Speedo On - Swim Tracking App

I like the concept and will keep using the app, but it is very far from being pleasant to use. Load times are very bad, many times the app doesn't even load at all. And it doesn't seem like timezones are handled on the dashboard. I clearly had a swim logged on the 1st of Jan in AU, which was shown in the history, but was not taken into account on the dashboard. If the app will keep improving, I will be happy to change my rating in the future!

For an app that is supposed to cater for advanced swimmers, this is very poor.i have used this for some time, but have found it to be unwieldy and inflexible. I have it connected to a samsung gear fit pro 2. whilst the watch is accurate, the syncing to the app is very poor as now it does not put the correct date and time on the app. Two recent sessions have synced to dates that are in advance of the present date. sort yourselves out Speedo!

This app is terribly inaccurate. I have had a ticket open with Speedo for nearly two months. Not only is the distance that is recorded during a swim incorrect, after syncing a swim with the app on my phone my total distance, SWOLF, and the pool length are changed. This essentially makes the app useless. Edit 11/14/2018: The swim tracker built into the Samsung workout application is excellent! I don't understand how Speedo On is so inaccurate using the same hardware.

It was working very well till the last update. I can't sync my Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro anymore. The smart band is connected but it still does work. I tried everything, cleaning the App cache and data. Reinstalling on both phone and Gear Fit2 Pro. I don't get the 4 digit anymore during installation which I got the first time I did the upgrade. The only way to record my swim is to do it manually. Can you please tell me what to do?

If I could give it less than one star, I would. (Using with Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro) Had it since June 2018. It was OK until the most recent update. Now it can't count laps right during my long swims. (I think it resets at some random max lap count). I also tried to just set a pool (distance) swim - but the math is all wrong because it always thinks I am in a 22 yard pool no matter how many times I set it to 25 yards!

Data is not accurate. When I deleted workouts that were in error, data was still kept in system, so I could not get rid of unearned badges or overstated calories burned. I entered a distance of 256 yards, and it kept saying it was 257 yards, despite multiple attempts to change it. All of above drove me nuts.

Not great! The accuracy is a big disappointment as it counts far too many lengths than actually completed. 25m pool x 10 lengths = 400m?!?! (using with the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro). The app is not particularly smooth and I can't view any of my notifications on the app. My heart rate and SWOLF don't sync properly. For such a big a name in swimming, Speedo have really let themselves down. Such a shame that it can't link with Strava. Please release the next app update quickly Speedo... PLEASE!

Absolutely useless. This app connected to my Samsung Gear Sport for one swim and I've never been able to sync the data to my SpeedoOn account. Now it wont even connect to my watch, so deleting. The results were completely inaccurate anyway and there is no option to add a pool smaller than 20m. Who would actually pay for this app, I just dont know. If the free version is this bad, why would you pay?

Highly in accurate counting 2 laps instead of 1 also can't read notifications on app. Was expecting an amazing app from Speedo! But disappointed instead! If Speedo could make it work and be a hell of lot more accurate I will use it again but at the moment it's messing my swim times and laps

It worked ok for months but now the app content has stopped loading over the past few days and I'm unable to progress my Speedo On training plan because: Application error An error occurred in the application and your page could not be served. If you are the application owner, check your logs for details. You can do this from the Heroku CLI with the command heroku logs --tail

Terrible app. Really inaccurate measurements with samsung fit 2 pro. I'll be using the less sophisticated Samsung app from now on. At least it gets the number of lengths right. I really don't understand why Speedo don't sort ot out - really bad for their reputation and hugely frustrating and a waste of time for us.

For some reason the app crashes on my new Samsung Fit2 Pro. I wasnt able to use it as every time I try to record a new swim it goes back to the home screen. It does not even let me set the pool lengh.

after update this year, it is harder to sync the swims. and notifications doesn't show anything even though it says I have 10 new ones. Speedo On doesn't sync (March 12, 2019). the on.speedo website doesn't work. What's happenning Speedo?

At the moment, samsung gear fit 2 pro and this app are useless, such a waste of money. I keep getting sync errors and unpairing an dlots of other stuff. I hope they fix it soon. It only worked flawlesssly for the first two weeks

On my gear fit 2 pro, the speedo on app is not accurate at all, 0:23 second for a 50m? My normal 50m took me about 1min. This is unacceptable. But when using samsung gear fit2 app, it works great. I believe is the speedo ON app issue, not a hardware problem. Speedo, please fix the app for gear fir 2 pro please. I am hoping that i can use speedo ON app, which it contain many challenges and goals for me to set as target. But if it still doesn't work perfectly like the samsung app does, then thats no point for me to use Speedo ON app on my gear fit 2 pro. PLEASE I believe I am not the only one here got this issue, please fix it, thanks!

I love this app when it works, unfortunately my Samsung gear fit doesn't always sync my swims to the app even though it is connected. Also, if I disconnect the gear it is very difficult to reconnect to the app on the phone...

When this app works it's useful however Speedo needs to hire some real experienced coders because this app is unstable, synchronization between the watch and the cell does not work well. Trying to get the app to synchronize is close to Impossible

Since update on Samsung Gear Sport watch to 2.0.0 absolutely rubbish. Accuracy is much worse than before. For example 2000m swim only recorded 1150m. Also app can no longer connect to watch, have to do through web (So why have an app?).

Pathetically, shockingly bad app. Won't connect, and the "upgrade" now routinely closes down, rendering it unusable. As a result, I'll be returning my Samsung Fit 2. You all should be embarrassed.

DO NOT UPDATE YOUR WEARABLE samsung s8 with gear fit 2 pro speedo on built into gear fit now doesnt work. try to open, does that for half a second them reverts back to the previous screen. FFS! now i hav le to resetthe watch just to get the previous speedo version back up and running

Application stopped working few days ago. Unabled synchronisation with smart watch, app cannot connect to Speedo server. (Something went wrong,try it again). Reinstalled app appears having the same problems with server connection.

Useless. Cannot log in "something went wrong, try again" is the only response. App not updated for over 2.5 years so obviously Speedo have no interest in it. At least as a club member it does help me decide which brand to buy and recommend. Speedo won't be in that category.

Great app concept but so inaccurate. I am using with Samsung gear fit 2 pro and after just 3/4 lengths of a 25 metre pool it keeps telling me I've done masses more like 125m or even 350 today! Tried resetting and checking my settings but no joy.

Purchased a Samsung Gear Fit 2 specifically for this app. The app does not work on the watch and just crashes everytime you select any menu item.
