Southeastern On Track

Really nicely designed app that SHOULD be perfect for what I need. However, quite a few of the features don't appear to work. Although I'm able to easily buy my tickets through it, it appears impossible to load them onto your smart card as adventised. Also, the dashboard seems pretty useless with the favourite station feature not working as well as twitter and service updates just showing a blank screen. It's a real shame because if Southeastern got it working, it would be the ideal app.

EDIT : app isn't loading! I think this is one of my most favourite apps. It is functional, clear, good fonts, allows to save fav stations and routes (though I'd like to be able to save more than 3 routes) etc. I use it for all my train planning, also outside the SE. My only caveat is that that it does not accurately display delayed trains and, second, that it does not display trains that are still to leave bec they're delayed. I've missed trains various times bec it shows that the train is gone.

Since last update has stopped working. Can we roll back to version before. When I click departures or arrivals the circle just keep spinning without loading anything. Journey planned does still work though. Please fix. After years of happy effective use gonna have to bin this app now. Clicking on departures or arrivals does not work. It just attempts to load the circle spins but no results ever appear. Bye bye Southeastern

Always a hassle, doesn't load tickets on the keycard. Gives only the option to collect from station. Badly developed app. During Covid you would think being able to buy it online, load it on the keycard so you don't have to interface at the station with high touch areas which a ticket machine is would be enough reason to keep this app bug free.

Key card loading feature DOESN'T WORK. Tried last week with a season ticket and it seemed to be because I didn't buy it in the app. This week I bought the ticket on the app and though its in my wallet, it won't load onto my Key card. When purchasing it clearly states choose a stain or load it on via the app, but the app doesn't work. Pointless waste of time.

Used to work perfectly, now useless at getting arrival and departure times at set stations. Thought it was the remote end but clearly not as National Rail app pulls this information fine. Thameslink app is equally as useless as well but that's pretty much an identical app. with different look. Whatever has been done to make this app useless needs to be reversed or it needs fixing.

- no option to turn off the app after use? you have to "force stop" - after ticket purchase was no confirmation email sent. As result if you loose access to app you loose the colection reference - the colection reference is pushing safety a bit too far. Considering you still need the pay'nt card, the random combination of numbers and letters is too long to be easy typed (on a non qwerty keyboard of all! last consistent use i can remember was primary scool) use numbers only?

Stick to paper tickets instead of loading tickets to the Key with this app!! Not worth the hassle and worry. Works only sometimes but had multiple occasions online bought tickets won't load to The Key after several attempts including restarting phone, reinstalling app, switching NFC setting on/off/on. Despite explaining issue and showing receipt then treated like a fare dodger by southeastern ticket barrier supervisor because ticket couldn't be loaded.

It won't let me add a ticket to SEs "key" contactless card. I have had to buy 3 tickets then get refunds before giving up and collecting tickets from station...which I couldn't though the app says use any of your credit cards to confirm you actually have to use the one you paid with - I have 1 for online pays, I don't carry with me. So I used ticket machine!! Sum It doesn't work with their contactless "key". Don't believe instruction on the app. Also, it doesn't give cheapest journey outside SE

Useful app that works well. I check it each morning before leaving for the station as it's great for warning about delays and cancellations. Only issue is Android reports it keeps running in the background and i have to manually force close it to prevent battery drain.

Claims to be able to load your season ticket onto your key card, but doesn't. I can see the ticket under "ticket wallet" but tapping the card to load it always results in a message saying "no tickets found". Tried to give this feedback inside the feedback section of the app but that didn't work either as the email address it uses doesn't exist so leaving it here in public.

Never works just keeps swirling around when trying to locate a time when a train is due, then if you change the time to search it works. I wouldn't rely on it, It has serious bugs and no updates to improve them. Worst app ever.

App no longer allows you to buy tickets for your keycard which is utterly infuriating and renders the app virtually pointless. Even more ridiculous given the current climate where it's even more important to be able to do things digitally and contactless. You're letting your users down SE...!

I can't use the app. Whenever I try to plan a journey the app crashes after I have picked both stations and have to click the 'via' box. Really annoying as it could be so helpful.

The app locks up often when searching for station departures and arrivals. The only way to fix it is to uninstall and then reinstall. This is a pain as I need to rebuild my favourites from scratch. Otherwise it is good.

Doesn't load train details anymore. Makes it a bit pointless. Edit... doesn't work at all and the information provided is incorrect. The email address provided for feedback is not valid. Useless app. So I suppose the app is apt! Zero stars

I use the app to check train times. But it seems to have gone from running in the background and needing a force close to closing as soon as its opened now. Making it useless. Really annoying.

doesn't always show cheapest tickets eg Sittingbourne to Exeter via Honiton it ignores via Honiton and only gives tickets via Reading (30% more). For many longer journeys eg Sittingbourne to Weymouth it offers a single and says add a return singke for £0.00. If you do that the final "continue" is greyed out leaving a return (nearly 4 times the price) as the only option to buy

It is good app, does what it needs to do. Simple and easy to use. The only issue is that I have to kill it manually all the time. Android complains it is still running after I close it and I have to click on force stop to really make it stop.

awesome app, but with one annoying bit : android shows warning about application doing work in background. You can't swipe it, only force stop the app. swiping application away in launcher does not help too.

Useless. The dashboard loads ok but the departures and arrivals doesn't. I've tried reinstalling and flushing the cache but I just get a never spinning page loading symbol. It's been like this for months so I'm removing now.

I wouldn't use this app to buy single tickets regularly as it's not very user friendly. However, it's great for buying season tickets and uploading them onto your Key Card. I don't know why so many people are complaing about this, it works perfectly well on my Huawei P20 Pro.

Broken - the app crashes repeatedly when trying to reopen from the background (and can't be force closed when I'm done with it) and blocks my phone's NFC payment system when it is running.

I did buy my weekly travelcard online tru the app and then load it to my key card, few times gave me an error but i read an review with a good advice to position corectly the card behind phone and keep it there longer and worked just fine. Very happy with app and key card, no more hustle at train station.😀

Apalling app cannot load onto keycard. Purchase tickets through app try to load onto keycard always error cm not present. Try loading at station doesn't appear.even customer service support know its rubbish. Just buy online and pick up paper ticket at station. Come on southeastern sort out loading tickets onto the Key

Incredible app but there is a constant "running in the background" notification in the task bar so I have to continuously close this. Please fix this and it's a 5 star review.

App update released two days ago for minor bug fixes but the main bugs are STILL THERE! Tube Status still stuck after months. Still no Twitter update etc. Dev refuses to reply to emails.

Functions well but doesnt close correctly and drain the battery in the background. Been like it for months.
