I like it. It does most everything I wanted to do. I tried numerous others and this one has the features you need. One thing would be a extra switch to change the octaves to there pure form ie 432hz vs 440 hz for the entire scale. Put that in and I'll come back and change my vote to a 5+++ . You did a excellent job so far. Almost perfect.😁
Wow. Am very impressed with the wide range of features. You can switch to 24khz bandwidth, slide indicator to specific freqs, step history in 0.1sec increments, generate white, pink, gray noise etc., and switch among several views of the graphical output. Two notes: 1) tap the ellipses (...), read the question mark icon, and see what the icons do. 2) Some users complained about accuracy ... they should realize that a cell phone mic is NOT a studio reference mic. It's the hardware, not the app!
% is based on the loudest recorded sound and other plots are a % of that loudest sound? Wouldn't that need a sound at 100% plotted at some point? When I have a calibrated mic with a set of correction values based at some frequency's with db values, I don't need mic to be corrected I need place to enter those deviations to account for it's inaccuracies. I have not found any test programs that correctly use those values. I can't enter % to correct the + or - in decibels. I'll reread help! TY!
Cumbersome to use. Accuracy and reliability are dependent on the relatively cheap hardware on most smartphones. So your not exactly going to mix and produce a Mass Market Album with it or tune a Yamaha Grand Piano. It is free, and considering the vast number of features crammed on it, it is well thought out. But, all the features are indexed on a complex busy, and difficult to access key. Maybe you could just Cast it to your TV, catch a buzz, and watch the lights. *** For Entertainment value!
I'm a alternative therapist and have just started using sound therapy. This app is brilliant, allows me to measure the sound frequencies of a room and shut of anything that will interfere. Loads of extra features too that I'm just getting used to. Can't rate it high enough! Top job!
It took some time to learn the icons or functions, as they were not intuitive as apps made in the US, but after watching the instructions video with English subtitles, you will find this app to be very integrative. Great effort.
love it :) I admit the app is not easy for the non intuitive to figure out, but if you *are* a more intuitive type that likes to figure out how something works by dabbling around, this app is great. it has the features most reviewers seem to ask for but can't figure out that's all.
Handy little app for audiophiles, sound designers, and audio enthusiast. Also a great app for those with tinnitus. A great plethora of features, the most for any app. Hope you can add waterfall and about 5 peak real-time markers. Thanks devs.
Felt like I was groping around in a dark room. The help function doesn't explain much. It does behave like an RTA, with equal points per octave, but how many was sort of a guess. Moving the slider improved resolution, but only to 1/3 octave, I think. Very hard to tell. Never did get the graph to scale to full audible bandwidth. fwiw, my needs are for an RTA with 1/24th octave resolution. I would also like a time spectrogram alongside the frequency plot. Maybe asking too much for an app.
This is a good app although my intended purpose is to detect music in 432hz. I'm going to uninstall this for now. Hopefully in the future this will be an option. Thanks and i wish you the best. 10/12/2020 10/20/2020 Thanks for your response. Understandably you would say 440hz is the international standard and this is how you made your app. I'm only telling why I was looking for an option that i thought your app could also offer.
Works as advertised and I will recommend it to friends and family. Thank you to the people put the effort to make available in future I will be looking first for apps from same source. To set up a pro-audio stage limitations of the phone microphone with phone hand held, come on it's not apps issue it would be the operator expecting accurate measurement .
Very useful. Feature request: move some frequently used buttons from settings to vertical control bar on the right. I.e. generate tone, x2, select max level... Question: how to make Y-axis logarithmic? Big thanks.
Most functionality and practicality of all speaker frequincy testing apps. You must however watch the instructional video reguardless of experience level. Unique icons to learn but packed with functions once you figure it out.
Very interesting application, makes me wanting to learn about the sounds' science. Great ideas with the guideline samples, on more items. Cool menu. Clean app. Way yo go! I will look for more from author. Привет и спасибо!
Fantastic little app. Light weight and easy to use. Does not have every little bell and whistle, but serves well in the capacity it was needed.
One of the best, most exteneive mobile spectrometers on the application market! I was pleasantly surprised when I realized how 'in depth' this program goes with all of it's features and the information you learn while using this! Thank youuuu!! ^•^
. Labels on menu buttons would be nice. Great tool for testing the portable speaker concepts ive been developing. It can recognize your phone and knows its equipment (for calibration)
All around great Application. I must admit, after reading some of the devs responses to various reviews.. it became clear that, even if I didn't need the app at the moment, I would still download and share based on how much I love the dev's responses to various reviews. Nothing better than finding real deal dev in the rough.
Simple straight forward and does what it does. Nice to be able to have something actually shown doing just what a machine would do. Provide data to solve a problem. Not on me if all them negative people comments just show so many must not appreciate all that is going on when first open it. simple tools for everyday
Love this app! Didn't know it can also produce test tones, I can test my speakers too 👌. One request, can you include a switchable option to show a more detailed grid, and a dB scale option too? Not a big deal though!
Good analyzer, but I could not find how to set vertical and horizontal range. Needs a bit of improvement or documentation
very well executed! has some beautiful options you'll rarely find in sound/spectrum analyser apps. this won't leave my phone anytime soon.
Very impressive, customizable spectrum analyzer. Other basic audio tools like a tone generator are also included.
Love the test signals. If the phone had input it could actually check signal path and modulator products. Voice print would be nice.
Fun and easy to use, offering some interesting visual effects that work well with my led projector.
I really like all of the different functions, especially replaying the input with the tone generator. Genius app!
App is difficult to use. There are alot of small symbols that can be difficult to recognize, as well as remember what they signify. I would rate ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ if the app had list of some type, in a drop down window for example, that spelled out each button's function. This app is extremely useful, very interesting, and fun to use. But it's degree of difficulty to operate and fully understand, makes it un-useable to most individuals that might download it.
