Spanish Dictionary - Offline

Compared with the English and French dictionaries from the same developer, this one simply does not have enough words in it. There are so many basic things I can't find and then it's not useful for translating from Spanish to French or English. Many times the other dictionaries have the Spanish word as a translation but it's not even linked to this one. Very disappointing! And it really has not improved over the years! You are better off using DRAE online than this.

Really good app that has surpassed my expectations over the years. Offline search, tons of definitions, and no ads. I would just say that I don't always find the word I am looking for.

As a native English speaker, I often need detailed definitions of unfamiliar Spanish terms or words with other potential meanings. This is a good app for that, at least short of jargon or colloquial terms. It also offers potential translations of a word to several different languages and verb conjugation help, plural and gender, etc. The content is just from Wiktionary, nothing special of itself, but the app is a convenient way to access and use that free content.

This app undersells itself tbh. It's effectively Spanish Wiktionary fully downloaded for mobile. There are no ads, the examples, etymologies, and conjugations are all downloaded from Wiktionary, and it works offline. It's not quite as complete as other dictionaries, but the words it's missing are mostly slang phrases.

Overall the Livio dictionaries are very useful because you can find all the conjugations and also go see the translation in other languages but with this one the conjugations are not available and many words are missing. I would not recommend this Spanish dictionary, you would need another app to support the missing words and functions in this one.

I love the Livio dictionaries. Offline. Ad free. And the translations link to the other offline language dictionaries.

The app is top notch, as are all Livio dictionaries. The only limitation is due to the content source, Spanish Wiktionary, which still has missing words. But words are constantly being added.

I simply love this series of offline dictionaries by Livio. They are extremely useful and user friendly. I only wish there was a Latin dictionary as well, that would help me a lot with my studies!

It is mostly spanish to spanish dictionary. For a learner who is on beginner level of learning spanish will not be much benefited from it. Provide examples and grammatical points in both spanish and english.

Best English dictionary. Versatile, ad-free, no Internet needed, shows traslated available words from other languages, keeps updating, and way many more options. It can't get any better.

I changed the rating from 3 to five stars because the app support informed that translations can be activated in the settings. Well done! It is a great app. P.S. please make the translation default. So that frustration can be avoided by other users.

Awesome ) for having phonetics, great audio, Eg. Algo [ˈal.ɰo] 5 definition, examples, grammar, root, followed by meaning of the word in a few other languages. alemán: etwas francés: quelque chose inglés: something, anything italiano: qualcosa portugués: algo ruso: что-нибу !?In wiki there is a different IPA standard of [ˈal.ɣo], however I am not sure which one is the better standard?!

Can't go English to Spanish, not a dictionary

This is great, but I wish it had more English (or other language) integration. I realize that it's purpose is to be a Spanish dictionary first, but I love the format and wish it did more with translation.

Excellent, different variations of the verb, easy to use, will use this co. again. Also, has voice description.

Definitions in Spanish Challenges You to learn More Spanish. Also, very good to have all of the definitions without needing to access the internet!

First word I seek, it is in other dictionaries, but not in this one. "Recial". 100% failure so far. Uninstalled it immediately, didn't last 2 minutew with this app.

This app is awesome! I just have a suggestion. Could you guys develop a Dutch dictionary? It's really important to me. I've got started to study this language.

the app does not have audio features and translation. i was expecting something more like the english version

Very, very poor, especially compared to other dictionaries of this series. Unable to find many quite ordinary words and practically no slang.

Good but the conjugation area can be a bit confusing for a newish learner since there is no subjects.

Such a comprehensive offline dictionary! However, I would substitute [ɰ] with [ɣ] in the phonetic transcription.

Best Spanish dictionary so far. However upgrading it with new words and expressions will make it perfect

This is a good app to understand Spanish... But why does it need permission to access my files\photos? That's suspicous...

I uninstall it as soon as I tested it. It's nothing like the English dictionary and it's so disappointing

Well it doesn't have translation in English. I thought it was a bilingual dictionary. But I was wrong.

'cuz the dictionary is programmed just for Spain Spanish not Latino one by pronouncing.
