Fantastic Zuma clone, the best I managed to find so far. But, the game still has two flaws. The first is the lack of any kind of scoring system. You just destroy the balls, but there's no indication of how well you're doing, which is where a lot of replay value comes from in these games. The second is that balls you get are actually random. Zuma would grant you the specific balls you need when you are about to die. Not having this makes losing nearly unavoidable sometimes.

Sparkle 1 & 2 were "Zuma" clones, this one is more of a "Luxor" clone. So games and gameplays may feel the same but a twist: instead of shooting balls around you being stuck in a corner, your vessel now slides from left to right to shoot balls in front of it. Graphics are as good as Sparkle2, but unfortunately it inherited of the same stupid bug: after a few levels background music stops playing, you'll have to keep on playing in silence, only sound effects will accompany you.

Exceptional gameplay. Simple on easy on the low difficulty settings, yet progressively more challenging on the higher difficulty settings. I prefer the nightmare mode.

I think sparkle2 is a much better game. The vertical firing in this one is less interesting IMO, and the orbs having defenses just ultimately makes the gameplay loop feel sluggish in comparison. Those are the only things that are different, so feels more like another game mode than a new game.

Probably better than the original Luxor if I'm being honest. Best played on an emulator or on the native PC version for best accuracy.

After the first two stages you have to watch long ads or pay $7.99 to continue. This is a trial version of sparkle

Sparkle Unleashed is an extension of Sparkle 2 don't get it on Play Pass if you pay for it. And you are subscribed with Play Pass Google will not let you play it even if you bought it from the Google Play Store. I paid $7.99 for Sparkle 2 and decided to end my Subscription to Play Pass on Google play store and got screwed because they will not allow me to play. Thank God I have Amazon play store I bought it from Amazon and play it with out getting ripped off. Google

Can't play unless I allow access to my Google account. No other game app have required such private thing. Definitely uninstalling immediately.

Love this game

Love this game. Don't love it enough to spend $12 on it though. Especially when its pretty much identical to the first 2 games. Free or even 99 cents and I would buy it.

I have bought all three Sparkle games now. A bit disappointed with 3. Game play has changed, and not as many options as 2. Also, no special last game or mission. Just a regular game and it was over. No challenges to play in this game as you could in 2. Survival only. You do not get to choose your power ups either. Random. They went backwards making this one. It won't be as much fun to replay again and again as I do with 1 and 2.

I'm only past the 1st 5 stages so far but, I am enjoying the game. If you like any of the Sparkle games, you should enjoy this one too. The only issue I have is, the app minimizes after I complete each board and, it crashed after I completed the first set of boards. I don't know if I am missing out on any between stage story telling but, I'll be okay without that, if am. I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and, I am thinking the crashing is because it's not meant for tablets (at least not this one). It didn't work at all prior to a software up that recently came out so, I am happy to have this much. I enjoyed Sparkles 1 and 2 from the BlackBerry PlayBook so, I am glad they kept going. Depending on behavior / performance, I may purchase the full app to try and beat this one too, before moving on to another Sparkle game.

This is a compelling, if simple game. Beautiful design and an exquisite attention to detail create an immersive and well rounded in game feel, with enough levels to keep you entertained for days. A short story and decreasing time limit will leave you racing the clock in this exciting and profoundly satisfying game.

I have played and beat Sparkle 1 and 2 many times. This is the 3rd one in the series. It is somewhat different in the regards that the ball launcher doesn't rotate 360 degrees, rather just straight up and down similar to traditional Luxor games. However, it is still incredibly fun, and has much more challenging, added, and interesting context. In my opinion, this is the most unique, I just wish you could change the launcher, but it doesn't take away from the game. Sparkle 1 will always be the hardest!
