Speak to Voice Translator

Has several pricing options. I did the one-time payment which was almost nine bucks. Way too high in my view but it was the cheapest option. While it has no Swap button, one can switch the languages being used without having to find them again in the big list like some apps make one do. Languages already selected are shown at the top of the list. A good feature. And best of all, it allows the shown spoken sentence to be edited before the spoken aloud translation is made. THAT is why I bought it.

Just installed & tried it. Works ok when you type but it DOES NOT pick up anything when I speak. Increasing my volume, holding my mouth closer to the 📱🎙, or switching from the app mic to the one on my 📱didn't resolve this issue. Also the ads pop up as the translation is occurring which threw me b/c it covers the entire screen. If you hit the back arrow on your phone that will clear the add so you can view the translation. I'm hoping this app will prove to be helpful at my new job.

Lifesaver! I run a hotel and for many years we have struggled with communication due to language barriers. We've all tried to learn each others languages but all textbooks are teachings of one on vacation, not at work. I have many translation apps but bilingual staff tell me they're translations are bogus. Then I found this and wow. it picks up everything I say right away and translates it clearly to my colleagues. It is fast. It is efficient effective and very easy to use.

Looked promising with the ability to select different translation engines, but it's the only app of several I've tried so far that I couldn't get to register speech coming from a speaker at all. All of them have difficulty with that to varying degrees, but this one appears to be the worst. Of course, it still may work well in person, and if so it could be a great app, so despite my rating I would suggest still trying it, but for my use it was disappointing.

perfect for deaf people. Is it possible to use a blue tooth speaker with this app? so the student can look at the screen in the back of a room, while the teacher is speaking in the front of the class. right now, this app only can help when speaker is within the arm length. This app cannot transcribe lectures yet. really hope it can.That's really important to use in the classroom to access accurate content from teacher for deaf students.

very good, however some words and sentences are translated incorrectly. if I didn't know better I would have faluse knowledge..so always keep a book near to compare the translation! Only problem now they have changed it to a mans voice in Briton. A voice with no life or character, plain and soulless . It was better with the female voice

I have clients who speak Italian. This app is awful. No matter how many things I said (spoke) it got them ALL wrong. Not even close -- the translation is (WAS) always inaccurate. I SPOKE SLOWLY. I spoke like I normally speak which is not fast. Still, incorrect translations. One of the worst apps. Needs significant improvements. Uninstalled the app since it is useless.

I have been using this app to help translate from Spanish to English. Sometimes it is accurate and other times it's very far off from accurate. Overall it's a huge help but sometimes it's laughable at what it translates. Good for general purposes but I wouldn't trust it 100%

Doesn't have audio for every language, such as Irish. Still, it translates pretty well and is very useful for studying. if you know how to pronounce Irish but just need a translation, it's great. But... DON'T INTERRUPT A TRANSLATION WITH AN AD! Do the ad between translations or before.

It works. It's just not the quickest or most intuitive interface ever. There are other apps I like better but this has Haitian Creole and will speak in Creole back to you where others only translate in text.

My daughters, father is from Mexico and his family speaks very little English and my family and I live in the USA in which we speak English and very little Spanish. But this app. Has made it so much easier for our families to communicate... The only thing i would like to see is an option for 'slang' Spanish ...but other than that, this app. Is very useful 👍🏼

I like the concept of multi-translation server. There us one issue I have found right after installation i.e. when a translation is checked on Baidu, the "translate to" langauage automatically changes to Chiense or Viet. Can youbfix this error? Also, a pitch black theme for the app UI will be a welcome treat.

I like the app would give a five if it was more user friendly. It took me awhile to get it to translate from voice to voice. My type pad pops up I type word in Spanish to be translated to English and get same word? App doesn't seem to work and can't figure it out? How about one line or pop up arrows for next step to get translation.

Perfect, so many times I thought I was connected to home network but was in fact connected to mobile data! this app solves the problem .the fact that it takes you directly to phone settings is irrelevant .

Very useful app but the words need to be spoken slowly and clearly. I find it hard in view of the speed and lack of clear diction, to learn the correct pronunciation.

Translations are literal from English and don't sound good to native speakers. Sometimes they're just completely incorrect because of the direct literal translation. Translators with contextual sentences work much better!

Very useful, but needs some improvement. No options for different dialects (eg Español Mexicano vs Espanol Chileno vs Euro Spanish) and live translation works sporadically in apps. I use with WhatsApp. Sometimes the live translate icon will work, sometimes it does nothing and disappears.

Great app. Especially useful during travel to foreign language countries. Allows you to communicate by voice or writing. I also like that it keeps a history of use.

I've just recently found this site, and found it far superior to others I've used in its translation of words AND intent to all other translation modes I've tried, with German alone. I'll venture now to Yiddish and Russian to see if that expertise is just as satisfactorily mirrored. Thus far, I'm very pleased.

The voice translator is functional. It works well. I used it. I recommented and it's very useful. It translates the words not the meaning, but you can get the idea.

It does not translate to Irish, or should I say, it doen't verbalize the translation (which is usually what you need). Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I freely admit, I'm not the most technologically astute of your apps users, but I have not had this problem with any other languages. The problem only happens when translating from English to Irish. Other than that, it has done a pretty good job. Have a nice day.

excellent app, there is no way i can do without now that i have it.it is 92 percent accurate..Now all I do it keep saying new words to see if it. can catch my pronunciation..and it can..i hate when people always find faults..this app is the real topatop.

As a teacher of English Language Learners, this app has been a life saver. It is my desire to help my students who do not know English to feel safe. This app helps them to communicate and for me to teach in both English and Spanish. Is there a way the voice can speak slower? Often times, the first words in a statement are cut off or not spoken.

Amazing app. Very helpful if you're needing to understand what someone who speaks a different language is saying. Also great I'm helping you learn and it's very easy to use.

the translation is ok but I would like to be able to translate a full sentence, without having half the sentence translated, and then having to translate the remainder of what I wanted to say, initially.
