spacedesk (remote display)

The app is awesome, better than any similar apps ATM. There's a roadmap for developer, which i see is making features and a paid version, awesome. USB tethering is my only best connection but what bothering me is everytime i connect, my PC always getting a new local area network name, I think this one need a saved device feature to keep on. And i don't know tech or may be dreaming, but can we get more/maximize performance/low latency/higher framerate with just by USB 2? I'm looking forward.

I'm really excited for the future of this app! It has great potential and I greatly enjoy it. However it has its glitches and lags. Is not very smooth when connecting multiple displays. I am open to suggestions to resolve issue.

Used it with Windows 7/32 with Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus with Android 11. After driver install (the one for Win 8) and restart I got a Blue Screen but the next Windows start didn't have this problem anymore. Worked great. The only problem I had was that the screen rotation on the tablet didn't work. In my case it was upside-down. Changed this with an app that enforces every screen rotation. Could not simply turn around the tablet because of other reasons.

Simple and easy to use, mouse functionality works as expected with options of trackpad and touchscreen, and keyboard is functional, as you'd expect. However, I'd recommend adding a click button, so you'd therefore be able to click without accidentally moving the mouse, and another button for right clicks would be very neat as well. The menu button should have an option to switch from trackpad and touchscreen so you don't need to disconnect in order to switch. I highly recommend this app overall.

With the recent update there is a keyboard icon button that cannot be removed so it is always on the screen. Please remove this or allow us to disable! It's like a watermark that is always there. Thanks Update: The keyboard icon does show up even after disabling in input settings, but it seems to be inconsistent. Thank you for the help! Update 2: Now a three line button is covering the screens and even minimizing doesn't fully remove it. Update 3: Dev fixed and responded fast. Thank you!!

I have a tablet that I now started to solely use as a second screen for my PC. The only thing that's missing is the ability to automatically turn the screen off when it starts to receive no display output then turns screen back on when it receives an output signal. This would be a great addition especially for me because my tablet has a broken power button.

This used to be a great five star software until the last update. Now I am having a lot of issues: 1. Connected but display off 2. Once connected, it's too laggy that it become unusable 3. In the previous version, connection issue only affects the client displays. Now, the main display is also affected 4. Why is the display server available to download only the BETA version? users need the stable one

Very laggy on my phone when connected. Also my mouse is very laggy when moving any windows around and also screen takes 5 seconds to connect to my phone. It dims my laptop screen every time I connect and disconnect. Before you write about your performance tuning just know that I already tried it, usb tethering on with the phones original usb cable connected and still was the same result.

Pretty laggy, even with USB tethering. Update: Connecting through hotspot definitely made it better, but still kinda laggy, specially when watching yt videos or being in a call but its ok.

I don't cast my phone to big screen but from Windows to phone to work due to my eyes condition, it is smooth, no lag compared to a previous app I have tried! Thank you for the app!

It's great and I was so excited when u found out abt this. But the thing is that it's so laggy sometimes. Please fix it ❤️

Great app. But sometimes the mouse will go wonky after my Android tablet wakes up from sleep mode. Need to disconnect and reconnect again. Other than that, is there any chance for the developer to redesign the app icon to something more modern and sleek?

Tried it just now with my pixelbook and it works perfect on window 11. Some lag on the writing but understandable. 100% compatible.

simple to use, speed is fine. save me money. as I can use my Samsung tablet for extended display during programming and reading documentation and comparisons of coding

Very fast response (If you use USB Tethering), works like a charm with Spen, supports the touch sensitivity, just perfect👌

This app is insufferable. It worked once and then decided to never work again. Absolutely useless . . .edit I tried all those already and nothing is working. It worked once and never again. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both the app and the drivers and it all it does is send over and error code

It'a awesome... got to fix their audio problems, but most people use it for video so yes... it is awesome.

It's very good! Works flawlessly to play PC visual novels on my phone. I prefer lying down while playing it.

Incorrect mouse pointer in VirtualBox makes the app useless. Poor response and no duplicate display.

I was using it put then it broke and now when I tried to connect my pc to my phone it did not showed up, it just said "display off"
