South Carolina WIC
WIC is a federally funded program that provides healthy supplemental foods and nutrition counseling for pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children under age five. The program has an extraordinary 35-year record of preventing children's health problems and improving their long-term health, growth and development. WIC serves over 9.1 million women, infants and children through over 10,000 clinics nationwide.
The South Carolina WIC Mobile App will give WIC participants the opportunity to view upcoming appointments, view food benefits that have been issued to them in the clinic, scan UPCs while shopping at the store to see if the UPC is a WIC Approved item or not, and provide information on locations of WIC Stores and WIC Clinics across the State of South Carolina.
The goal of the South Carolina WIC Mobile App is to give participants all the information they need at their fingertips to make their shopping experience fun and easy.

The app doesn't always work. It freezes up and won't open sometimes. Need to get this fixed. Other than that it's helpful to know what items are WIC approved.
This app does not work correctly anymore! You use to be able scroll down to see everything when I first downloaded the app, whenever they changed over to card. I kinda found a way to scroll, but you have to hold down a finger and highlight while scrolling down but even that only goes down so far. Glad I'm not the only one having this problem though! Really hope they fix it!
So ever since I had this app it's been very buggy and just not user friendly. There is no ability to scroll to see benefits. Sometimes it would show benefits that aren't there. Well I opened it up today and was surprised to see a completely different interface and look. I immediately went to try and scroll to see approved foods and it works! Thank you!
useful when it works right. It sometime freezes doesn't scroll so allowed items can be seen. The first time this happened i thought his benefits had been changed so i chose from the items that were on the page i could see. Some wasted benefits needless to say, he didn't like the items i had to pick from. Disabled vet. income is less than 500 a month. Ive served/worked most of my life for the allowance i have earned for him. App needs to be rock solid. Same issue after reinstalling the app.
Very convenient and helpful app, when it worked correctly. For the past several months, for some reason the lists of accepted items will NOT scroll down. So if you don't get the exact same items every month, it's a guessing game as to what's approved. Please fix.
Definitely love this app. So easy to use and I'm able to keep track of how much wic I have left as well as my appts
This app will charge my debit card, I've even gone to the extent of separating my WIC items and it still reduces my quantity but doesn't allow me to "buy" it. Poof, gone. I prefer going back to paper vouchers, at least I know what I would be getting. Customer service is no help he just told me to go to a different store. I just recently reinstalled the app just for the sake of the kids.
This app is easy to use and allows me to see everything on one screen. The only problem i have is when i go to make sure a product is on wic i cant see all of the images or the different choices in cereal that i can get.
When I first got the app, everything worked fine, but since a few months ago I have only been able to see a portion of the list of accepted items. It's very frustrating. Also, fresh items that should be storied are not. Hopefully this is resolved soon.
Used to let you scroll to see your options and I hoped they'd fix it when it stopped but it still doesn't. Still helps to see how much you have instead of going by receipts and you can still scan items to see if they're wic approved but if your camera doesn't work and you're new to wic you'd be screwed.
Not able to see my list of things im able to buy under each section in the wic app. It sucks and has been going on for months now and has not been fixed. Nothing on the app will scroll up and down at all to see everything like it should. I don't understand what happened to this app. Please get it fixed!!
The pages do not scroll, so you can see acceptable items. I've deleted the app and downloaded it again several, but that never fixes the problem. Fix this please!
This app is useful in that I have an easy and convenient place to see most items regarding my WIC. It could use some modernization, but overall it does it's job! Suggested.

After I was able to download after the 8th try, it wont even let me register....keeps saying wrong WIC info which I clearly put the right info. Its pissing me off that WIC pushed us to do these cards which are 10x more convenient but the fact that it doesnt even work.... its bull****

This app suck they need another app or just cancel this app all at once...it's only good for you to see what you have left after spending. Like other people have been saying you can't scroll down to see all your options so whats the point 🙄.
The last update stopped us from being able to scroll down to see our benefits. I have uninstalled the app,reinstalled it,called customer service and still no fix. THIS IS OUR ONLY WAY OF SHOWING GROCERY STORES WHAT WE ARR ALLOWED TO GET. PLEASE FIX IT.
I can't see the full list of acceptable & unacceptable items anymore. I thought it would be fixed by now but it still isn't. Good idea to have an app, it just should work properly.
This app used to be so amazing. Up until recently. I haven't been able to scroll to see any of my new benefits which is very frustrating! I really would appreciate this being fixed please!
The app was almost useless on my device for over a year. This new update is much appreciated and brought back all the functionality. Thank you.
Ever since the last update, the list of approved items is not working. I cannot scroll down the page to see all of the approved items. It is very frustrating
Won't allow you to see all your options and items, won't scan or give you local stores. Just terrible..
It doest work at all, It asked for your birthday, but then doesn't allow you to put the year you were born. So, of course your information is not correct, so it doesn't work.
I can no longer view my benefits on this app was working great at first. But now it keeps saying no benefits available. I havent missed a class or anything. So I know i still have wic. But for some reason it now shows no benefits so idk what i can get bc I cannot view my benefits I'm glad to know other r having same issue as well. Plz correct this issue thx. I need to be able to view my benefits to get what I need for my 2 yr old son. And cant. It seemed to start showing no benefits after virus
I have wic all my info they gave me in office downloaded this app and still cant tell what i have on my card and have a hard time knowing what im able to get i get what i think i can get an at check out have to put most of it back because it was the wrong thing.
I use my app all the time. Never have any issues using it logging in or see in my benefits (past/present/future).
Good overall. Lately, my benefits are not appearing in my app. It's blank when clicking the current benefits and makes it very difficult to shop. I'm an android user. This is so inconvenient.
