I have tried many speed tests. This is the only one that seems to be accurate and will match what my provider says I am getting. I like that it keeps a record of past tests if you need proof that you are not getting network speed.
I downloaded this because I used it all the time on iPhone Xs Max and it's a fantastic experience. I gave a low rating initally because download speeds weren't showing on the new Galaxy s10 5G. However I've had great communication and really quick response from the developer who's working to resolve the issue. They're also working on paid version of the app 👍
I've only tried it three times so far. If it's accurate, it's nowhere near fast enough compared to the way it was working. Either there is something wrong with the signal input, or my provider is trying to get me to upgrade. Without the app I would have never known how slow it was, although I have a problem now with my signal dropping out continuously during the day. Wait and see when BT comes to check my connection whether it speeds up again. Good App.
Best broadband test I have tried. Seems very professional and what I also like is it keeps a record of previous tests so you can see just how reliable your service is.. very good
The Android version is NOWHERE near as good. In fact, there no way to get rid of ads on Android version, the real time measurement graphs don't exist here, the map is basically broken compared to iOS, and in general is just klunkier. Neither version does packet loss btw. A little developer effort and this would be the #1 speed test.
Newby works well. Good that it keeps stats on my speed checks for 4g, wifi and cable connections.
Easy to use, does what you expect it to do and is much faster than some of the BIG NAME speed testers I have tried!
Not sure how accurate this is, it doesn't match the results from other speed tests I do in other apps.
Does exactly what it is meant to do. We lose our signal quite often where we live. This app will tell me right away whether it is a hardware problem or a lost signal problem. Displaying bandwidth download speed is also helpful in descerning signal strength.
This app seems to work like it should. Is there a paid, ad-free version?
Great little app. Seems to be very accurate. It is the app that the Xfinity Tech was using to test with.
Great app! When having an internet problem, this app confirms if it's my connection or possibly the source.
Excellent, quick and easy test for wireless speeds around the home
My connection Is fluctuating all the time. The speeds are nothing like the speeds I am paying for from TalkTalk.
Excellent performance for a speed checking app. Accurate, as far as I can tell, and quick to load. I'm not sure if this app has adverts; if it does they must be unobtrusive ... and ineffective as I don't remember them. Highly recommended - 10 out of 10!
So far this is a great speed test app... the only change that will make it better is to show the external IP address. I stand corrected.... does indeed show the external IP...... OK.... so how about showing it on the main testing screen? either above or below the speed circle... Thanks for a nice app.
This is an awesome app, I like being able to select different servers it gives me a better idea of how the network's are actually running and I'm seeing that we aren't experiencing true 5G speeds yet when I compare my 4G LTE speeds against my friends 5G speeds I'm seeing that the network's need lots of improvement particularly at times of the day where network traffic exceeds the capacity and bandwidth necessary to handle all that traffic, this is a great tool to have🤗
Could explain results, basic concepts and operations better. If this app is correct I'm not getting anywhere close to the internet stored I should be through wifi with windstream, or boost mobile 5glte data network. Idk much about determining the true speeds though. So I give you a 3 at this time.
Seems to work great! Quick, clean, user friendly. One HUGE PLUS is the ads are pleasantly placed NON-INTRUSIVELY.., located where you can clearly/easily see, and click on them, while not interfiering with the app, and your experience!
I've tried many with a variety of results, this one has me feeling confident in its ability to give an accurate reading. A telecom engineer working on my wifi system agreed it was a good app.
Well implemented app with lots of servers to choose from. I would give it 5 stars if I could set the default server. The Cedar City, Utah server is closest so is chosen by default but always slower than the other servers I've tried.
Simple. Does exactly what I wanted to do. Find the weak spots for reception and and the move my new Orbi unit to give me the best coverage. also useful in large commercial settings where available signal can really vary.
I would give 10 stars if I coukd!Great app for keeping check on connection speeds. Especially if your on the phone w customer service of internet provider. You can tell them in real time what your connection speeds are. I highly reccomend this app
I like to check the speed I am paying for and SpeedSmart does a great job. I find it to be extremely accurate when comparing to a few of the paid apps without the cost.
The only thing this app does that oklaas speed test doesn't is give you ads that cover the screen and are unexitable for a few seconds. Doesn't really stand out from what's already available and has been for ages. I get you need to make revenue, but again, you can get the same your app gives elsewhere without the invasive ads so there's nothing here to entice me. It's an opinion, so I'm leaving 5 stars not 3.
