I have warmed up to it the better I understand it.
I would be able to give five stars if I didnt keep getting the error saying it doesn't support that file type over and over when I try to load a sound I have created in my studio . I don't feel like I should have to go through and change all my prerecorded sounds just to use this program....
Ok, so I have all three apps. SPC, RD4, and Caustic. Every program is great in its own right. SPC is a sample mixer. RD4 is a synthesizer. And Caustic is pretty much both. Where Caustic is an extreme resource hog, and needs top notch hardware to run on, this app can mix samples on a mid range phone/tablet. If you have a few sound samples you work with up your sleeve, this program can adjust them, play them in midi sequence, record.. And bunch of other options. Great overall.
This is the best, simplest beat producer I've seen on the Android Market so far, and I am two inches away from deciding to buy it. There's three things that really bother me, though. 1: You can't import mp3 files. 2: A lot of the DLC scenes are loops. There should be more samples so we can build from scratch instead of using someone else's work. 3: You should be able to put more than 16 sound effects. Other than that, this app is awesome.

I love the app. But find it difficult to save.
How do I make the sounds launch right when I hit the pads? .. And not wait till the start of the first beat for the pad to launch? :) :)
