I just upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra from the Note 20 Ultra. This app worked just fine on my last phone, but on this phone, every time I tap to open it, or even swipe to the screen it's on, it crashes my phone. I had to go into app settings just to uninstall it because I couldn't interact with the app anywhere else without my phone crashing. The spectrum internet app works just fine, I'm not sure what's going on with this one.

Works pretty much as advertised, but always pops up a warning that it's using too much cpu. Also, the last update has been close to a year ago. Is this still under active development? I am putting it on always sleeping until I'm mobile until further notice. If it continues to give an error after that I will be uninstalling it. EDIT: I went to power savings and tried to deep sleep it. It didn't show up. So I went to apps and tried to disable it. Grayed out. Curious, I went to wireshark on my network and the results were interesting, to say the least. I will NOT be forced to run an app on my phone that will damage it or invade my privacy. One ADB pm-uninstall later and it's gone. I am now subtracting a star from my review for the extra effort. Please retool the application to function better on lower end devices, make it less invasive. So far as I can tell, it is not necessary for the phone to make/receive calls or use data services but requires too many permissions and too much processor time.

App stopped allowing login. Takes you to the website to log in and says you can come back and log into the app after that. It does this in an integrated browser, so my password manager (LastPass) cannot filll in that login for me. I literally had to walk to a computer and look it up. On top of that, after logging in you still are not able to login to the app. It just loops on forcing you to the website in the integrated browser. Less than worthless at this point.

The app is convenient and easy to use, and is my preferred method of interaction with Spectrum services. Good job! I'm about due for a phone upgrade, most likely an Apple device which seems to be the most popular, tho my various Androids have served me well. Tough choice, what with different cables, cases, and other ancillary equipment required. But I can always switch back to Android should I choose. Thank you Spectrum for your cellular service offerings. Stephen

Super user friendly. Im not tech savvy and dread trying to download or figure out apps and sign ups ect... i just wanted to upgrade my plan from by the gig to unlimmited and i figured it out in 5 mins. Been meaning to call and do this for like 6 months... but just never had time for a call and waiting on the line talking to computers drives me crazy. So this was awesome .

New update has fixed the fingerprint login issues and the app runs really well. Thanks for fixing it. 12/8/19 Been meaning to write this edit for a bit. Just been way busy. So they update the app and fingerprint logging in comes back. Everything is working great. Then it updates recently and now whenever I login it says unable to load and I can see no information at all. I have to go to the webpage and do it all from there. This app is useless at this point and is just taking up space.

The app is useless. Doesn't ever load and always gives error. Not being able to manage my phone or data is costing me money. If not fixed will be returning to previous provider Now the app is saying I'm not a Spectrum customer. Seriously, this is super frustrating and disheartenting. You can fix one issue and less than a month later another pops up again. Not good quality. I shouldn't have to always call in everytime.

First, I hate being forced to update an app for some small thing like choosing to receive ads by text 🤦 NO, I DON'T WANT TEXT ADS!!!! Besides that... The app is great! However their sevice SUCKS!!!! My texts don't always go thru and neither do my emails. I work right next door to where I live and sometimes can't even get data there!!! Another HUGE issue is that I also have Spectrum wifi and it SUCKS too!! Sometimes I can't tell if it's my phone or my wifi!!! 🤬 They both SUCK!!! 🤦

Well, the app had a rocky start for the first few months but now biometrics work perfectly, the app is responsive and very streamlined with low battery use and concise UI to ensure anyone can get in, do what they need to do and dip rapidly. Please now just dont "fix what isnt broken" with a future patch b/c it's legit perfect as is.

I am so disheartened with Spectrum as a carrier period. I've been a customer a long time, convinced others to join Spectrum cuz I've always loved it! I've added 2 additional lines on my service within the last month. The last one I tried adding is still without a phone and I started this process May 18th! In store and called in numerous times still no resolve. Phone was faulty and I'm simply trying to exchange it with a working one! Not my fault I received a lemon. Saddens me but i may be gone.

Not the most confusing, but not the easiest to navigate. Essentially everything is layed out in a not too confusing fashion and you CAN change your plan pretty easily. Not bad, spectrum. I'm liking this service so far. Decent app.

I love the app. It hads alot of very useful tools, such as the activity tracker and the cost to text/call and use data in/to different countries. And since I'm on the By The Gig plan it actually told me what my bill was up to in total when I went beyond my family's 2 gbs. Can also upgrade to the unlimited plan right from the app if I have the need. I too had trouble getting in for a while, so I just canceled it and reloaded it and now it works fine.

The app is pretty decent but needs a few more improvements to be made considered user friendly. For example: In the first few minutes of reviewing my billing statement, I have been logged off, this has happened several times and is frustrating. It is somewhat difficult to understand where to find the important information I need to understand the billing details etc. Also, I was wondering why the time zone for calls or texts made doesn't match my own.

This is not exactly the app but I have the spectrum app for my roku for my smart TV and it is the worst app in the world. It's not my roku because all my other apps work fine such as Netflix. The app never starts up and always has a different error code. I always have to uninstall and reinstall the app. They do this to make you buy another cable box to charge you more. I wish it was TWC which was 100% better service. Spectrum SUCKS BIG TIME!! IF YOU HAVE A SMART TV JUST SAVE $$ AND HEADACHES AND JUST GET AMAZON STICK WITH HULU AND NETFLIX. CHEAPER AND A BETTER DEAL!!!

