Spaceteam

Do you like pushing buttons and shouting at your friends? Do you like discharging Clip-jawed Fluxtrunions? If you answered yes, or no, then you might have what it takes to be on a Spaceteam.
Spaceteam is a cooperative party game for 2 to 8 players who shout technobabble at each other until their ship explodes. Each player needs a mobile device (Android and Apple devices can play together over Wifi!).

You'll be assigned a random control panel with buttons, switches, sliders, and dials. You need to follow time-sensitive instructions. However, the instructions are being sent to your teammates, so you have to coordinate before the time runs out. Also, the ship is falling apart. And you're trying to outrun an exploding star.

Good luck. And remember to work together... as a Spaceteam!

So it turns out that random button mashing is auto-win. My friends and I learned this when attempting to intentionally fail to end the game so another friend could join in -- surely everyone just hitting every button as fast as possible would result in a game over? Not so! We made it to level 30 this way before we finally got bored and realized it would potentially never end if we kept it up. Still, the game is a lot of fun when played the right way, but button mashing should be penalized.

So fun! By the end my sister and I had coordinated our shouting well. One gripe: translator malfunction is too difficult to overcome - other than setting the controls, we can't understand anything else fast enough to make the right changes. I have failed at level 12 and 17 only because of the translation malfunction. Consider making it easier or removing it completely!

I loved this game with my mates in college. Excellent times. Trying it again with my two phones apple and android and it force quits after joining the game. Trying to update on android hopefully that fixes it. If not oh well it was a great run thankful for the awesome times. Edit: works epic with internet to IOS devices!!!!

Great Game it's so much it's like a spaceship built up by homer Simpson when he's drunk. Really funny game but what I like about it is it's a challenging game but funny I would really recommend this to anyone because it has no ads AT ALL! and very good prices for extra stuff like ships and space pets and what's really funny is when you get on to a specific level all the buttons go backwards and it's like what the.

Extremely addictive and fun to play with friends, however, there are connectivity issues especially if my friends and I aren't together. It would be nice to have improvements on that area, like a room code or something :)

This is a great, fast-paced game to have fun with friends. The game makes for a nice social game while hanging out at gaming spaces, conventions, etc. The basic interface and art style makes for easy pick-up and play, while allowing the later events that "break" it to feel intuitive to "fix". The humour is a mix of a wide variety of references, general colloquialisms and absurdism peppered into the "normal" controls, allowing for fun surprises without feeling overloaded.

Good news - Great app, great game, lovely premise, and so much more. (Plus the DLC isnt necessary to play, since it just adds a few extra fun modifiers and some other cosmetics.) Bad news - Won't even install anymore on my Razer Phone 2, Android 9. If the phone was dropped from the list of compatible platforms, I'd appreciate the knowledge in the patch notes. If not, then I'd appreciate a fix! Keep up the good work! Hope to rate it better soon!

An exceptional game. Crazy fun with friends. Some minor issues exist with device shakes and flips not registering consistently but often that merely adds to the chaos. I love the fact that new features are occasionally added. They always spice things up in a good way.

Turn squawkphasers to squeak! This is very silly, as funny and lots of fun with a like-minded friend. You're barking ridiculous instructions and twiddling knobs from a spaceship dreamed up by Homer Simpson. And if you don't want things to fall apart you'd better twiddle quickly! I love the imaginative buttons and the randomised stages. My only suggestion: make it clearer what to do to start the game once you're in the lobby. Who knew you had to hold down a button? But that's a minor point.

Lots of fun to play with friends or family. I highly recommend this chaptic co-op space mission. It occasionally crashes or bugs out, but I wouldn't say that deters me from trying again. Hint: you can fix dangling panels by rotating them back to their original position.

Love the game. Perhaps too many things are paid, however it does not reduce the experience. Only cosmetics and extras.

It's pretty much like 'Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes' but with technobabble and satirical humour, the gameplay is fun and addicting itself, especially with a lot of people, but you can make it more stupidly fun by changing languages, or 1 player with multiple devices, or just making one of your friends play by himself with 8 devices (and having all devices have different lanfuages and see which one of you gets the highest score). Overall a pretty solid party game, even for just 2 people.

Heard this game mentioned on a podcast and downloaded it to try. 20 minutes later we were all shouting silly words at each other in the living room and laughing our heads off. Fantastic game to play with friends. No single player unfortunately, but I can't wait for parties to be a thing again so I can try this with more people. It's Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes with more absurdity and less stress and it came out first.

I'm sitting and listening to my two kiddos play and would really like to join them, but the app I've just installed, uninstalled, AND reinstalled won't even open on my Christmas present OnePlus 7t. While browsing through the recent reviews, I see that this issue has been known for several weeks. I'm hoping the issue will be resolved soon as this is a game my family enjoys playing together. Update:. On a whim, I went into my apps and cleared the cache and storage. App is now functioning.

So fun with groups of (light hearted) people. Very buggy still on interconnectivity. WiFi doesn't work. Bluetooth doesn't work, but internet does (usually). Concept is genius, execution needs a little polishing.

it's super fun! yelling at each other creates a rather unique experience, where we both play on our screens and in real life. but the flip instruction doesn't really work. thanks for making this fun game!

This game is flat-out fun. There's no way around it. A great party game fun for anyone who speaks English. If you don't speak English or struggle with it, this might be terrible but also might be even better. It's basically just shouting gibberish at your friends until your spaceship explodes, but in a fun way. If there was one thing I'd add, it'd be another wormhole/asteroid thing, maybe alien contact or something.

I wish so badly that I could play this with remote friends on different wifi signals (opposite ends of the country; of course with voice chat) - I travel for work every single week and am looking really hard for apps with voice chat to play with friends. So far there are some first person shooter games that allow this, and FB video messenger has several versions of the same 'Try-To-Catch-Donuts(or-something)-in-Your-Mouth' game while on video chat. Your Team could RULE this Space!

I no longer have any friends. Changing from 5 stars to 4 because there should definitely be an option to play with friends by having one of you hotspot WiFi and others connect to them, one example of that is how Minecraft local multiplayer works.

This is a really fun game to play with someone (in the same room; they will need to hear you speak so I guess video calls might work but the lag might be annoying). If it doesn't end with one or both progressively raising your voice and nearly yelling then you're doing it wrong.

This game is really awesome. Funny, fast paced & original. Knobs need to be easier to control, especially when panels start to swing. Bluetooth pairing doesn't work very well.

This is something different!. I never explain my friends how to play the first time and everyone gets it. I love the distortion effects and the added complexity as levels progress. Thank you for such an amazing game!!

And. D. Apr 17, 2019

Great concept but the group aspect doesn't seem to work, be it WiFi, Bluetooth or Internet based, even when using a password. Only either allowed a max group of 3, or seemed to have 'clones' of users taking up the space & not allowing us to start. A real shame on what could have been a great multilayer game.

This is seriously such a fun game! I super love collaborative games and this is exactly what I could hope for. Both frustrating and hilariously fun, it's challenging but simple to play. A good challenge but not so hard you just want to give up.
