Speed Camera Detector Free

Paid for pro version a few years back now it wants me to download a new version of the app it seems outside of the app store and take up a monthly access fee - was happy with the app as it worked well, with good visual and sound warnings of upcoming cameras but not impressed with the changed business model which it seems might be about to ignore the previous pro upgrade I paid for.

Lots of times, even if there is no speed camera this app keeps warning..It is SO annoying. Even if I update, same things happen. If I pay money, would it be so different and accruate??? Hey developers!! Tell me the truth!

Fraudulent app Paid for premium subscription. Now received pop up message to download new app as this app will be discontinued. The new app after login is again asking to pay for premium subscription. Radar bot is fraud and only created to cheat. Google play should blacklist such app.

It was useful for sometime. Now fails to give any notification. On top of that the developer has launched a new app to paid members to pay more/again. Greedy bunch!

Sometimes the updates don't work, so far only problem other then ads are a bit exessive.

As far as I can tell it spots all the cameras on route. I have my phone on with this app running. I never look at it while driving, it gives warning messages every time a camera is imminent. If you do need to look at it its infested with adverts, some are difficult to shift. That's about it. I never bother with its features or its settings. I should try similar apps but cannot be bothered as this is doing ok

Pretty good app but room for improvement. 1. The app always asks if the warning is accurate only options are yes or no. But where there is a camera present but the speed limit is wrong, we cannot give that advice of the actual speed limit. So it may tell us it's a 60kmh zone, but is actually 50 or 40. 2. The camera markers are way too large for the scale of the map. 3. the app doesn't seem to know in which direction the cameras are capturing.

Accurate and finds the camera's you can not see. I had no idea where some of the camera's were located. Amazing app and it can inform you that there is a speed trap ahead, camera's that are above you. I think this app has saved me quite some money for not seeing the unseen and what is ahead. The app even let's you know when the radar is zooming in on your car !

I paid for the pro version, but it keeps saying to turn off battery power management to allow RadarBot to work correctly in the background; there is no option to turn off power management on my smart phone (Samsung Galaxy S10+), only which level of power management I would like. I tried to turn off power management for the RadarBot app, but it still does it; I wouldn't mind if it was a visual warning, but it's an audible warning, through the car speakers; would be nice for override option 🤦‍♂️

Very good app. I like the way it keeps me informed on speed limits and cameras. It gets confused when passing roads with a different speed limit. I'm not sure that much other than a short delay in informing me would help. I'm keen to see if the pro version will display on my car information screen.

Seems to work correctly and notifys if cameras working. The only annoying thing is that it sometimes tells you that new cameras have been added but when you open the app they are nowhere in your area. I suppose they may be on a different part of the country but that's not relevant. Should be able to specify an area you want to know about for new cameras

This is a fantastic App for your Adriod smartphone. It takes seconds to set it up and "throws its voice" from my fast charger located between the front seats....and I don't have a sunroof for the gps signal necessary to make the App work! Reliable messages from the depths, it seems, supplemented by other RadarBot users constant onsite reporting. I think it's just fantastic all for a one off cost of a fiver!!!!

The app does not provide alerts for mobile speed camera sites even though they claim it does. I have added numerous highly utilised local mobile speed camera sites but the app doesn't update so that you receive the alert whenever you're approaching the site. I've contacted the developers on a number of occasions requesting support and some feedback however did not receive a response from anyone. better off looking elsewhere.

It's useful up to a point. Depends on input from other users, so is never quite up to date and in particular tends to accumulate obsolete data, sometimes with out of date speed limit info, e.g. around major roadworks. The voice announcements have terrible intonation - sounds like Eeyore.

I never really give reviews but on this occasion I'm making an exception. This app has probably saved me a fortune in speeding fines well done keep up the good work , add satellite navigation if u can . Combine the 2 would be perfect

Once configured properly it works really well in my car. No problem with sound through car speakers. The only slight issue is I still occasionally get notices of speed cameras on the opposite side of the road. Worth the premium version though.

Promising. You can make the best use of this app. Trial and error is what you need. Otherwise you may feel that the app is not working or it is missing cameras. It has many settings that you may need to try and get used to. I simply activate the app every time I start my car and it then always works well.

works great. i have a fixed speed camera only 2 km. from home. its easy to be thinking of what needs to be done in town and forget your speed. i appreciate the reminder from the app. Well I was happy till I got a speed fine from a fixed speed camera that I was not alerted too. It's useless if it only works on some cameras

I'm yet to use this app to its fill potential, but so far very good. I have a smart rsdio, you know the one 7 inch screen rear/front camera. With a USB lead i can mirror onto the screen and see the cameras live. Hope to see updates and any addition addons in near future .

Got the free version and did not give all it said so finished purchasing the pro version asit gave all. Emailed radarbot who said there was problem but would be fixed with next update - no it was not fixed.so i asked for my money back but they wanted the GPA number but i never got anything with GPA number on it. So i finished up seeking help from pay pal and await final outcome. App is also very unprofessional in that when typing this review on mobile you cannot see what you have typed after a few lines. Do not mind paying so long as it is what it says it is. I think it was also recommended by google!

during the first use it did not give warning while passing by red light camera. next time I have intentionally driven the same way twice. it worked perfectly, and ever since it did not fail. Thank you for your effort. andrew

Its marvellous. I just have to drive without being anxious about speed cameras. If you are approaching the camera at a higher speed than authorized, you are warned until you get the correct speed. I like it.

Your device did not work at all and it also prevented the Google Maps App from functioning compelling me to switch off the Radarbot App. You need to look into the same and also please enclose some guidelines on how the app has to be used and checked for it's functionality.

Useful app. Only annoying feature is a button which pops up on the screen after a camera, almost as if seeking approval for a job well done warning me. That's annoying.
