Spider Solitaire

I actually used to recommend Branium to other people until this new version or upgrade came out. Now I barely rate it a 1 star. Every time the game is paused or the screen is exited out of, when you return, it's severely small and can't see it to even play. So then you have to exit out of the game and try playing it again. I downloaded it 3 different times thinking maybe it was my phone or it was interrupted but nope it does it every time. So I Uninstalled it and went with a very different ap

Game was great for a long time but recently if I stop for a bit, when I bring it back up to continue the hand or start the next hand, suddenly the cards shrink and only about 2/3rds of each card is visible. The only fix that I have found is to sign out of the Game and re-start where I left off. It is really frustrating, as it even happens if I finish a hard and put my phone down long enough for my phone to turn off!

I have been playing this game and enjoying it for a long time. Within the month, the game has changed on my chrome pc where it looks completely different and no longer playable. The cards are missing numbers, most identifiable. The arrangemeny is the same. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. The first game looks normal but after that all new games are a jumble. I do not find this on my android phone which works as it always had. I would love to use it again on my PC.

played for past year, no ads, no problems. then suddenly got freezes and sudden closeouts. uninstalled, then reinstalled as recommended by branium support. now, game works fine, but the ads have become so intrusive. I wait for ad to diplay, then hit the X,then I am instantly rerouted to amazon play store, and have to close out playstore several times before i am allowed back to new spier game. i never had these hijacking ads before. if there is no fix i will have to stop playing this.

Once I modified the card backs and background, I paid less attention to my win-loss record. 5/13/22 Again the updates of a favorite app screwed it up. I play one game and then the cards are no longer legible on the second game. They shrink. If I can't play it without leaving the game and coming back, every time, I won't play it. Uninstalling.

I like that it moves quickly and it isn't as loud and noisy and brass as some of the other games are. I have a sensitivity to sound and this one works. I wish the cards are a little bit bigger but can't have everything it that's poor eyesight not the games fault.

I keep this on all my devices; if I get bored with my other games or run out of lives, I can always play Spider. I like that there are many different backgrounds and card back styles to choose from and I don't have to depend on any other players to play as long as I want. no glitches, very few ads, can play offline.

Like another reviewer, I had to replace my old phone which died and got a new phone. And then reinstalled Spider by Brainium again. I had loved and played this other version for literally years and had made it to well over +8 million points (which would have been nice to transfer to new installation). I like this version and plan on keeping it even though it feels a little different. Will update after giving it a reasonable play time for what changed.

"Smooth rules of play as well as enough challenge to exercise my brain." Thank you for directing me to "Options" to fix the glitch that required filling in all spaces before adding cards. All is well now. Just the way I like it.👍😁 Update: have a new phone. Can't find "Options" to change that issue again.

You've totally screwed up the game I really liked. First of all, cards were shrunken so that I had to close, go to games, hit play, wait for it to come up again. Then I could play until the next time. Since I play this game between turns at Word, that's a lot of times of having to go around about to get to where I want to be. Then you pop up with update required. Choice of Yes or No. Both choices take you to the same place. Update. Get Klondike. Not same. I'm uninstalling you.

Love this app! My favorite! Ads are not intrusive and you have unlimited undos! Other apps you have to watch an ad to undo much of anything! This is uninterrupted playing! Love it!

PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE!!! The game is good and all, but whenever I finish a game, I immediately go to click on the deck of cards on top to start a new game. I just think it's intuitive and should be implemented.

My only complaint is that there are many more repetitive ads than there used to be. I understand the need for ads but my word "repetitive" was missed! 4 or more of same ad in a row is an irritation.

Been playing for a long time now, a great game, never had any trouble but had update and now when playing the game after about 3 to 5 changes of deck the deck changes for a pack of cards that are unreadable. The game is now unusable.

Great options good game, tolerable apps in free version. I'M a Brainum apps fan, apps I can trust no issues. Brainy make more great apps.....Febuary 2022 where did the free multiple suit play Go?????what happened???? Still love Brainum apps. Please return free multiple suit options.

