It is very good app, easy to use. RPM of any moter can be measure. Increase vibration sound by slightly touching hard paper on blades, record spectrum and measure peak frequency. RPM will be (Frequency x 60 /numbers of blades).
I've used it lots, it's simple, functional, and easy to use. So for example to quickly identify and notch out some feedback at band practice. I paid the 99c to upgrade even though the free version is useful enough.
Quite good but needs to have a delay, on peak detection. If you have keyboard sounds on or any noise, going on at reset, this picks that noise up, thus making the peak store useless. A delay before a reading is taken, would be better
Don't pay for this app like I did, it's definitely not worth it compared to other free apps like "Audizr". IMO it desperately needs a basic Db meter in the top corner that's not using the flipped/negative scale eg 75 db not -25, window function options like hann and flat top, averaging options like expo vs rms and weighing options like a,b,or z weighted. also an overlay of a chosen industry standard frequency response curve would be an awesome unique feature.
This app is so good I would have worn a white coat if I had one! It works in combination with almost all of the sound producing apps like Rat Repellent ultrasound apps etc. Accurately too! Can't remember if this was a paid for App or not but I would happily pay anything upto £3 for it. Thank you so much for the efforts put in by the developers, WELL DONE.
Good... I'm not a particularly educated user but I like the graph. I can see what frequencies are ambient and what are anomalies. I had this running when our parking lot was being resurfaced. Pretty cool...
I wish it had the ability to record frequencies over a short time. It sems to work well but there is a lot of static and interference on the frequency line.
I work on medical equipment that uses a high frequency tone for alarms. I cannot hear high frequencies. I put this on my phone, and it works GREAT!!!
Great app which gives good detail of an accoustical event. The only issue is that I wish it could capture and save a sound profile for future analysis.
Nice combo of frequency n" decibels well illustrated and adjustable. Pretty slick. Simple to use like a toaster! It is a graphic microphone pretty much...
It's nice to expand or decrease the range within the view. I would love to expand one section while keeping other sections tight.
I find this app invaluable because of its ease of use, flexibility, and above all its ability to hold the highest level. No other app I have tried is as useful.
So far it seems to be accurate, still in the early testing stage. It has been useful and best of all it's free (and working).
its a fun app; it raisis the yelow peak when you clap or make a sound, but your divice needs to be compadible with the app meaning it needs to have a microphone, your divice
Much better than other apps I've tried. Educating yourself on these kind of system analyzers will go a long way in the ease of use and setup. Very good app.
good results. I work ultrasonic welding machine repair. I measure the graph this application is very helpful to me. Thank developer..
This app is very easy and same use sonic sniffer. This app is very useful ultrasonic wave frequency. I like it.
excellent. great for the times you're setting up and want to find out what that damn 15037 Hz noise is.
Old. No longer supported. Probably great if you're using a device from 2013
Accurate and useful. Recommend to pay the little amount to unlock all features.
It looks good, but you need to pay to use setup. And the display shuts down.
Easy to use. Very limited in it's free functionality.
Free version does the job without drama. Simple and useful.
Simple and perfect for a rough idea of the spectrum.
Nice app for looking at background noise, ie air handlers, motors, trains, aircraft approaches etc.
Fantastic app! Helped solve feedback problems with p.a. system. Check tuning etc etc
Excellent app. Does exactly what it says and is low on resource usage.
Although appreciate the attempt to provide this type of appi could it find it useful as a spectrum analyzer as it is now. So many similar apps that all are lacking in some way it's hard to remember which ones failed at certain things, but if I deleted it, I can say it's not going to be of any help at tuning speakers. If you're looking for that, you'll have to forget using apps and a cheap Dayton mic unless you're ok with it sounding worse than if you left it alone. Sorry but I've tried them all
