Just enter your Thiele and Small parameters for your driver and you can choose different types of speakers: Sealed, Vented, Sealed Compound, Vented Compound, Push-Pull, 4th Bandpass and 6th Bandpass. It can calculate optimums for a sealed enclosure, vented, sealed comp., ventend comp. and 4h band pass. If you choose a vented or band pass enclosure, you also can calculate the vent length and minimum port diameter.
Speaker Designer can handle a number of metric types: Inches, cu. Inch, cu. ft, ltrs, cm, mm, etc.
Speaker Designer doesn't give you any dimensions for an enclosure. It gives you the volume for an enclosure in a given configuration. You will have to determine the dimensions your self. Don't forget, the volume is the net volume.

Cons: I couldn't able to add drivers, No other 3 way options except 2nd order, No side length calculator in enclosure designer, No inductor designer.
Excited to see an enclosure spec program developer that seemed to know more about box design than the equations. But was sadly disappointed when I tried to enter some T/S par. for a few drivers I had. Anytime I try to enter ANY parameters it fails to save and displays an error message. FIX THIS ISSUE DEV!
This app may prove to be indispensable (particularly since my Windoze Frankenstein is out of commission. Nonetheless, I found the tax of 0.49¢ abusive for a purchase of under $2.50 (no country or state I know of would levy such a tax). A warning for anyone considering purchasing.
It does not give the group delay graph. This is the most important graph . Being able toadjust box volumes without knowing what the group delay is doing is pointless. You will end up with terrible sounding box. Also for band pass boxes it does not suggest the optimum volumes. For bandpass the volumes are critical . Once again group delay is the only way to see misalignment.
Doesnt make proper calcs, uses the previously loaded drivers t/s params unless you enter menu a particular way. Contacted dev and gave him two explicit emails but got one lame reply and nothing is changed after a month. Vents are calculated wrong and the response curves are wacky. No option for group delay, for rectangular vents, no option for displacement of port volume. Q is mathematically entered as 7.07 instead of .707, 12.0 rather than 1.2 etc. Box dimensions? Poor program dont waste your time. I
All too often it won't load driver database, crashes upon opening & periodically can't save drivers. When it does work, it's really close to bass box pro. Can't do multiple drivers in single enclosure. Would be a 5 star if above issues were fixed.
Very handy enclosure calculator using Thiele small parameters. So glad someone finally put this in an app. Great work!
If the calculations are accurate, this is the best app out there. Simple and fun to use. Highly recommended.
Can it calculate the resonant frequency of a driver / enclosure combination? Can you add a linkwitz transform filter for subwoofer design? EDIT: after a lot of use, its pretty good and the calcs marry up pretty well with WinISD for the drivers I've modeled. Would be great to be able to scroll below 20Hz on the graphs though, especially for those of us trying to design home theatre subs.
Where the he'll is the options button? This is completely useless if I can't add drivers to its database! I even tried installing it on multiple devices! I was so excited! What a letdown 😣
The box program only does round ports doesnt do slot or square ports .not the best
It says "Select a driver in order to select an enclosure" . Go to drivers and you can't select any of the pre-installed drivers. It says select "tab" for options. But there is no tab, nor options available. I'm on Cm 12.1.
Just built some awesome speakers using this little app.
Nice app but would be even better if it coud do dimensions (say start from a max height or/and dept ?) and group delay , as for the tax rate , gov`t is squeezing entrepeneural sense out of people for ages with their legal theft called taxes.

You can't select anything. It says to add a sub tab options. But you can't. There's no save... there's no way to even select the preloaded subs in there. There's no options button, there's no help section,..... nothing... it's terrible.
Can you ad a cut sheet after all the parameters are done? It will be more helpful.
Not an encloser designer but it gives you the appropriate volume your encloser should be along with a graph to show the speakers frequency response.
