I don't understand your developers at all. You made this for a gag? But it's a delayed audio feedback device. For stutters like me, this is a great tool to overcome stuttering. AND IT WORKS GREAT!! Why are you passing this off as a gag instead of an amazing tool for stutterers? Even the apps that do the same, but for helping stutterers don't work as well as this one. The feedback delay is excellent. You can use this app to HELP MANY MANY people. Isn't that better than whatever it is now?

I realise that this is a free app, and it has to make money, but there are no skip buttons for the ads, you need to sit through them entirely. I do appreciate them giving a selection of things to read from to test the effect the jamming has on you, but I personally did not experience this effect while using the app.

It's cool as it does to a certain extent mess up your speech, but as you move along, you start to get used to it. Also, it somewhat acts a tuner if you look at the sound wave, you can also see the overtones, however as I am not a physicist, I couldn't tell what pitches I was seeing, however I could see it was there. So if you are a musician, and you want a more physical side of your sound, whether it be instrumental or vocal, give it a shot, I'll be trying my trumpet soon, to see the results.

Ok, so I gave stars because I could hear myself talking, but it had no effect on my speech. I was able to successfully talk normal, and basically over the feedback. I did read someone else's review that mentioned it doesn't work on everyone. Kind of bummed, because I was hoping to make a funny video with the jammed up effect and messed up speech. So, others beware, you may not end up with desired effect.

I have a few issues that I just cant get past. • App no longer works in background. After about a minute when using as background app it turns off mic or playback. have to re-enter app to hear playback again. So cant read from device • Playback is delayed even at 0ms on android device with is frustrating bc iOS gets to use it at 0ms so I know the timer is off and cant be at desired interval when use with metronome. This app used to work when phone locked to save bat or while browsing other app

While the app does technically do what it's supposed to do, the delay in play-back is too great to have any real effect on speech fluidity (at least for me, and I have no formal vocal training). I didn't notice myself struggling at all, and even recorded myself twice reading the same speech to make sure - first with the app on and then once without it - and there was no perceptible difference in my prosody whatsoever.

Didn't make me stutter at all. I could hear myself but it didn't change anything. Also, when I was done I left the app and disconnected my headphones and some pitched up, high screeching sound left my phone. Very unpleasant.

So, i downloaded this app for fun because i was told that it can make you stutter, but this app doesnt change your voice at all. It doesnt make it difficult to talk. And there are way to many ads. And ad playes everytime you stop it. I do not recommend.

It does indeed work, however putting loud adverts that play without warning into an app - that requires high volume and headphones for the greatest effect - is remarkably user unfriendly. An option to remove advertising (for a fee) does not excuse this poor design.

This app is really fun had a blast messing w my brain. There are a few ads but it really isn't a big deal, and they're not long or obnoxious or hard to close. Well designed, fun to play with, would recommend!

Functional speech jammer that couldn't be more simple and easy to use. Try 100-200 ms for wired headphones, maybe even shorter for bluetooth headphones, and a medium to high sound level, for the jamming to be effective.

At high volume, I can see how this would be effective, but way too many ads. That, combined with the extremely loud volume of the ads compared to the voice you were just listening to isn't easy on the ears. I suppose it does what it's supposed to do, for a free app.

Alright, now hear me out, here: even if it doesn't work at messing you up while talking, it definitely improves your tolerance for your own voice. Knowing myself, I'd expect to have trouble with this, given that I usually stutter quite a bit when talking to other people. I give this app a 1 because half the people who have used it can speak perfectly fine. It's got no effect on your speaking whatsoever.

Honestly, nothing happened. I tried different settings and such but it was literally the same all through out. it didn't make me slur or stutter or do anything. I actually don't know what it was supposed to do. it was kinda a waste of time and clearly doesn't work on androids.

Unusable. Delay is too long so it's easy to overcome mild confusion. Also it crashes randomly. It would be great app if you decreased delay and fix app compatibility with newer versions of Android.

Doesn't work with most current version of Android. as soon as I downloaded installed and opened the app I got to pop up saying to check for an update because it doesn't work with the most current version of Android.

Wife and I tried it. No effect. I've read it only effects 20% of people. But when you try to back out the ad plays ridiculously loud. Why on Earth does it need a video ad? Fraudulent!

Really bad experience. The amount of ads is ridiculous, and they even have sound. Not recommended at all just because of that. I get that the app is free, but that doesn't mean that ads should get so in the way of the experience.

I had the sound turned up all the way because I wanted to try it in the middle of the night. The moment that I hit stop, an ad started playing at full volume. I think I have hearing damage now.

Terrible game. Too many ads and it also crashes within 15 minutes of playing. I installed it on another phone, it's the same thing. It barely has any effects on your voice and does not do what was advertised. 0 out of 10 would NOT recommend.

Does what it advertises when it isn't crashing. I played around with the app for 10 minutes and it froze 3 times needing a hard restart each time.

I have otosclerosis, and use this as an assisted listening device, so I can hear what's being said by others. I turn down the volume when I need to speak. This app works better than any others that I have tried.

App stops working after two or three minutes of the screen being off , I tried checking the setting to no success. Bought a different app that works with screen turned off this app no good I'm uninstalling it

Insanely long and frequent ads after every use. Delay on the headphones was way too long as well even after reducing the slider. Garbage.

If the application will work during a telephone conversation, repeating the speech of the interlocutor, then it can be used to counter telephone spam. I have been looking for an application with such functionality for a long time and I am ready to buy it.

This app works so well! If the app doesnt affect ur speach try saying longer frases, raise the volume or use better headphones and raise the delay in the app. Awesome app overall.

Horrible, it doesn't even work. I turned the thing all the way up still didn't work. You just here your self over and over, it does not give you a speech impediment or make you stutter.

I have been looking for an app like this to practice hearing myself speak. For my job I need to use a PA system, but I always start mumbling, and I have thought that to be because I can hear myself with the slightest delay, but I now I can practice speaking with that delay at home!
