100% Love the game. I would say it's a masterpiece. Simple controls, immersive experience. A+B and LR. It has a story that draws you in by showing, not telling. The art style is retro and absolutely gorgeous. thanks for the work that was put in this game. can't wait for the rest of the story. hope to see more environmental interactivity. Having less ads would be great but that may be asking too much. Cheers.
Its a beautiful amazing game and I love everything about it.and where its going! however, whenever the ads do come up, it doesn't allow you to skip the ad and continue with the adventure, it ruins the mood and the feeling and emerse you feel in the game. sorry, but I can't play the game normally and the way I want to without ads always coming up and I have to wait for them to go
Good gameplay. Scenes are dark and gloomy and create a lot of suspense. It features various and interesting game mechanics that add to the tension. A downside is that the story is too short. I completed the whole game in an hour but I expected much more of the story to unfold. Anyway it says "to be continued". Keep the good work guys. It's an excellent game.
I love the graphics, the gameplay is okay but the controls feel unnatural.I always seemed to do the exact opposite of what I'm trying to do because of the way the controls are set up. Also the ads ruined the game so Lucky Patcher was the only way to make it tolerable. I had fun with it for about a half hour before I uninstalled because I could see that the difficulty was ramping up too quickly with controls that are absolutely not up to the task.
I want to love it but the ADs really kill this game. Legit anytime you die or anytime you even just load up the game theres a 30 second Ad. I really do understand that in free games there's ads but not this frequent. At the very least make some of them skippable. The game itself is gorgeous, the controls feel great, and it really draws you in. That is until you get blasted with multiple 30 second Ads to sit through, at that point it lost my interest. I sat through about 4 before I was done.
Space Expedition is a fun little arcade platform where you try to escape an infested space facility. Seems simple, right? The game’s controls are simple: left, right, jump, interact and use. The graphics are also very beautiful: The effects and hi-bit graphics are among the best I’ve seen in a mobile game. There cool twists to some levels, like rising lava, water, a horde of arachnid aliens, and a railway platform that the player must ride. The level design and story are a bit uninspired though.
The game is quite short and easy but really cool. The graphs and ambiance are amazing. I read on the reviews People were having problems with ads but I played without wifi/4g connection and had no problems at all. I hope they release the sequel quickly. I was able to finish it before one hour gameplay. Still nice though
This game is in a word, phenomenal. The game incorporates so many different elements that it makes every level a fun and unique experience. The difficulty of the game can be frustrating at times, but solving a puzzle will bring you lots of satisfaction. The game's storyline is deep and impactful, with each level having a unique theme. The dark lighting is sure to keep you on your toes, not knowing what would happen next. Overall, a great, engaging and immersive game.
This game is exactly what I want from the playstore. a short, immersive and old school story yet unique in it's own way. I love the edition of having a choice at the end and discovering green crystals. Yes, there are ads, but I may have fixed that by turning off my Wi-Fi. This game deserves a sequel, no doubt about it.
Like other reviews on here, the ads completely interrupt your game and will not let you get out of them. It would take too long to complete the game of we're stuck having to look at ads every 10 minutes. Other than that, it was an interesting game with beautiful art and graphics!
I really liked the game, the story was intriguing enough to keep me wanting a little more but the game as a whole was too short just about 45mins long and if it wasn't for collecting the crystals it'd have been much shorter. Love the feel of game and it's looks and can't wait for the sequel.
Absolute banger of a game. If you're looking for a really good platformer pixel art game, then this is for you, baby. Frickin' loved it. Thank you Mobirate. Also I expect a sequel because it said "To be continued" at the end. No problems at all. Runs on low end phones smoothly. All the elements of a great mobile platformer.
The art is great, the atmosphere is great, but the actual "game" is underwhelming. Its very linear, so there is no real puzzle aspect to it. Despite that, the game feels incredibly slow. Your character barely moves, which doesn't help what they're going for. One other problem is that you can die at random. Things can incinerate you without warning, coming from any direction, while traps lie at every corner without a sign. It turns into a slow memorization game rather than an exiting platformer.
There are so many terrible games on Playstore, some are even faulty & don't even work. Some even require network connection. But this game is well put together & guarenteed to give hours of fun. A tricky puzzle advemture. Pity there's only nine levels, but very challenging. The end is a bit of a let down, cause my character is left behind to fight off the spiders.
Short but sweet! An easy 8/10. I was disappointed with platformers on mobile lately because most of them try to focus too much on combat and seem to have jumping and platforming just for the sake of being called a platformer. But this game is a nice refreshment! Without any combat on your part, this game focuses solely on the pure high stakes platforming and problem solving. Congrats to the Dev for this piece of art. Speaking of art, this game also look stunning especially on oled displays.
This is a great game. I just finished my second play. Reminds me a lot of Flashback. However, like a lot of these little platformers, you need responses faster than what the onscreen controls allow. I often have to look at my hands and not the screen.
The game says that it's best played with headphones. But, the sound is so low that I have to turn it up high and when an ad starts playing, my eardrums almost rupture! Please fix this! Also, add Google Play Achievements. The game itself is easy and boring.
It was ok but whenever i die or restart the misson a ad pops up which is very annoying, a few years later, and update: this game was great and the ads were annoying but that okay because of how good the game was, it was fun and entertaining 👍 I'm planning to play it again soon
This is a good game. Although everything is 10/10 there is one thing that bugs me. The disaster timer. When the mutant spider chased me it was catching up on me even though i was ahead of it. I had to do it 20 times to win. The same with the raising lava. I will give 4 stars unless the disaster timer is made longer. (No hard feelings just a lil bit mad)
I like the game controls are simple and you get use to them easy the gamplay sometimes give you an anxious experience and it is awsome for a pixeleted game and the sory is subtile it does not get in the way of your gameplay but is there and you can feel its prezence .Good game five stars from me ,i wish there would be more games like this especialy about space, maybe you can make a second one to continue this one.
It's a pretty good game, there's just too many ads in the most inconvenient places I can understand an ad inbetween every level, and maybe even an ad while loading the game up, but it's so annoying to die, respawn, get ready to better yourself, only to be immediately interrupted with an ad
The game is fun, but every 2 times I die or pass a level, I get a 30 second ad, which is very annoying. It makes me not really want to play this. Oh yeah. And I Can't Skip The Ads, so yes I should just uninstall this right now.
I dont know how to put this lightly, so I'll just say it... the controls are awful, especially since I tend to miss when i attempt to walk, the ads are even worse and extremely inconvenient, i dont mind ads but when there as frequent as this it's just not worth my time... this game us fun... but those two inconveniences has lead me to dislike Space Expedition.
Overall a great game and after being on and off with it over the years I really enjoy it. One minor suggestion I have is could there possibly be a co-op mode with a slightly larger campaign or maybe just some collectables or something. Keep up the great work, I really do enjoy playing from time to time seeing how fast I can get through the game.
