SpellForce: Heroes & Magic

Good solid game, feels more like an early access kind of game. Seems like a good combination of King's bounty and Homm games. Needs more variety (in buildings and units, spells, skills, etc). The adventure mode with the challenges definitely needs a plot. Overall a good game with the potential to be a great game. Will be definitely looking up for the updates on this.

Much potential, but still too buggy. Don't appear to be able to transfer progress between devices. Need to log in to Google Play manually every time you start. Need to refine character balance. Don't end up using more advanced characters as takes too much time to get them. Game over before then. Concept is good, much like HOMM. Excellent maps. Updated to 4 stars, as in spite of the issues, it's still a really good game, and I'm still playing it.

In all fairness its a good game. It's like how games used to be before pay to play came along. I have encountered a few bugs but its new its expected! My only let down with it so far is there is a complete lack of a story and if you kill the enemy hero that's it youve won i didn't even get the chance to explore the other side of the map. oh well looking forward to future updates.

Nice game so far, I can definitely see great potential here as long as they keep working on the game and introduce more content. Edit: After hours of playing, the game itself is starting to become very repetitive and boring. No story or anything and combat is the exact same strategy over and over again. AI is extremely predictable. I dropped to 3 star for that and may drop it further. As it is, it's currently not worth the money spent.

This is an OK turn-based strategy game. You start with a city in a province and conquer other cities to gain control of their provinces. Each province can only be accessed through a stronghold, so your movement is restricted. You have armies, rather than individual units, and the battles are on the same hex map with the occasional obstacle. You have a hero unit and all your units can level up. Most units also have equippable items you can change or upgrade. It was alright, but nothing special.

This game could be so much better, need to make a bigger scenario. There's no challenge in normal, but in hard is too difficult. Only can select 2 opponents. It would be amazing if it was like Age of Empires, giving you time to build a huge warzone with unforeseen scenarios happening between. More action, maybe even cards or special items mixed in the map that could advanced civilization faster. By the way giving the possibility to make a mix of civilization and AoE

I'm all for supporting games with clear monetization mechanic, at the same time this is a sloppy job. And while free GaaS have second chances, I believe full games can't be sold at beta states. No wide screen support, bugs, lack of basic features like increasing game speed (homm in 90s had those, cmon guys). Feels like development was a rocky road, this is a rushed product with mismanagement and/or lack of needed technical proficiency. I want to love this game, hope it does better with patches.

I love (and own) Spellforce PC games.. so it's quite interesting to have a mini version on mobile. It currently lacks tutorial on how the game works (kinda guess on the game mechanics to play). Started playing Adventure Mode. Wondering what happened to levelled up heroes though. So far enjoying the game although a touch slow in collecting resources..

I shouldn't have bought the game. It was disappointing. The game has three almost identical "campains" - Human, Orc and Dark Elf. Finished the human one only to find that the Orc one has almost identical quests and map. Same for the Dark Elf one. Enemies are different but they're positioned at identical places. Combat is a bit buggy. All this with the lack of a storyline makes it feel unfinished and rushed.

So far so good. I played the PC version a lot so this one came as a pleasant surprise. No major issues so far, it only broke once. In terms of gameplay, I find it difficult to protect the garrisons when playing a large map, so can you take into consideration the possibility of teleport from castle to castle for defending purposes?

This game is soooooo much fun. No ads or in app purchases makes it even better. My only 2 quarrels' is the predictably of the NPC, but that is expected when playing against AI. 2nd: is their definition of allying is simply conquering a race and being able to recruit their troops. It would be a lot of fun if it was possible to actually form alliance with another race that fights on it's own. Please update game more. Please don't let it die! So fun! All in all very fun game!!!! Make another one!!

More Heroes of Might and Magic than SpellForce, really, with little to set it as definitively SpellForce-related. The ability to equip individual units with different gear adds a touch of Disciples: Sacred Lands, and the reduced mobility on the main map doesn't do it any favours. The graphics still beat its competitors, though...

Beautiful graphics and good design, but very repetitive gameplay. Every town is the same, surrounded by the same enemies and same buildings. No variety.

The gameplay is here, but I wish there was a dedicated onscreen option to close out and report a bug. My copy is a chore to play from the constant freezing and odd occurrences. Assume fixes are coming over the next few months

Not quite ready. Interesting concept (HOMM 3 ish) but buggy. Touch controls fail after a few minutes (strange offset to where screen is touched) - leaving game stuck. Needs bug fixes, but could be good. Love the lack of micro transactions. Could also benefit from more guidance/tutorial.

lots of potential, gameplay is interesting. needs lots of optimization. -games freezes during battles randomly - touches dont accurately register on screen, especially multi touch zoom can't wait to see future bug fixes and content and re-review the final product Phone- Galaxy note 8 android OneUI cheers

I'm having a great time playing this game. I wish more would be added to it, but I doubt anything will.. It says the last update was in 2019. Some people say the harder difficulty of adventure is impossible, but it's not. Sometimes the best option is to defend your territory until you have built up strength.

Update: Customer service is terrible, I was promised a refund, due to the errors below and their unwillingness to even try to fix. But I have yet to receive anything. Game does not even work. I literally just purchased this game, after trying it out on Google Play Pass and it doesn't load. I try to play the game and it just freezes then crashes. I demand either reimbursement or this game be fixed. Do not buy this game until this issue is resolved.

I was looking for a good HMM style game and I finally found it. I like the innovative features and battle mode. The fact that there is no in-game purchases or unwanted adds is a big plus. Great work!!!

Found out it doesn't work with a screen overlay on. Tutorial is terrible and controls are janky and not as smooth as I'd like. I definitely see potential here though.

Game crashing. nice game, intresting to play but to kill some mobs is imposible, fight stucks. and you can do nothing, just restart game. And the same and the same with the same mob. Fix it. It realy not nice when you pay cash and cant play. First 2 anventures maps was ok. 3rd mab killing me... fix.

Great game, I have been having lots of fun! It just released so has its bugs. I was playing the game and my app closed when I was in a fight.. then my current progress got bugged and I can't do anything. I will give a better review depending how the support team helps with this.

Game is broken, downloads icon no game game was easily 5 stars until that. I've tried on several different devices, on a factory restored pixel 2xl. It'll download from the store then error on the game side downloading. I've emailed several times with no reply.

This game looks great but all of the print is SOOOOO pointlessly tiny. I quit playing because I was incredibly annoyed by the tiny print in the instructions. Otherwise it would be a 4 or 5 star game.

This is not a team or PVP game. No ratings or score boards. Once you loose a battle you start back at the beginning. No explanation of how things work. Battles are clunky and remind me of old DOS based computer games. Just nothing that's worth investing the time to push through this game only to start over every time.

Decent strategy and worth the cost to buy. Camera bug as you can not directly zoom onto units. Needs a custom battle mode. Good graphics for mobile.
