Spaceship Battles

It's pay to win; and a bit boring after a while... It seems the only options are to lose every battle or pay to have a nice ship and win every battle. When you lose a battle you can't play for 10 minutes, unless you pay to have several ships available... Content wise, the graphics are cool, some aspects are well though out.

Great game, very detailed and complete. That said the matchmaking arena isn't balanced enough. I mean that when playing the most powerful ship of a class you will fall against enemies that are on the lower end of the next (more powerful) class. That is normal but for now you still get wrecked by those 3/4 of the time which is a wee bit discouraging.

This is my new favorite game. Beautiful graphics, solid mechanics, interesting enough to keep you coming back, and just grindy enough to keep you from blazing through it. Game balance seems finely tuned. My only complaints are these: 1.) Sounds effects and music should have separate mute functions, not all or nothing, and 2.) I really think you should be able to sell unwanted ships out of your hangar, not just overwrite them with new purchases and lose all that money that was invested.

The game is great. The prices are a joke and the matchmaking is a nightmare. Edit: I've hit the limit for progression and my ship gets shredded like paper. It is genuinely impossible to have a good enough build to beat more than 10% of the enemies you face. The in game transactions are unbelievable for some data on your phone. Remember kids, games aren't an investment. I've had to readjust my review as this is absolutely ridiculous.

In this game you choose what parts to use on your ship and where they go. There are endless options and I'm constantly tweaking my ship here and there to optimize my strength. The battle itself is hands free: you watch your ship fight the enemy without controlling it. This mechanic actually makes it a lot like watching a battlebots fight. This game is lots of fun, might not be for everyone but I love it. My only complaint is that items start costing way too much money not very far into the game.

The concept of this game is quite awesome, but the execution is sub-par. Being able to build your own ships, upgrade and research both the ship and modules is cool until you play the battles. The ONE and ONLY thing that completely ruins this game is the fact that you can't control YOUR ships, AT ALL. Such as where they go, when they warp, where they shoot, and when to back off and heal, there is none of that. So all that preparation just gets torn when the AI does dumb stuff. Please fix this.

A fun game to play, building the ships to counter other people's is kinda fun, and a major part of the game. But expect to pay at least $5 for a decent ship in order to play. This game is not free. I ranked up to 900 with about 16 hours of gameplay, but now I'm stuck fighting opponents with massively powerful ships. In the span of 10 rank points I was fighting frigates and then supwrcarriers. I literally cannot progress anymore because I can't beat most ships to get XP to level up.

The game is good. I enjoy playing it. I don't enjoy the really dumb quests that it wants me to complete. Quests are supposed to either tell how to play the game or to mark you progress in the game. To tell me to get wins with three missle turrets shows that whoever wrote the quests has a complete lack of understanding about the game. So here I am racking up losses hoping someone doesn't have a shield, which everyone does at the level they give you this quest.

This game has the potential to be great, but the lack of things to do while you wait for your ship to repair is annoying. I just want to play. Make a free play mode that just let's you fight whatever with your ships and only grants a small xp boost Or just allow you to replay campaign missions with reduced rewards. Something. Also you really have to pay some money to get anywhere and even when you do at a certain point you max out and then it becomes a slog waiting day by day for little reward.

I like the game, but it quickly becomes very expense. Can't blame the devs for wanting to make $, but expect to pay $20-50 USD if you want to be competitive. Plus if you don't buy more hangers you lose the ship that's being replaced and have to repurchase it. It all comes off as a bit greedy. Still if you don't care about cost it can be fun.

It's a fun game until you hit the "pay to win" stage. You will be using tier 2 ships going up against tier 4's. You can upgrade your ship to actually stand a chance but the upgrades cost premium currency which (unless you BUY it) comes in really slowly. I've dumped about 6 hours into this game, it's ok, it kills time, but constantly going up against players who "pay to win" really takes out all the fun. At the start of every match, you're just like "ah that £15.99 ship, guess I'm losing again".

After getting to lvl 15 the game has gotten significantly harder without the intro quest rewards. It's still quite fun with testing builds and having several ways to continue playing when your flagship is repairing. Premium currency handouts drop off afterl lvl 15. Save it for hangar space so you can keep playing with other ships. The RNG of auto-fights can be frustrating at times. Overall a good time.

Fantastic game. I love the designs, the strategic idle game play style, and even the way that ads don't play if your on a losing streak. I have been playing for a few years, and am still a fan. I just wish there was a bit more world building and things we can discover about the universe of space arena.

Has potential for 5 stars. Matchmaking has to be fixed, and more activities need to be had. Pointless to have smaller ships if they're only used once a day/week. Can't get ahead if you almost always face against titans, which have either more years in or huge wallets. If you want us to help keep the lights on, give us some real incentive!

At first funny, then too repeative. Most annoying thing that ships get outdated too fast and for getting new ship you need to remove one of your old fully upgraded ships without any refund. In all games with "garage" usually player can sell or recycle old vehicle, but not here. So spend time and money to get updated ship and then just put it to trash bin. And also there is lack of events.

Quickly Becomes Garbage, fun and somewhat fair at first then RAPIDLY becomes unbalanced and unfair. 20+ games you'll get one victory if lucky since unlocks depend on levels but there is zero balancing. Once you had level 12 in a day or two good luck trying to level pass that especially when you are out gunned and the enemy has better gear. The repair mod is unholy, having games where I do zero damage but get wiped because I can't out damage that things repair capability.

The ideas for gameplay are good, but the game's balance is bad. There are big differences between f2p and p2p in same lv. And you can't slow the speed of lvl up, every battle gain exp. The matching have problems too in Class battle. I am lv 51 and haven't seen any hope in building a great ship among others in the same class. Besides that is the A.I of your ship in battle, you can't chose your style of fighting of your ship, sometimes it is stupid that made u mad. Anyway, enough for timekill.

Good fun with a surprising amount of depth. Also the number of ads is minimal and there are a number of fair ways to earn premium currency. Ranked battles being the only mode you can "grind" without cooldown does very soon become pay to win however the payoff for doing so is much less than the other modes. Ultimately a "ranked ship battle" would be a great addition for longevity and keep low level ships viable; Having a leader board per ship with only battles against the same ship.

Really fun game, very poorly done. Two stars because as soon as you hit the 3rd league (bronze one), you will lose and get demoted down a league, then win and go back up to bronze and then lose and go back down again. £15.99 for a ship on a mobile game is ridiculous and the game either has poor matchmaking algorithms or no one plays this game because I constantly get destroyed by the same 3 people (that are the same level as me but have payed the £15.99 for a ship).

This game is exactly what I look for when it comes to mobile games. It is easy to pickup but gets more complex as you progress. It explains itself well without flooding you with information. Monetization is unobtrusive and fair. Spending cash will speed up progress but not spending won't prevent progress either.
