the sync. Works like a charm, though, the syncing could do a little more work. A great app. A fine recommendation to those who forget to bring speakers.
Excellent for streaming music to various android-based gadgets like mobile phone, using WiFi as medium for sending signals. I was able to stream to my Android Smartwatch and it's awesome, creating a stereo-like surround effect. I wish in tthe future updates/upgrades it could also stream voice calls and can be used to receive and send calls from the phone to a Smartwatch
used to work really well now the App keeps crashing unexpected and regularly (both phones are the Samsung A52s 5G). After a min or 2 of music, the connection breaks and music stops on the second phone.
It's good, it works. It does what they promise. The only problem I have is that MP3s are not my main source of music. What about other music players such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Beatport, and such. Just expand your support and you just might get a 5 star from me. Thanks ~
I don't know why people underrate this app. Upgraded to premium version few minutes later trying the free version but I'm writing this review after few days of trying premium version. Bcz This is a really cool app and This app deserves 5 star!! If you ever wanted to turn your extra android devices into wifi speakers, then this is the best app you should try. Perfect syncing features, *please add support for video sync via wifi or make a separate app videoSeeder and I'm willing to buy it ❣️
Very good app..... I can stream music to my other device which is connected to my stereo system without the need of any external bluetooth device.... Does an excellent job in streaming music without any loss in quality.... And it keeps getting good with every update..... Thank you devoloper for this amazing app....
The app basically works. However, despite buying the Premium upgrade, playback always stops after 3 minutes on the speaker device. Unusable for me this way. I just need a stable streaming service in my car to play music from my main tablet on another tablet I'm using for GPS navigation. BubbleUPnP works much better in this case.
So far seems to work well. Not the easiest to use, took a bit of setting up, almost gave up but perservered amd glad I did. Using HiFy to link my Spotify, and then having to remove HiFy battery optimisation (my phone issue) as it kept dropping out. Got there in the end
It's te best music share over different devices app but it would be great i your connect to a device with out an internet connect with one device hosting with a hotspot and the other devices connect to it's hotspot. And if you could also allow it to just share any audio that comes from any app with other devices.
It's a good idea... however, I want to use the app with my Google Premium Account. Google Music doesn't exist anymore, having been replaced with YouTube Music or YouTube Premium. Please update the app to reflect this major change in the music source. It should just require changing the source and label...
SoundSeeder is a breath of fresh air for this genre of apps, it's creative, nearly seemless, and supports Google Play music unlike some of the other similar apps. I paid for premium within a minute of trying it out. Keep up the great work team :)
I can't get the app to play Spotify. It shows Spotify as an active option in the settings but won't work. I even bought the full version of the app and it still won't work.
It works will for streaming music from my tablet or handphone to the receiving device. For Spotify, I use the suggested Hify apps to stream music to the receiving device via AirPlay on the receiving device. For a layman, this is really the easier way I know how to do so.
The feature to setup more than two speakers in premium version doesn't work. When i try to contact team to help me with this issue nobody answer. I don't recommend to buy premium. Free version works fine for the tasks it offers.
setup is easy, but we got a delay that made it better to use just one phone. we could fiddle with the settings to sync it of course, but the whole point of using a dedicated app is to make the process automatic. ideally, we'd just put the phones together, press a button and have perfect sync. the app could use the microphone of the phones to sync them. so i have to uninstall. basically, it's exactly what i was looking for, except for the part where it should "work automagically"
