Speedometer GPS Pro

I want it to start and stop when required, not just run at all times. Who thought that was a good idea? Ever heard of a stop button, I don't often review apps but this one is one of the most annoying ever!

Pretty much useless. Kept failing to find GPS. If you go to the map view and your phone is in landscape you can't get back to the main page without picking your phone up and turning it portrait. Not user friendly at all. Could not work out how to save journeys on it when it did work. No wonder its now free. Deleted.

Pointless since you can't save any trips. What is the point of having this app "record" your trip when there is no way to save anything. All you can do is start a trip and pause it. No option to end the trip and actually log the trip. It boasts all these fancy export features that are useless without being able to save data.

Restore option can't properly (0%) 'import' the GPX file from another app (Geo Tracker in my case). Is it because the XML Elements does not match? Do I need to manually edit other app GPX to match the elements from a working backup of this app?

The app seems to be really good and the speed appearing on top of Google maps a is also great. However I was really wanting it to appear on top of Google maps when using Android Auto, which it does not. To be fair it never claimed to do this.

Great app if it works the way literally any other app should. I uninstalled it today. I DON'T WANT IT TO START AUTOMATICALLY and ADD A WAY TO EXIT THE APP. Double tap a spot or something. Come on. If nothing else have these as options. Someone running this on a tablet in their car, may want the app to start automatically and never need to exit. I run this on my personal phone and unless I'm traveling this has no use 49 wks out of the year.

Works great on older android versions. Has problems with Android 10 (Q). I have a new Pixel 3 with Android Q. Old phone was Samsung S5 with android 5.0. Everything worked great with it.The problem is with the screen timeout. the S5 has a default screen timeout of 15 seconds and GPS Pro has a timeout of 15 minutes. It works as set. The Pixel 3 has a screen timeout of 15 seconds but when I set GPS Pro to 15 minutes like the S5 and start the program the screen turns off in 15 seconds. I go back into GPS Pro settings and the screen timeout is back at Default Screen Timeout. Changing permissions for GPS Pro to allow it to change the settings for timeout results in GPS Pro to keep the screen on for 15 minutes also changes the system default to 15 minutes. Not good. Now I have a paid app that won't work on a new phone. If the developer reads these reviews I hope he has a fix. Now I have a new phone and I have to find a new app that will work with it. 5 stars on Android 5.00 but only 1 star on Android 10 (Q)

Everything is good with this app but missing one feature - Should have feature to alert when you cross a set speed limit. Speed limit to be customized so the users can set the required speed and beep when they cross it. Also find my car is not always accurate.

Easy to switch to mph by tapping the mph button below the LCD graphic (where the odometer would be on a real speedometer). I especially like the option for bicycle speeds, and the speed chart to check my history. Excellent app!

This app is terrible because it often cannot use the satellites that it can I get n fact identify. The app can show me driving which means it can draw data from the satellites but then it won't register any speed because it has not put any satellites "in use.". I regret having spent money to buy this poor app.

This app will destroy your battery. Runs in the background. Unable to shut down unless force stopped in phone settings. Shame, the ui interface is pleasant and easy to use but without a battery.....

It would appear that this app runs continuously with a notification to say so. It cannot be stopped by swiping up. Refunded.

License Fixed Thanks || It was showing as not licensed for me at last update. I got the pro version before the app got kicked from Google while it was been offered for free. Now it is telling me to exit or buy & when I click buy it brings me back to the store just to open the app again. Vicious cycle. I won't pay for an app that I already had access to the pro version of. Fix ASAP or it was a scam to force people who were lucky enough to get the pro version while been on a free promotion to pay.

The crappiest GPS related app ever! You pay to get it and then you are being offered with in app purchases to get functionality that other apps do it for free and a lot better!

The app is permanent in satelite search mode. Not poss to switch off, even when the app is closed.... this will drain the accu.

Why I uninstall this app? Well, this app runs in the background every time I restart my phone. Even if I force to close, this app try to run once again in the background.

It WAS great and then the map just started drawing straight lines from start to finish...

There doesn't appear to be any way including settings or language to switch it from km/h to mi/h. If there is a way it should be more intuitive.

there's no option to turn it off and no settings menu to configurate the app to ur needs. no way to reset the timer, it runs the whole time. even when u dont need it.

Works well but insists on starting automatically and always running in the background draining the battery so I uninstall it until i have a need for it.

The best app that I needed for this sort of stuff. I am using it for my electric scooter etwow to check the real kph. Thanks guys for opening my eyes and discovering the real metrics. Also. The user interface is cool and helpful.
