Spellblade: Match-3 Puzzle RPG

It's a very good game! It could use more updates. More levels, too. And proofreading. ("He's" instead of his, "vengence" instead of vengeance, "looses" instead of loses, etc...) The creepy crawlies aren't my thing, either. But I do like how the characters are set and unlockable, instead of randoms from a lottery-style drawing. I also like how you're allowed to make as many matches as you can. The graphics are nice, too! Cons aside, this truly is one of the best mobile games I've ever played!

Ahhh, finally a puzzle RPG without awful base building! I love Artifex Mundi's adventure games, so I was excited to play this. Only weird issue I have is on the equipment screen when you're not in a dungeon, the sides of the screen are cut off a little bit on both sides. I hope they fix that soon.

I like the core Match 3 mechanics (which is like ToS with a few tweaks). Too bad good things end here. The whole game is UNBELIEVABLY SHALLOW. Monotonous gameplay. Graphics so generic that there are literally nothing to like about characters or adversaries. Put some sketchy cardboard-style pieces instead of elaborate 3D - and it will get only better. UI shaved of any beauties, lets make some bald blue panels, they said. Needs balancing too: I was out of energy before I was out of tutorial.

EDIT: no longer updated, downgraded to 1 star. I like the twist on the match 3 rpg. Each character has various strengths and weaknesses and a combination of colors instead of just having a team of characters doing one thing. I have only given it 4/5 because it takes too long to regenerate energy and the amount of energy per battle keeps going up. I will downgrade this review one star for each energy consumption above 7. Having > 1/5th your total energy taken per battle is a little absurd

I really wish you can fix the crashes after like 10 levels, it's a very addicting game up until it crashes & force close, when I try get back to that level it repeats which makes it impossible to beat & pass the stage. Please fix the crashes! I really loved the game & the style of play, the crashes make it unable to continue stage 10 & just repeats itself when I get back go it

Now I would originally give this a four, but there's still story missing after over 3 years since this game was made GDPR compliant. I'll keep playing it just to level up all my characters(one of which is missing because it's locked behind the content that was supposed to come) because I want to see the true extent of their power. HOWEVER. This needs to have the final levels in place so we can see the end of the story. What do we need to pay in order for this game to be finished?

Almost perfect. It never crashed, however it was missing a character image, got caught stuck in a puzzle once because there were no combinations available, hints were false ... and there should be a survival mode just for comparing scores whereas to continue costs 1000, then 2500, then finally 6000.

The new update that resets progress adds an insultingly annoying tutorial, gets rid of the customizable gear, and gets rid of the different difficulty levels, or at the very least hids them until you make a certain level of progress. They took the more annoying parts of Puzzles and Empires and made a decent game into a bad clone.

I love this game because it's the only match 3 RPG of its kind that doesn't make me slog through tedious base building or card collecting mechanics. That said, it hasn't been updated in two years and doesn't fit current devices right, so I really can't give it more than three stars.

I like it far as offline to play but far as being online wished you had a sign in bonus like a chest to open up or something for coins it's time consuming far as getting built up stronger for the cards as it is if you run into a hard level you have to repeat other levels for awhile to get to that point and waste stability the xtra play time add some better features to at least watch some ads if you need to that would brighten up the game and you also will have more people playing

Very nice game with beautiful graphics, animations and game mechanics. The only issue is the screen resolution (some elements go off the screen) on my Galaxy Note 9. please fix then I'll give 5 stars.

The only problem I have so far is that the game's aspect ratio do not fit the screen of my phone. The of left and right sides are cut-off. Like, literally all I can visibly see is "el 5" which probably implies that I'm Level 5.

The interface stretches beyond the screen size of the phone. Making it difficult to make edge moves. Sent an email to technical support and it was sent back as undeliverable to that e-mail address.

Finally the first game like this that is offline and has good graphics. Its like a dream come true though i wish the game was finished and i cant wait to get my sixth hero. I would highly recommend this game and good job to the developers. I hope to see games like this on the future.

Great game the only problem is it needs to be updated. The next levels have the words coming soon hovering over where they are supposed to be...... For at least 2 maybe three years now! Come on guys ad some more levels! Please!!!

Game doesn't work properly on 18:9 screens on Pie, and the dev's response is "We've decided to focus on different projects, but maybe in the future we will decide to update that game. By the way - have you tried our another free to play games like Bladebound or Tiny Dragons? " Seriously? I'm reporting a bug and the response is to advertise a different game to me that isn't really similar? If you guys are "focusing on different projects" it would be proper to label this app as legacy and let people know it's no longer actively supported. I think I'm done with this dev house.

This is a great game. You can move more than one gem per turn allowing you to make huge combos. The game ain't much monetized. There is no ads. I strongly recommend it.

Energy consumption to play is way to high. I have 24 energy, and each match takes 5 energy, so i can play at most 5 minutes or less. I wanted to buy ingame items, but how can i spend 100 bucks for 5 minutes of gameplay. Are you kidding me? Remove stupid energy consumption and let us play as much as we want. 👎👎👎

I love your game its super awesome with the graphics only thing I would like to see is a login bonus of some kind for coins its along journey to build up your heros from doing past levels far as the game being offline I really like that set up because every online game has server problems yours I can play anywhere anytime as long as I have my banners to play lol nice job creating this game am very pleased

Nice game, but the tutorial needs to show more. Couldn't get past the second stage of the third section. Beef up the tutorial and you'll have a great game.

I love this game! Gameplay, graphics, everything is just awesome. The only negative is that it hasn't been updated a while! Please, keep the updates coming cuz this game is so much fun. Some of the bosses are challenging but that's part of the fun. Keep it up!

Game needs updating with more levels!!! Wish someone would take this as a concept and remake it so that the full game is available because this game is so addictive i have to keep uninstalling and installing to restart over installing please somebody finish this off or send me link to find the full game much appreciated.... ☺

good game, just wish they would update and add levels also, either add more levels for heroes or creat something so we can use the additional tokens. have 9 Paladin tokens I cannot use.

The game doesn't fit your screen, many issues i have with this game but the one and only positive, would b the chain moves you can create...

Really good match 3, but not content and hard to advance. Lots of grinding. Not really pay to win much and thats good but you can spend if you want. Needs more heroes.

I suppose the game thinks my screen is wider because some buttons and features are off screen on the left, right, and bottom. Making this game completely unplayable on the Samsung s10e
