Speak!

Looking for an app for in-laws with bad eyes. This app is pretty amazing when it comes to parsing a text accurately. Once it is better I would definitely buy the premium. Until then I will live with its shortcomings such as treating decimal points as periods (it reads 8.99 as eight (stop) and ninety nine as the start of the next sentence). It also fails to ignore fancy drop caps and tries to parse it as bunch of letters. The only one word it messed up was "Imagine" where it dropped the I. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent. Losing the feel option was the righght thing to do.The revision of the interface is an improvement. Perhaps the bar code scanner could read the first result it finds. Just going to the results can be confusing to the totally blind user. Well done High Mountain.

Initially looks promising, however I tried an article in "The Times" and it didn't recognise column separation, so concatenated text from each column, but generally read text correctly. "Seeing AI" can detect if text is upside down, but this app doesn't appear to do that.

This is a great tool for visually impaired users who want to be able to quickly scan and either hear or enlarge text. most OCR apps seem to offer export of text but not immediate enlargement and reflowing. This is similar to Seeing AI on iOS and is a great alternative for Android users.

It just wasn't the. App I was looking for at this time. I tried it , good , uncomplicated visual support for the visually I'm paired. Lower vision?? No It is impossible for me to even work the app, because I need a nother device to read that n instructions. Low vision with a liteness✅

Took a photo, no obvious explanation of what's supposed to happen. Eventually pressed the orange circle, it took a photo, and then the AI simply tutts at the picture. Weird and clearly buggy.

As a legally blind Android user, I cannot praise this app enough. the OCR is lightning fast and very accurate. works great with Facebook pictures too. Tap the picture, do Share External, and select Speak! it just works and works well.

this is a great app, by a great developer! this is one of those apps, that deserves all the stars possible. I really like this app and I also like the developer of the app. he is very responsive to request and very responsive to fixing issues. he deserves every single support that there is. thank you so much.

I have one question about the barcode scanner. Is there a possible way that I do not have to restart the barcode scanner every time I scan up barcode? Overall I love the app it is very useful.

Amazing! My 11 year old has apraxia of speech and sound processing disorder. He's learning to read but it's hard and this app is giving him so much independence I'm so grateful.

So far I am very pleased that this app is a free alternative to some of the other ones where you have to pay. So far I have not encountered any problem with it will always be look on the lookout and willing to contact the developer should I have any issues arise

it works good I was crying tears of happiness I am able to have text read out loud to me without another person someone to help me read the text I would recommend this app and for the picture on the on the last one is not needed for me I'm okay with the other two features thank you

good app so far. but needs more improvement especially on the text recognition function. a little bit of accuracy.

the color identification on this app works pretty well, and the text reader works well if there is good white.

It's different kind of an App. Just open your camera and the App speak. It's working offline also. I like this App. Thank you.

This app is good for people who don't know how to read and they can learn how to read through this app for free it is 100% free with no ads so you don't have to get anyone else to read it for you and your personal information this app and do it all for you and it is good for the blind as well

This is one of the best apps I ever used to read text in an image. Keep up the great work.

best app of those I've tried. Like the ability to choose OCR engine.

Poor it only picked up part of words and is very difficult for the blind to navigate

The app works very well. My wife, who is virtually blind and uses is would like other voices. How do I find other voices?

It needs a set of instructions on HOW it works. (Not a set of instructions of WHAT it can do.)

Please add Nepali language also for text recognition.
