Spirit Airlines

I've been charged for extra expenses due to technical issues on the app. No in app customer service. Also app does not remember my flights, I have to search the flight confirmation number every time I open the app, which is incredibly frustrating during boarding. It's too bad because other than the irreversible charges for nothing, lack of access to customer service and app issues, my experience with the airline had been better than expected.

Delayed flights are a disaster. All the way from notifications to apps everything is affected by delayed flights. For example hotel voucher came well before notice that I'd miss connection flight. Then in the airport app crashes when I try to view flight details. If everything works, and no delays then it's good. If one thing goes wrong literally everything goes wrong.

This app is convenient to use when it works as it's intended to do, however, it doesn't always work well. My biggest issue with using the app is when you are trying to pull up your trip. When I am signed into the account, my flights don't always pull up when I click "my trip". I would guess it works 20% of the time. This can be very frustrating when you're trying to pull up your boarding pass. You can always take a screenshot and that works fine when it loads but this is a review about the app.

app needs a ton of work. consistency is non-existent. couldn't check-in because it requires an address. entered the address for all travelers and it cleared it out everytime. it's no wonder they are being bought out. hope they can turn this company around. will always avoid spirit going forward unless forced to fly it again.

My experience booking my flight yesterday on Spirit was horrible. I have stayed away from using this airline for over a decade. I decided to give them a shot because they now offered the big seats with more leg room. This airline charges you more for a ticket when your making a reservation for more that one person. The pricing increases frequently as your making a reservation. I couldn't pay for the club membership through the app, getting constant error messages. I had to call reservation.

One of the worst airlines I've ever had to suffer through. Pressure you to check in online or be forced to pay 10 dollars to check in at the airport, but then their online check in doesn't work. This app just locks me into permanent loading. If I could give 0 stars I would. Garbage app. Garbage airline. Book with someone else and save yourself the frustration.

I have Flown through Sprit and never had an issue. I was able to download the app with no problem and pull up our boarding pass with no problem. It was easy. All the flight attendance and pilots were awesome!! Keep up the good work. It's not easy doing customer service

The app is not good for booking things they don't show all available flights and it's missing a lot of features that are online like the flight insurance or pay over time option for example but for keeping up with the flight you already have booked it is helpful, it also has alot of glitches , slow loading ect.

Absolutely terrible. Spirit cancelled my flight and said it was cancelled via the app. I never cancelled my flight. Now I have to rebook at twice the cost. No help at all from customer service. Worst experience ever and I haven't even flown yet. Find another airline

Honestly the 2hr flight I take is usually smooth and easy,so for me the cost is low and great for shuttling from within a 3 hr radius range ,ie:Florida beyond that I think the seats are to stiff with no adjustment ,it can get uncomfortable but for the cost it's ok.

Anytime you try and upload a pic it freezes and kicks you out. Then you can no longer access your account. You have to uninstall and reinstall. So annoying! Thank you for responding.

Can't check in, and there's an add on the website you can't exit that blocks you from everything. One of the worst experiences of functionality in a long time. Additional edit, was never sent my boarding pass via email, cant get to reprint, and will probably be charged $10 to check in on site

I have had no issues with this app. I am not sure why so many people have had such problems. I do know on my pc I have much better views & can see all options. Yes there have been a few crashes when updates are done, other airlines experience the same. My suggestion to avoid chaos about sitting together w/other travelers is that Spirit change their format. All passengers should choose & buy seats at time of purchase. This will avoid flight attendants from having to accomodate & avoid delays. :)

I love EVERYTHING about Spirit travel except for the inconvenient last minute cancels! Because I'm usually connecting to another flight- those interruptions become expensive! Otherwise my experiences have been great!!

Never flying with you guys again as long as I live... horrible terminal information and management. No explanation of delays til the last possible second. Once landed it took over 40 minutes to get to a gate to deboard. No other airline has ever taken that long in my flying experiences ever. Just because your low cost doesn't mean you slack on basic customer service. Never again.

Misleading app where you can't even get a detailed transaction statement of add ons that you are tricked into thinking you have to purchase. This trip I was trying something new but I've found that I was better off flying Southwest Airlines which I've always done in the past.

Not good. So far I have 1 trip booked with Spirit and I can't view my itinerary on the app. I tried looking it up with the confirmation number and our last name and all it does is spin. After 10 minutes I just shut it off. It also says my login is invalid. I'm very frustrated!!

Terrible problem scheduling seating, additional problem charging for baggage(checked or carry-on). Emails say one thing ticket counter says otherwise.(left hand, right hand situation neither knows what other is doing! FRUSTRATING, it must be in app, one person can't make all mistakes we've encountered. I could go on for paragraphs. Booked online using confirmation number, had downloaded tickets, hour later to use at Gate, recieved this message! "Oops, sorry, something went wrong, now start over?

I've downloaded the app and even registered an account once, recently before. It keeps kicking me out. Or says that my UN/PW is wrong. I've tried doing a PW reset, but said my account doesn't exist. So I tried registering again, but when I completed the process, it throws me out. So I lastly tried to look up my flight via my last name and confirmation number, but it it keeps 'thinking' and gets no where. Am I missing something? I even email mobile support & got a undeliverable kickback message.

Forget the app and use the website. The latest app version, v2.6.1(-900), has significant issues. Nice graphics, but the app actually has to work. It fails to even lookup an existing reservation. App support here in the Play store appears to be a boiler-plate bot.

Tried pulling up my trip but it searches forever with no results. I tried checking my flight, app crashed every time. Cleared data, cache, deleted app and reloaded, nothing made it work. Completely useless at this time.

I'm trying NOT to use the this app, I'm experienced to many issues paying by credit card, always a problem No matter if I change two or three time the cardit card payment and in top of that it wouldn't let you cancel or modify the item you are buying.

Flaky when needed. It has died on me twice already, on both flights I've made, that i have to scramble to log in into the page to get my boarding pass because the app can not find my trip information when they keep updating the flight info.

Your app drops, freezes ... spins endlessly. Plus I don't understand why I have keep uploading a new version every month. Perhaps get it right the first time for a better customer experience!!

My flight keeps disappearing from the app! I booked the flight and added it to the app. It has shown for over a month. Now that my flight is tomorrow, it is gone. I constantly get an Oops Try Again error when trying to view my flight to check in! This is my 1st Spirit flight and will possibly be my last.

This was only my first flight with Spirit. It boarded, took off, and landed on time. Passengers behaved, thank goodness. The crew was highly professional and very personable. The plane was very clean, including the restroom. Deplaning was calm and orderly. I hope that my return trip, and future trips, are exactly like this one!

This app is terrible. I just downloaded it because I have a trip coming up. Apparently I have a account already set up but I don't know the password I used. I have tried to reset the password now 5 times and the website keeps saying that an error has occurred.

This app is very unstable. It is always slow to load, and sometimes it won't load at all. It's not uncommon for it to freeze after you have started to use it, which is very problematic when you are at the gate attempting to recall your boarding pass. You simply can't trust it. Booking reservations is also frustrating. You can't enter promo codes, and it often doesn't offer the same fares (or even all the same flights) as the full web site - which is also notoriously unreliable.