Spectrum has got to have the worst customer service. They are absolutely useless in tech support and the technicians they send out aren't really useful at trouble shooting or even bothered to check out the cable lines. Waste of time! They never got it to work. Stick with or get Verizon. You will not be disappointed.

When placing order for new phone plane and a payment plan for the new phone, we had talked about insurance for the device for an extra $7 a month, I gladly agreed cause it's worth it, however upon looking at my bill I realized that I wasn't being charged for it, when talking with then they say there's nothing that they can do,can only be added during purchase, so cause whoever took my order over phone didn't add it when placing the order I'm screwed if my phone drops or anything. Never again

I thought that I would try spectrum mobile after the expense at another well known mobile carrier was getting so high. Spectrum mobile has worked out very well for us while at home or in an area with a spectrum hot spot. I did have one time visiting in an area without the spectrum signal and my expense was going up quickly but, they offer the ability to change your plan anytime in a billing cycle to an unlimited plan which takes effect that same billing cycle so that was a big help. The mobile app was great until you decided to merge it with the other spectrum app , it's so annoying that I can't access the apps awesome features now because of this merge. The mobile app was way better as far as navigating right where you needed to. The TV up has never been as user friendly. Where can I access my devices and current cycles now that you've made the mobile app unavailable?

If I have the option of 0 stars I will rate them 0, 1 is too much. Many unable to make or receive phone calls, even inside the house with Wi-Fi. Then trying to contact customer service is a nightmare, not even able to connect with anyone.

Seems to install a background app also called "Spectrum Mobile" that cannot be uninstalled and drained my battery quicker than normal unless you disable its permissions and even then, it still eats up battery quicker than normal. According to the battery usage, it will still show up doing background activity even with its permissions disabled. The only way to get rid of this background app is to uninstall the regular Spectrum Mobile app then to find the background Spectrum Mobile app and uninstall its updates.

App works as intended, but seems pretty basic. I use it to track how much data I've used and how many days till next cycle. Also shows me payments due and amount. It showed me my card expired so that was convenient, and I use it to make sure I do not exceed data tier.

If you have a by the gig plan, be careful when you set your limit to 950mb because you will be charged $28 instead of $14/month since their system rounds the .95gb up to being over 1gb. I called them. It is kind of messed up that spectrum mobile system works like that but at least giving them a call helped me fix it. This also happened to me from a bill from months ago. However since that one is so far back, they can't help me with that one. But at least my $28 from last month was all fixed.

This app fails to give an accurate read of Mobile data billing. The data includes messaging data used however spectrum doesn't charge for the messaging data. Therefore billing is in accurate. Completely fails what it is designed to do. UPDATE Data usage not only inaccurate. Data failed to reset 3 weeks ago when my monthly service cycled. Called the number for support. That was as useful as the app. PLEASE FIX THE APP!

Spectrum Mobile has been horrible, with the apps not working on PC nor mobile phone. The tabs aren't present, my account information doesn't work and the customer service, though pleasant, has been a totally useless waste of my time. I've worked for a month trying to get my phone number ported over and I have to start over every time, and have not yet ever received a call back from customer service, though I've been repeatable told that would happen. They suck.

Completely violated privacy!! Took it upon themselves to merge mobile service with home services so now mobile user has full access to home TV/internet account details and vice versa. Did not ask for consent nor give you the option to opt out. Plus customer service can't do anything about it either. Will be getting new service elsewhere

I just HAVE to BRAGG on Spectrum!!! I had My Router AND Motem go bad and I didnt even know cause I used mostly Mobile Data. It was actually the Customer Service Agent I was speaking to in reference to an upgrade of channels, that pointed out I hadn't used any data for like 6 months!!! So She set up service appt and replaced motem and router. Then I cudnt believe wen I had a CREDIT OF $900!!! Apparently, They were down alot longer than 1st thought!!! That's a NO HASSLE CREDIT!!! TY, Spectrum!!!

This is the worst phone service ever. I live in the big city of Dallas Texas and never have 5G service. 99% of the time I have LTE or LTE+ which is horrible to start with. The 1% that I have 5G it is so horribly slow its impossible to use. I had better cell service with Metro PCS. I don't recommend this to anyone.

Awful app. Can't download a decent bill of my mobile service with my name and address like most normal bills. I went online too and no luck and tried desktop but all you get is a statement scattered across page after page no download options like they say. I had to call Spectrum mobile 4 times waiting on hold hours and still I can't get a decent bill after 2 supervisors sent me blurry :invoices" that were not download friendly. Very odd. Looked like a 3 year old emailed it to me. Stressful time.

I dumped AT&T after 26 years... OMG what a great feeling!! Spectrum calls are crystal clear WIFI Calling is great for poor reception areas and works better than AT&T that had trouble switching over without dropping the call. I was able to not only keep my number but even use my current phone once I got it unlocked. I'm super happy.

The service works coast to coast and even in Mexico, yeah they charge more for roaming but it still comes out cheaper than when we were on Verizon and the service is pretty much the same. Haven't had a problem in the 2 years with spectrum.
