DO NOT install the app. If there's a problem, they just tell you to not use the app and to use Chrome browser. They don't give a timeline on if the problem in the app will ever be fixed- they just keep repeating that you should use Chrome browser. It's extremely disappointing. I used to LOVE this app. I was using the app for almost a year then started experiencing problems after an update and all they'd keep repeating is to use Chrome browser.
Once I'm in the studio I'm literally in the studio. I can't exit the studio or nothing it won't even let me tap on the exit studio tab in the corner. I have to open my browser in order to use this app. It's not a bad app and I love it I've made many beats using sound trap but please fix this issue
App has been rendered useless. It opens zoomed in almost like it's a desktop site. Can't move the screen around. Something has gone very wrong. Was using this for an assignment. Lots of other people have found the same. Needs to be fixed ASAP
Very useful I just found out since a lot of midi keyboards are geared towards iOS devices and windows.. I have an older Samsung phone that seems to have a connection problem but my newer one seems to work better with it just needed a USB to see converter for my digital piano I haven't tried it on my Chromebook yet 👍
What is the point of including midi instruments if you cannot even access a piano roll? This is like the most basic stuff. Essentially unusable. Why have an option to import midis on the app IF ITS EXCLUSIVE TO DESKTOP? This is like the most basic UI stuff. Don't bother with this app, it's essentially unusable unless you plan on using the desktop version.
It's just impossible to use. It glitches, closes out, nothing is centred but you can't move the screen around. Try hitting back and it just closes the whole app and erases everything. Glad I didn't try the paid version.
On the surface it provides promise. Many features and an extensive library. Let down massively by its difficulty of use. Simple things like incorrect implementation of the back button, inability to select loops and edit easily. Missing features available on Apple products. Cmon Spotify! Us Androiders can make music as well you know!! How about polishing this up like you have for PC and iOS users??
It's ok but needs alot of work and more options. First it needs to have a way better navigation system for finding sounds. Second it needs a direct to Spotify option. There should be no reason to use any middle man apps. Third it needs a direct share to Facebook and other social media. The app forces you to use too many other apps and nonsense operations to share a music file. If I were to pay for premium I'd expect these features as a bare minimum.
You may as well be better off making a car company. I'm just trying to make a song and I have a choir part, I'm try to have it all in the same order but NOOO! I can't because it's a sign of danger to music. I swear I just want to make a choir for a song with it all being synced up together. I gave it three stars since it is a minor issue, and I am making good music still. But I just hope I don't accidentally break the protection on my phone case again because of this.
Awesome, I didn't expect much at first seeing it's rating but I am so surprised pleasantly. It's amazing and infact the best one among all the free music maker apps I've tried on Android. And one of the best thing is the super easy and user friendly interface and the clean positive vibe it's UI gives.
I love to make music on the app but it is so infuriating when you can't even move a sound over to adjust it because the sound adjustments will move along with it and not allow you to move your sound. So frustrating and tedious.
I really enjoy this app and theres tons of potential in it, but half of the time the instruments are cropped half way off of my screen rendering them unuseable, which shouldnt be an issue considering my phone is the size of a small tablet.
I love using the site on my laptop, but on my cell it's just too cramped and scrolling doesn't work for some reason. Plus, sometimes my phone just doesn't have the memory space for it to work. I like it, but I'm disappointed too. Step it up, Spotify. And to my fellow musicians: good luck out there!
Soundtrap is good way for beginners to get started in seeing if they want to or are creative enough to make music and you don't have to pay $100 for some program to find that out however the app isn't the best I mainly use the app on the go if i have a melody idea and I press record and get it on paper then when I get home I get on my computer to edit the sound and organize it, I do wish I could edit on my phone but there is a good chance that our phones aren't powerful enough
Stick to the website on PC. This is a poorly designed app. For a start.. it opens to a song.. what song? Nowhere does it tell you what it is. You have to exit but that brings you to new projects.. I don't want that so I hit X. Oh! That exits the app.. so go back to the app, to the unknown song and open side menu to get to song list. What!? 😔😡😡😡😡🥺
This app is a really good app for music. The problem is I can't export the music I made to my files. It needs me to pay. I take away 4 stars because what's the point of having an app that only creates music but can't export the music to your files.
This has a ton of potential but there are issues that have been inexcusable. Randomly not being able to download songs, edits just not saving, exporting files in their original form despite them being clearly different in the studio.
Completely honest here, the app is good, it's just that the paywalls are ridiculous. Want to add sax? Well, youll have to pay money. Want bass? CASH. I get that they need to make money, but honestly... if you want to make music profesionally, you would use another app. To me, this app is more like messing around with sounds rather than making music for a living. At least give spotify premium users premium or something, and more people wpuld use the app.
The concept is cool and if it worked it'd be 5 stars. But the audio only works a quarter of the time and half the shıt I try to do doesn't even save.
This app is so bad now, the samples are really good but they removed stuff from editing/making music which made it 10x worse, please re add those simple features or else this app is basically unusable.
Best music Creator out there I'd say. It's free (besides premium) and I can make a lot more sounds than some other apps that have to be in a certain beat. Which is annoying. You can also add sounds from the free sounds tab which is why I'd say this one's the best. Because not only can I make music on here, I can also make sfx.
