This app checks every 7 days for a valid google account so if your not data connected all the time don't get this app. Drives me crazy as I'm only on data when at home. Just driving out in the morning and it checks and wont run for the rest of the day.. Then I have to remember to run the app when I'm driving to bed that night..?
Well its not bad at all ... but I dont like the txt on the main screen ... it wasnt on the free one ... get rid of it into the help section an ya get 5 stars
Very nice graphics and easy operation. Desperately needs configurable speed margin for alarm. Also a background mode that just alarms when speed exceeded would be great. Problem: speed change 'sites' too large - driving past a site 20 metres away on a different road, at right angles triggered incorrect speed change.
I learned from the developer today that if your phone is not connected to Google for a week, then it can't check for a valid license and the app won't work. You just get a "Not Licensed!" message. My phone only uses Wi-Fi so this may not be an issue for 3G internet enabled phones. That said, I can't really imagine wanting to use the app somewhere where I'm out of range of a Wi-Fi connection for a week but worth bearing in mind.
Works well, as descibed. The nag screen to go Pro (on the free version) was annoying...and initially put me off using the app ( first installed/removed a few months ago). The option to save zones was enough to encourage me to go pro (no nagging required). As others have said, could be a bit louder on my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (is much louder on my Galaxy S3?). The option to backup/restore (share) the waypoints would be a big bonus.... and will get you 5 stars. A facebook/twitter like or share option would also be good to help promote the app. This little app deserves much wider recognition.
Have been using this app for a while now, you wont find one better... extremely effective, works like a charm
No good set at100 kph or above. Indicates 99 kph and does not sound alarm when you exceed 100 kph even when doing 130 kph.
Hi only issue is that it stops working after the 100 limit. There's no alert for 110.
Wish all the waypoints could be saved and shared. This would make the app more popular and increase sales. There's a lot this developer could add to this app but it appears he is not interested in doing so.
Loving the stored speed limits but doesn't seem to work in the background, ie when using maps. My last trip was missing 45km, about 10%. Doesn't do much for fuel economy calculations.
Great app! Saving tickets. Suggestion for next version: - option for a digital speedometer - louder alarm - magrin between speed limit and alarm
I had to get a replacement phone I when I reinstalled it and it won't work
This app works great. The speed change buttons are very easy to use. The analog speedo is ok but it would be nice to have a digital speed option. The speed alert sound is good but if volume could be louder or be a customized sound for the user to choose.
I drive on a construction site with super strict speed rules; app saves my job! agree with other reviewer for future upgrades; large digital display and maybe a discreet 'youre getting close' alarm.
Good but I wish it was updated more often.
This is a great app for checking spead against your speedometer or just about anything.
Does EXACTLY what it says
Would like to be able to export and edit the speed limit settings, so that I can keep the same settings on different Android devices. Would like to finetune some of the settings, offline, as well. Otherwise - an excellent product. Samsung Galaxy Tab and Garmin-Asus A10.
Very helpful! Needs to keep working when the backlight turns off though!! **Nice! Thanks for the super fast response and update!
Needs more than five speed limit settings (8 or 10 would be good). Or, ability to save current actual speed as the speed limit fot this savedlocation.
Works great this app will quickly pay for itself by saving me from speeding tickets
Nice clean UI, but horrible speed lag, I can exceed 20mph sometimes before the app even moves off zero! Not much good if you have exceeded the limit before the alert sounds, defeating the entire point of the app!