This is my favorite style of solitaire. I agree that the intrusive ads that don't take no for an answer are too much to deal with. Uninstalled the game as a result. It's a shame.

since 2021 the game is not the same . it just moves cards for you . Its like what is going on. Its that way with all games irritating. you have now done more to the game just not fun anymore. tired of your games really. you had to play with it. it was fun it was relaxing now you want it to be a big deal to win. You can have I am out.

It works just as well as any Spider game, with the advantage of being able to make obvious moves with a single click instead of always having to drag and drop.

Ever since yesterday when I leave a game and come back the cards are suddenly larger showing only a quarter of the card and the suits are now some weird looking symbols. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game (losing all my game stats) and still the weird cards. What has happened to the game?

Today the look of the game changed. Cards are smaller and more cluttered. I'm finding it slower to play because of this. I'm off to find a better version. I really liked the old one.

Hi I also loved the old version. Just got a new phone and was anxious to play...and realize..it's totally different. I actually Uninstalled it. I will just wait until wifi to transfer my old version over.

It's a challenging and easy-to-play game with the ability to take back any or all moves and thus to try different ways to solve each game. You must endure the ads for other games that don't take "no" for an answer, repeat the solicitation after you "X" out of the first window, and which don't learn from repeated rejections. But those ads come before and not during play, and not every time you play. Downgraded because of the ads.

It's a good version of Spider Solitaire. There is an ad after every game, when you start a new game. It's not that bothersome. Although, there is one ad that loads a black screen and the app stops responding. I have to close it and open it up again. I like the personalization option. Unlike with their regular solitaire, which I could only win 1 out of 10 games, it seems to be made of rounds easy to win.

This is a revision and downgrade from a previous very positive review. Quite suddenly the game ads have moved from 5 seconds or so up to 20-30 seconds, with multiple close pages required. Although this is an excellent version of Spider solitaire, it is becoming increasingly more frustrating to wait out the ads. So I'm voting with my feet and looking elsewhere. Sorry Brainium. I'll check in occasionally to see if you've lifted your game on the ad front.

The classic solitaire game; challenge yourself to complete game faster, keeps score, beat your own score, can change your background either with several images provided, or you can change the background to a favorite image from your phone! Contains ads but they are short, if you do not wish to watch it after a few seconds you can close the ad and continue playing. Not graphics heavy, customizable. Great for passing the time, complete at your own pace. Great for all ages.

Not a mandy-pandy game. Easy, then difficulty, then learn all over again. Intriguing, and requires plenty of patience. I don't care about timing or playing against others, it's just relaxing to just keep trying to better your own attempts. I don't really focus, but watch tv while I play, its great for that. If a person wanted to drill down and focus, you very well could. Runs well, and functions as its supposed to without glitches. Thank you.

I LOVED this game... Until the update. 1.) I can't change the appearance of the face of the card, the people on the cards are distracting to me and I preferred just seeing what suit it was 2.) and now, it's smack in the middle of the screen which means as the rows get longer it cuts off the cards on the bottom. Please fix this, or I'll have to uninstall my favorite, relaxing game.

I originally thought this was solitaire [was in a rush getting onto an airplane]; I love the fact that the rules were included in the app. It's definitely fun and allows for some nice customization. I managed to spend about 5 hours playing this game without even noticing! Edit: I had missed out on the fact that I could purchase the game! The free version is wonderful and if you find yourself playing more often, it's definitely worth the $2.99!

Shame to lose a good game. I've played this game for a long time. Nice little game with easy controls and a fair to middling shot at winning. However, the ads have just become too intrusive and disruptive to game play. I don't mind an ad here or there, but every time a new hand is dealt is ridiculous. Sorry, but I'm going to uninstall and try to find something else, hopefully not as bad. Sorry guys. Really wanted to give this a 5.

At one time this was a 5 star app but things changed for the worse. I've been using this app for over 2 years with the portrait format. Now it will only operate in the landscape format with a lot of problems. I like the portrait option much better than the landscape format. Please allow me to use the portrait format and be able to check hints and undos again. Hints and undos can no longer be used in the portrait format.
