Sous-vide remote for ANOVA
It is NOT an official app from Anova!
It controls temperatures and temperature units, starts and stops the cooker, sets calibration factor, sets multi-step program and even changes color of the wheel. You can set timer on Cooker as well as timer on the phone. It estimates heating time, and plots temperature history and heating time estimates. It also provides "hacker interface" to send any command to the device and read the response.
It doesn't provide food recipes or calculations for correct times and temperatures. It just provides comprehensive control for the device.

Pixel 2 XL running Android Pie. lots of stuff doesnt work anymore, app definitely needs an update.
Can connect to other devises but unable to con ect with this. Connects for 1 second then disconnects. Still working on solution.
Old app, doesn't work with newer devices. Worked great with my previous phone.
Would not connect Bluetooth with any pin used and needed update but nothing was available.
Unfortunatley i have updated my Samsung and now the app will not connect to bluetooth... is there an update or some other way of controlling my sous vide ??

This is NOT an Anova product and does not work with my Anova Pro.
This app is a scam.
The main reason I bought this app was for the multi-step programming ability. Unfortunately that feature does not work properly. Setting a program makes the numbers change to some random defaults, so you don't actually know the parameters that are programmed. The temp never actually gets to even the 1st stage set, but hovers 0.6F below. Hence the program never proceeds to the next stage because the 1st stage hasn't been met. Not sure why this happens since in dumb mode, it does reach target temp.
FANTASTIC. The way the Anova app SHOULD have been written. Works immediately. None of that mess with the anova app not connecting, no stupid Bluetooth PIN roadblock, no indecipherable layout or misleading language. IT. JUST. WORKS. BRAVO. Well worth the two bucks.
