Spades

A Cricket ad came on & I couldn't close it. No X. Couldn't swipe to close. I couldn't close after it ran- no x couldn't swipe to close. So I went into app in setting & did a force close. Force close stops the game & you don't get a loss. I love the app but get too many blank screens & ad that won't close. Will send screenshot of the Cricket ad.

Love the game...hate the ads. Please consider an ad free version. I'd gladly pay a onetime fee of say $2.99 to avoid the annoyance. Thanks

Lately my browser is being hijacked by your ads. One in particular is "New Spades 2022". It takes over the game and holds it hostage and I lose my game to get away from it. Not fun, very frustrating. It keeps up you will lose me as a frequent player. I encourage others to play in "Airplane" mode to eliminate ALL ads. Hopefully you can discourage the ads from taking over your game or you will soon lose all players and advertisers and have no product at all. Fix your problems!

This app would get 5 stars but it goes into ads that black screen your phone and the only way to get rid of them is to close the app, which causes a game loss. I've lost over 20 games this way. Now there are gov't ads that freeze and, again, the only way to get rid of them is to close the app and lose a game. I'm deleting the app due to no response from the developer.

I did give it 5 stars a year ago. It's down to 2 because it freezes a lot. I have Uninstaller a installed it 4 times this week. I keep coming back because it is the only spades game I can find that let's you play without a partner. It seems the problem is fixed. So back to 5 stars as of March 2022.

Decent game overall. Bidding and making 10 (Flight) does not get you 200 points, only 100 which is disappointing and there's no way to adjust for it in the settings. Also there's not an option in the settings to adjust for spades having to be broken before spades can be led in play. Some people play where you can come out playing spades immediately and this game doesn't offer that unfortunately. Other than that it's a pretty solid game

Plays very well but ads lock the game up sometimes and it has to be reset and it doesn't restart where you left off.

I really like this game because I can play offline and I can play spades solo. I do wish there was a no ads option. The ads do frequently interrupt the game. Also I think if you don't come in last you shouldn't be listed as the loser. It causes my game rank to be very low even though I didn't really come in last.

You can only win the game if it wants you to the game like going playing slots in Vegas Plus your partner under bjds most of the time, but it is what it is

Socks with the candy ad freezing it. I don't care if you show The ad for 5 hours,IM NEVER GOIBG TO PLAY IT NOW AND I just deleted spades ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!!

Horrible game!!!!! I really thought I wanted to give this game app 5 stars, but no way!!!! Not only does it black out in the middle of a hand it also cheats and gives your tricks/books to your opponent. It does it repeatedly!!! Can someone please fix this glitch. I really like this game. SJ

Could be a great game if it didn't lock up so often. If you hit the ten bag penalty the continue button doesn't appear. No way to continue play. Best AI players I have seen. Hope you fix it.

Partner is bad at this game drops high cards when you drop high cards can't make books and picks up bags. Really it's like you're playing 3 against 1 annoying. Plus the fact that there are adds after every round is disappointing and bugs the heck out of me.

So far so good. Edited: Why is my partner trumping my cards when he doesn't have to, my nil bids he doesn't trump when he can and I didn't get my 100 points when I did get my nil. I thought partners worked together, at least we did in actual card games. Have the rules changed in Spades or is this game's AI not all that I? Not impressed. If it doesn't get better I'll install a different Spades game, there's plenty to choose from.

Your game is great when I first started there was no ads and I don't mind the ads now except family farm every time he comes on it turns my screen black when it goes off and won't let me get back into the game at all I have to go completely out and lose all my game and it's done it four times in this one day two times yesterday so I just quit so please see if you can do something about it thank you very much 😊 don't know if you did anything but it hasn't done it again thank you 😊

Too many ads and I've had to close the game completely to get out of the damn ad very annoying and the computer players play the player's hand double teaming you with an unfair advantage knowing the card hand of the players.

This is a really good game The Way it is do not let them update it cuz then you going to see four times the amount of ads and the game won't be fun anymore yeah they got a pretty picture of a card but that's all there is for an updated sports the looks you can't change the speed from a spade LOL so don't updates just leave the internet off while you play

About a dozen or more times today your ad has a blank screen and I have to close everything and go back in and start over on games I was winning. I uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times but it still happens. Please fix or I'll have to find another spades game. Still doing the same thing. You have not fixed the blue screen that comes up yet. I only completed 2 out of ten games because of this. I am now uninstalling and down loading a different spades game. Working better now use 2 games now.

too bad the avatars don't have the finesse of a human to work as a real partner, then it would be great, instead it bids against your ability to win!I have to admit that since my last review some of the bugs have been fixed and some STILL exist, like the annoying interruptions of ad's that try to take control of the game and then drag you to the play store to download a new advertised game REGARDLESS if your devices have sufficient storage space for the download even if you want it or NOT!

Too many ads and they lock the game causing you to restart the game.

Ads have their quirks, but the actual game is world class!

I enjoy playing the game but there are too many ads. After you play 4-5 games it stops working. I have to get up & use my desktop.

Edit: The Ads is in this game are out of control. They pop up after every hand and holds you hostage from 7 to 15 seconds. The developer has now resorted to taking you to Google Play to buy other games from the Ad. This is my favorite solo game but I'm have to look for an alternative. Previous Rating: Game plays smooth, AI is competitive. Developer is very responsive to questions. Ads aren't intrusive. And the best part, it's FREE!!!

I've had Spades for quite awhile and just transferred it to a new tablet. Everything appeared on the new device including the number of games played and won. This is an addition to the above review. There are some ads that are difficult to eliminate after they have finished. It's frustrating and annoying. Undoubtedly you will lose players because of this.

I have been playing your spades game for years now, but I am going to uninstall it because of a Lending Tree ad that keeps popping up and there is no way to get rid of the ad except to close out the game. I have tried everything I know to fix the problem but nothing works. That stupid Lending Tree ad stayed on my screen for over an hour one time. I have been playing your spades game for hours almost on a daily basis. I'm going to uninstall your game and find another spades game.

Overall, it's a good game. The computer players are not sophisticated so it can be frustrating when there is an obvious play (e.g. undercut an opponent who bid null, or allow opponents to take more tricks so they get too many bags, etc.). There is room for improvements in the algorithms used for computer players. But I like it enough to keep playing for now. Another thing that is not transparent is how the Ranking is calculated. Maybe this would be explained by the creators.

In general really enjoy this game. Two things keeping it from being 5 star. First, it's not forgiving of accidental taps and needs an "undo" function. If you accidentally hit 12 for a bid, for example, you're stuck with it as far as I can tell. Also, the "nil" play needs some work. It's like you have 3 partners instead of 1 so it's often too easy to make. Otherwise it's very enjoyable.
