Southside Bank

Dumb ho3s at the bank. My statements are literally always pending for 2 days. No matter what. I would blame businesses but this bank sure knows how to keep a hold on you so you don't leave them. Just go to chime y'all. Also Southside has so much money to build beautiful buildings but can't notify you of transactions with out you downloading another app. Lousy and cheap.

This app is awful. If you are relying on this for viewing your bank statement, balancing your account, keeping up with automatic drafts, deposits, possible fraudulent activity, etc..you will be disappointed! It's been nearly two weeks since I have been able to log on. While the customer service rep was courteous and offered to confirm balance and transactions on my account and gave a follow up call on Christmas eve, still I am not able to log into my acct. Wish I hadn't gone paperless!

Once again, app will not upgrade. I have uninstalled and rebooted, nothing works. Very irritating. I have to upgrade my review - after uninstalling and reinstalling several times and then rebooting my android, the app is once again working well - but I do wish companies would not feel the need to update when its working fine, since we, of a certain age, cannot upgrade our brains that often.

Every time I use SS's app, I have to reset my password by going to the bank or calling for assistance. I DON'T have time for this, and it's VERY frustrating, annoying, and time consuming!! Your app no longer allows me access on my phone, although I use the same username/password on my tablet, and NOW I can't access the app on my tablet. There is NOTHING to "update". I already did that previously and now have no access at all. Do something about it; this is ridiculous!!

Seems I'm having the same problem as others. Worked great til a few weeks ago... now just says loading and never loads. I asked about it at the branch I use and was told it was fixed on other devices but that the Galaxy Note 9 (which is what I have) still has glitch and they are working on it. I don't understand cause I've had this device for months and it worked before. Seems that some update caused the problem and they should just reverse the update...

I am having the same problems with this new upgrade. I deleted the old app and cannot install the new version. It say I am not associated with this device. Horrible. I have been using this mobile app since it first came out without any trouble. Now. I ZZcan't get it installed. Hate. Hate, hate this. Tell me how to to fix this now. I need to psy my Bill's. I have it on my ipad so why can I not get it on my android phone?

Very easy to use and has been great. Now I tried several times to log in and it won't let me. I can on my computer though. So I tried again, still nothing. I jumped on wifi and was able to log in. I've never had to do this before. So to check it out, I got off wifi and tried to log in. Got the error once again. Please get this corrected. I have an android so I'm not usually on wifi.

Really easy to access. Doesn't take a lot of space, can have multiple accoubts accessable. Not really sure how to set up warning for large withdrawals but that's probably an option too

The camera function for mobile deposit no longer works. I've uninstalled and reinstalled app, still no luck. Update....uninstalled once more and upon reinstalling it updated permissions. Appears to be working just fine now. Thanx!

I have had zero issues with South Side Bank, but the app is completely different story. The app while reasonably simple enough to navigate and use, is constantly broke, being updated and has developed a bad habit of locking me out, a problem that is resolved by calling the bank or by calling tech support...which is closed on the weekends...tell me what is the point of having an after hours tech support team when they arent open when the bank isnt open

App has been hanging on login for several weeks now on my S9+. The only fix is delete app and reinstall. It then will work for 1 or 2 logins. I have used this app for several years with no problems till recently

Not usable since the November 2018 update. This is a big deal, as customers require a functional banking app, yet doesn't seem to be getting any attention from SSB. Now working normally again after a mid January 2019 update.

Perfectly fine app, but it will load infinitely at the login screen. What I've found to bypass the loading is to force stop the app, clear cache, and go back into it. (Make sure the app is closed before going back into it.)

The prior update ruined this app. It was excellent before; now, it's a waste of memory on my phone. You aren't able to sign in the app...it just....loads...........and.....................loads.........and....loa............ 8 days later, 12-31-18 and it is still not working. One email from Southside asking if the app was still not letting me log in. Answer is no...again.

This app is overall great, does everything you might need it to do for banking on the fly. The only problem I have right now is that I can't connect to my account due to some network connectivity error. This has persisted for several days now.

This app wotks exactly as I had hoped it would. Never had any issue or problem, plus my bank can alert me to anything they may view as out of the norm - and this has twice saved me from unauthorized charges. Very pleased with the bank and the app.

The bank forces an update on your app, then the app wont load. A whole day after deleting the old app, not being able to update it vs deleting, then the new update app says pending forever time after time all day long. Repetitive cancellations of the install and try again, same "pending" note vs installing. Who puts out a mandatory update and their update wont load more less tell you where the issue is?

horrible app! never lets me log in, hardly ever accurate balancee and doesn't update purchases even when the bank has it accurately. just awful. I've had other bank apps..this bank overall is terrible.moving to another bank soon just to have a half decent way to check my account!

if I could rate less than 1, I would. this is absolutely ridiculous. I have to uninstall and reinstall just to check my balance. It's days behind, and it's annoying when this is supposed to make banking easier. it's a lie, this is a sham, and it needs to be fixed. ASAP

Besides being the overall BEST bank, they have the easiest app to use. Simple to understand, simple to use, and yet simply the most complete. I love it!

Terrible. Bill Pay does not get discounted from account when you send so you never know current balance. Nothing gets paid in 1 day as with Chase Bank. Bill Pay often takes 5 days and delivery of printed check so the service isn't really electronic in a very fast- paced, electronic world. Southside Bank you should be ashamed and catch up w 21st century technology!!!!!!

Fails to open on my Samsung Tablet S3. Worked about a week ago. Still works on my older Samsung phone. Uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, cleared the data and cache. Didn't help. Java error persists.

This app used to work perfectly but for several weeks now it will not open. The iPhone version works just fine. Please fix! A work around from another review: force stop, clear cache and reopen. Works!

There is something wrong with this app. I get a notice my checking statement is ready but when I try to bring it up, I get my savings statement. I can only get it to come up by using options on the savings page.
