I would not give this 1 star. While he was English, the synthesized voice was American. The tones are not consistent with his sentence structure. Horrible APP.
It is not his voice, the Atari.SPEECH is more advanced than this, same with TI-99 or even TSI S14001A! It isn't fun, the voice doesn't even sound robotic enough for any enjoyment to be had, there are ADS on a TEXT-TO-SPEECH APP, and you need Internet! For shame, Gering! For shame!
Very easy to use. Sounds not exactly like Hawking but very similar. Is there any way to deactivate the advertisements? For example by donating amount X?
This app is pretty cool, even though it doesn't sound like Hawking. Hawking is one of my favorite people in the world. You can type anything you want and Hawking reads it. It's awesome!
Yeah I agree, it dosnt sound like Steven hawking, the program looks cool with the blue screen and letters like his actual computor but the voice isnt hawking
If only it had more language options, all I have is plain English, I wanted accents and more modulated voices

It doesn't tell everything that I type just a 2 sentence, and we can't change the speed of the voice

I don't understand how hard it is to capture the essence of Stephen Hawkings dulcet tones, but this app severely disappointed me.

Why does a text to speech synthesizer need to connect to the internet to work?
I can't even understand what it's saying! This doesn't even sound like Stephen Hawking! I'm a huge Hawking fan, and I know even HAWKING would disapprove of this app!

The voice doesn't sound at all like Hawking. Worse it pauses to show full screen take-over adds that blast out audio. In short you can kind of have fun with this app until the commercial starts playing on loud and you can't shut it up. I likely would have kept it installed if the adds were more tasteful.
