I'm impressed, the Speaky team has listened. The app UX/UI has improved but needs some work. I can no longer adjust my notifications in detail as previously. The app is allowing users to put their native language as a language someone is learning, this is a bit sketchy. They removed some features that were useful such as blocking users from certain areas. Adding a section for hobbies and interest in a profile is a must.
The new update is worst. Speaky must bring back the old interface. Now 1 I can't see more than 8-10 conversations on the app. All other conversations are not accessible 2 In the old version we can see friends list which was very much important. New version doesn't have friends list 3 The option to select countries is missing 4 The stickers are missing. The local time is missing 5 The option of non native speakers was awesome to make friends around the world PLS BRING BACK OLD INTERFACE.
new app is responsive and fast, speaky app concept is different from all other apps there and better than those. i love this app since I'm using. but need improvement in notifications, sometimes it dont show notifications, but there are messages if we open. in chat, we cant copy text, to write it again wi4h answer and can't even reply to specific message. now we cant know what other person said, for which thing, misunderstanding occurs...
I like the new design experience but bring back old features.. - More filter options to block based on country/language. - Matching people based on mutual interests/hobbies - Add north african native language: Tamazight Problems with app: - I cannot unarvhive conversations - I cannot delete conversation i dont like - Blocking someone should automatically delete their conversation - I cannot scroll to older conversation i had with people (not history of conversation)
Thnx for prior reply as u said there was filter for level, but why mix up there native and non native people u should make two side . It's really looking awesome but u made 1 screen for all people. It's feeling little awkward. Old version was really awesome 🥰
Nice App, smooth experience with the last update But i got 2 issues, 1st I'm getting no notifications from the app Secondly, I'd love to see a built-in dark mode feature which mandatory in 2022 since most of the apps have it nowadays, thanks
This software is really helpful to learn any language. I want to give 5 star rating but I can't! Because, there is something problem. When I tap back button then Get me out of application. So the author should be work these technical side.🌺🌺
it was really nice app and helped me so much with my journey to learn english. however, after so many weird updates, everything has been broken. please can someone fix it again? everyone miss old speaky and its design. you all are losing so many users because of these bad updates. i am going to stop using this app anymore, and i am so sad. i wanna back to this app if it would be great again. i hope everything will be fixed.
This app has got worst IT team possible, all other apps keep improving but this app is becoming worse day by day..The new interface is entirely useless..They just changed all the app features for which people used to like this app, the app is brilliant idea but with worst IT team, this app three years back is still better than now and had way more users, why would anyone do changes to make it worse.. completely unimaginable... please bring back old speaky back when it's rating was 4.5 and not 3
New app works fast and clear but i think instead of creating a new app you guys could have just fixed the servers, old interface was better and simpler with a lot of specifications like translating, editing messages etc
I'm very old Speaky user everything was good but the old version was much better than new one, its disaster and unhelpful at all all stickers gone whyyy??? And where accept opinion????? i can't see my old chats with my friends plus i can't chat with my friends well , other people and my friends in the same place I can't differentiate between them i feel like i don't want to use it its so bad and very frustrating , please we need old version, completely disappointed 👎👎👎👎
old version is better.can see friendlist and online users. but this new version is pull back to like a beginner app. cant see anything. please fix it up. The team should put the delete conversation feature.
I've been using this app for more than four years, everything was fine, despite some small problems But after this update, everything became nasty, I'm sorry for this word but this app made me so angry, I don't want to use it yet until all the previous features are back (select the country, ... ). thx
I discovered this updated version of app consumes alot of data i used 1 Giga in only 5 days it was not like that in old version can you solve this problem ?!
The system, process, and the whole app is sooooo slow weak and irritating, We can't even delete messages or chats. It's really making us angry and wasting time... Please make changes in it or soon I will delete my account.... Please....
So, this has a new update and the previous one was you can see or connect easily to the natives that you want to talk to, but now it was hard to. I guess this will help to communicate more to other people than before.
Excellent app. After a few days they finally solved the bug. It works fine. BUT I don't know why some messages are missing after updating it.
It's really impressive how you have managed to make the new version even more unreliable than the atrocious previous one.
Why do you keep deactivating my account?! I haven't done anything that should give you the reason to deactivate my account, not to mention you haven't told me the reason!!! Furthermore, I don't know how to contact you. For the record, I'm always polite with people that I talk with in Speaky and I haven't and would never insult someone. Thank you for your help. I used to use speaky often, but it had a lot of bugs and I deleted my account, I tried to open new accounts but it wasn't working again and I deleted them too, now I see that my old accounts still exist when I search my name but I can't open them to delete again
I was one who loved this app and gave 5 star and Iam regretting for that.. No issue, This app deserve in minus rating. Please don't download this waste app and don't waste your precious time. This developers never work out for it's development.. It's one of the useless app I ever have.. Google should remove this app from Google Play Store.. It's just wasting our time and effort.
İt's now so much better than before. But İ would like to choose more than 1 studying languages and to be able to block some countries. Thank you
What happened with new message notifications??? Why you deleted this function? And how long time we should wait again till you will update your app to get this notifications back? Weeks, month, may be years?
Well I started this app on 2018 and still an user.Last few months I just struggled to deliver my text messages but this new version sort out.Well i miss old interface and old features like sticker,or delete chat or chat request or new members feature and so on.Hope you guys will add them so soon .Thanks
The historic is disappearing automatically. If you have a lot of conversations then you old ones will be removed even though you haven't replied to them. So fix it guys
It's pretty fun but there is a small problem with the chats and there is somethings weird when people puts a very bad profile and tries to talk to you but I avoided them and got to know good people
Finally I can change my review of Speaky! The new update really changed the app. I am not too fond of the new interface but at least it works!
Not so great. Where I did meet some interesting people, the app and web version have SO many issues. Constantly crashing and not sending messages. I haven't been able to view most of my messages and I was suddenly logged out and haven't been able to log back in. I requested a password change multiple times and only got one about 40 minutes later. When I tried to reset it it said unhandled error.
