Speedometer & Odometer - TripMaster Car and Bike

I downloaded 6 or more of these and played around with each of them quite extensively. There are some minor features that I saw on other apps such as an indicator for incline grade, but they all either weren't accurate enough, weren't nearly as cool looking, not many options to customize. The way I see it, if I can't fully enjoy the free app, what is motivating me to upgrade? This one was the best hands down. The set up is cool, accurate, and I have no issue closing it when I'm finished with it

I installed the app on my double din Android car stereo with GPS. It's the only app whose display was large enough to easily be used with the touch screen display. The large display option is easy to read with its large, simple layout. The color options really help with the readability of the display. Having the compass on screen is a nice addition. Adding the accuracy of the GPS speedometer helps me keep my speed in check. This is a company truck and our speed is monitored.

I tried a few of these type of apps and uninstalled them moments after installation. This one, however, I was very impressed with! The screens are crisp and clear; functionality is simple, straight forward and quite accurate. I have a Genesis R-Spec with the speedometer located to the left on my dash instead of the right which gives me a paralax view of my speed. I now use my smartphone (oxymoron) and this app instead to view my speed. I love using the HUD while driving at night.

I have had this app for about six months now. I use it exclusively on my bicycle and I ride 10 - 20 miles a week. I was looking for a simple device. Really I just wanted a speedometer and a resettable trip meter. It is that with nice graphics. Also gives me time, battery life, and direction of travel. It could prob be set up for more, but that is enough for me. There was a learning curve, which I may still be in, but it isn't that complicated. I like the app and I'm happy to give it 5 stars.

my major complaint is having to force stop this application. functionality otherwise is as expected and seems to work well. if there is a way to get it to close without having to force stop I'll be happy to update this review. Update: just learned something new about how Android works! Thank you DS Software! 100% recommend this app, fully satisfied with display, functionality, and accuracy. I would give 6 stars if i could, as the response from the developer proves they are still engaged.

Bought the $2.49 version and the app mirrored, so all of the text and numbers and everything were all backwards. Not sure what happened with that but i reinstalled and now it is playing ads every 5 or 6 taps? Terrible app, don't think I've seen such buggy software before. I'll gladly accept a $2.49 loss as long as this review saves anyone else from having to waste their money.

Great work, but could the odometer not be user settable, like other e-bike riders I like to keep an up to date record for battery reasons. The problem is I have to keep my old computer running as well as this one to keep my odo up to date it would be great to input the data from the old one into this so I only have to use one.

this app is just ad after ad after ad they say it doest show whilst your driving but that is a lie , it's not light on ads ether it's full of them. it's not just an ad at the botom of the screen I'm a banner like most apps it's your full screen , it's a push ad so it's 1 dangerous and 2 annoying , get rid of the push ads and put it into a banner ad and you'll have more downloads and likes an d you'll be able to advertise all the time making you extra cash but stop the full screen ads it's annoyin

Hey, purchased this and it works ok... Edited: It's a fine application, looks cool. Can customize the colors and stuff. The only thing I got a problem with is the time it takes for the GPS to connect. Sometimes it takes like 4-5 minutes. But once it's connected it works fine.

Fantastic, accurate and smooth. Thanks!! Only 2 small questions though... how do you reset the trip meter? And.. when the app is exited.. the gps is still connected so it runs up the trip meter.. how do you turn that off without having to force stop the app to ensure its off?? Cheers.

Installed program. Went up & down stairs to the basement 2x & it said that I'd travelled .5 miles. Left it on & went the grocery store 1.5 mi away. Shut it off (completely manually) & when I turned it on again it would not function! Response - I tried it on my bike & IT DID NOT WORK JUST FINE! I've had other programs where the GPS worked fine inside.

I installed TripMaster. I opened TM and Google Maps. Facing north...Google says north...TM says south. Customization is pretty good...but I can't trust the app if it can't tell north. Sadly uninstalled. 😕 S21 FE Edit - thanks for the reply from the developer. I'll try again while moving.

Updated review: I like this app and appreciate the developers responding to my review and providing me with instructions to close the app fully. Of the 4 apps that i have tried they all seem to have accurate speed readings, however this is the only one that has an accurate and progressive odometer.

I've been using it for almost three weeks and so far so good. The only thing is thay the alarm when you get faster than the limit is too soft or almost imperceptible.

Sure beats trying to endlessly find a bicycle accessory with all these necessities in one as opposed to having each one, which can be pricey, strapped on to your handlebars and all the wires and sensors crisscrossing around you and your just trying to ride and enjoy the day with your bicycle.

I would have given an outstanding 5 stars. I was able to read my speed for the first 5 hours then after download. After wards it was not getting any satellite reading. Every thing loads just fine but then no satelitte reading.

Ad when closing the app? When I close an app, I don't want to wait 30 seconds for a loud ad. I don't mind an ad, but forcing me to wait while exiting is enough to uninstall.

It is sooo awesome. .. such a great app.... Would tell anyone without a speedometer or odometer to get this specific app!!!!! They are great especially with all the fixes and upgrades made it just that much better!!!!

I purchased this app on a put on my other phone and all of a sudden now it's quit doing satellite feed it keeps saying no satellites available but I put it on another phone and it works just fine not sure what's going on I even paid for the subscription

Looked like a good app with lots of instructions for use, but missing how to turn it off. I gave up figuring out how, so had to uninstall.

Finally! A speedometer app that works without a lot of intervention, or ads while you are driving all the information you need right there. The more I use it the more I like it!

I do like the units but it's set miles instead Km\h so I set to km\h because I'm living in Canada so can you add a second in a 12h format into the clock feature. But it's ok to set to miles but I don't use that unit.

Super app, easy to use, perfect when I do any tour with my bikes or electric unicycle.

Very good app. Am in love with the accuracy of the speedometer and the fact that the app can record the speed and distance covered in a given journey
