Can't access any of the settings. I can see the 3 dots, but they are obstructed by the graph. When I try to click on them, the app simply pauses and does not go to the settings. Device: Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. Android 5.1.
LOVE BUT...How do I analyze the frequency of the PEAK HOLD SECTION in the analyzer?? When I pause I am only able to check the frequency of the last known pause section. It would be helpful to be able to check the "peak hold section" as well as sometimes I miss the variation while pausing.
App can be moved to external SD memory
This is a great little app that works amazingly well, I don't have much use for it right now, but I'm sure it will come in handy if I ever need a spectrum analyzer quickly.
After installing a bunch of apps for realtime frequency analysis only this app did what it should, without annoying adverts. I like it's fullscreen GUI, clean and practical and with default settings. Freq. response is just right, considering it's an android app. I would like to see more numbers on the frequency axis, other than that my opinion is that developers did a great job.
The spectrum may be ok, but the frequency range is pretty limited and the dB meter is about 20 dB off. This may be an OK consumer tool but definitely not a solid pro tool In response to the developers response: I understand that its relative, but this review was based on running it immediately next to a fully calibrated SMAART analyzer. If you're just looking for relative differences in dB or need a mid-level spectrum, it's probably totally fine but it didn't work for my pro application. I was looking for an app that I could roam in a room that emulated the results of my SMAART system with reasonable accuracy. It's a cool little app for the right person, it just didn't work for my application.
I wanted to measure a high frequency I was hearing (and some people not), but all the other apps required suspicious permissions, were fully blown with ads or were just unusable. This app is simple yet very powerful (customizable sample rare, sample size, averaging, windowing, measure points, etc.) so it is the best for the job. Five stars and a big thanks!
Best of all the apps I have used for this purpose. It was able to pick up the noise generated by my old school CRT television as well as pinpoint crickets and tree frogs outside of my closed up house. Just functions absolutely incredible and picks up all the little tiny nuances in the room and outside of the house haha.
App crashes at every attempt to take a screen shot. Regardless, whether app is paused or not. I also suspect db's are totally off the mark. For viewing basic frequency levels it's ok.
Needed an oscilliscope to determine different frequencies for a uni project. Absolutely ideal and is as good as most of the paid one's too. Love it
Didn't think it would work because the memory usage was so low but it turned out to be great
I find that it is true to musical sounds and the their frequencies. I think it hears mosquitoes in the room, which we have no chance of detecting from afar.
This app has so many options to allow you to customize its performance, yet is extremely intuitive and easy to learn and use. No ads, too. The main window is optimized for quick and easy viewing and measurements.
I have checked all other apps... but this is greatest one that i had seen
Works nice, my only complaint is that when you zoom in on the x axis, numbers don't appear for the smaller tick marks/intervals.
After trying half a dozen of the top rated free spec analyzers, this one comes in second. Only beaten by the excellent one from Keuwlsoft. Kudos
The only thing I can say is it would be a cool (maybe not practical) feature to have different colors to choose from for the graph. Neon Blue or Pink would be very cool! :D
It helped me to pit point frequency my device was making. Just zoom at interesting range, pause at interesting moment, and make measurement. Awesome!
Wew, for a clean app which doesn't have an ad in it, this is impressive
Simple and accurate. The ability to pause and the cursors to display spectrum cooridnates are great features. Nice app.
Please provide a way to capture and display multiple graphs so comparisons can be made. 5 star app if it has that feature.
Settings menu not working on my Galaxy S6. Loved it when settings menu worked.
Great for professional purposes, or just looking at the frequency signatures of your favorite songs or movies!
Fabulous tool for working out melodies and harmonies. This could revolutionize the way you compose music.
+ 5 * very intutive , nice interface. 0 to 10 K Hz
Excellent app! Wish tuner app devs were as versed in signal analysis.
Useful. It would be nice to be able to save a section of waveform as .wav file.
The fastest, and most stable frequency analysing app available.
It has no way to do any real full range testing
