Spiro. Little Big Tools

I love this little app and how much the developers seem to care about it, too, given the review replies. My only issue is that there isn't a way to save certain preferences, like background color - I try to keep all of my apps in night mode or as dark as possible due to chronic migraines, and while it's easy to change the background back to black, opening it to so much bright white each time is tough. That's a very "me" issue, though!

Love everything about it other than the watermark it puts on all your pictures. Wish there was a way to toggle it on or off, or if it was just small and unobtrusive. The pictures make very good wallpapers, but the watermark really throws them off aesthetically. Other than that, the app works very well and is easy to use. Very therapeutic!

Love this app, I've found myself unconsciously making things and exploring them at my own leisurely pace. I love the mechanics, the simple colors, everything is so in-your-face, responsive, and user friendly. The one thing that bothers me is that when I save the designs, the app developers leave their watermark. I immediately tried looking for a purchase option because I do truly enjoy this app, and didn't want the watermark--but I assumed that the developers did this to ensure that there are no ads for free users, or something like that. Also when I attempted to put one of the designs as my wallpaper--it was cropped, and defeated the purpose of making a full design because the quality made a fall by quite a bit. I would very much like the option of not having the watermark, and having the option of a fullscreen wallpaper--even if in-purchase is necessary. Also on a few side-notes, an option for quality/sharpness would be neat too--to overcome the dreaded crop, as well as the ability to save your projects. Overall one of the most fun & entertaining apps I've ever used creatively. Amazing work you guys.

The function of this program is fantastic, and I can't find anything else that can do patterning the way this app can. Would love to rate it higher, but the only way to cleanly save your works is to take a screenshot. The forced watermark ruins the saved image otherwise Which is not to say the dev/s shouldn't receive credit for this work, because there are too few apps of this kind as is

I've been using this app on and off. I like the simplicity but it needs a lot of improvement. UI looks awkward. Can't zoom in/out the canvas. No fill tool. No pen types. Can't save as project to continue/edit later. Watermark is so big and obvious it ruins the design etc... Please update the app. EDIT: Ty for responding. Please don't give up on this app. I'll be waiting!

I am loving this app, although I wish it was possible to export the patterns to other drawing apps and softwares, without the spiro logo, so I could use them in other works. also, it would be absolutely awesome if one could create patterns bigger than just the screen's size! it's just so easy to doodle on this app that it would make an awesome tool to create the base for bigger patterns. Plus, I would change the number of guides that appear on screen together with the symmetry settings.

excellent little app for doodling patterns. while not an extensive amount of functionality (simplistic 'dot' brush, doesnt save settings, and no 'zoom' feature), the color blending/gradient is a nice touch, as is the pattern matrix grid. Also, doesnt ask for too many extraneous permissions, so that's good!

This is the best drawing app I've tried. Very addictive and easy to control. You can introduce colour or use black and white to produce your own colouring sheets. I love the fact you can produce full sheet artworks as well as individual mandalas. Also allows you to produce your own wallpapers and screensavers. No awful pop up adverts like many other apps I've tried, fully worth the 5 stars. One thing I'd appreciate is other shape grids for the full page drawings such as a square grid if possible

Amazing app you can make many patterns and it's nice but i wish you could zoom in so that t You could get detailed. Maybe not zoom out all the way to make bigger patterns but at least to zoom in and the way we choose the color is wierd and confusing could you make it like a color wheel or something easier and something nice would be to export without background so i could use it in artwork and photos and a fill tool to color my mandalas etc...thanks still nice app though keep up the good work!!

This app is very nice! Before when I wasnt into digital art, I used to play around with this, trying to make different designs. Now that I do digital art, I use this often for my backgrounds. All I am asking for is that you guys add more patterns, other than that, no more problems. This helped me a lot! Thanks, Ninvus Apps!

A simple and effective app for pattern production with radial or mirror symmetry, as a single motif or continuous tiling. Easy to specify pen width and colour with ability to use 2 colours, one merging into the other and to control rate of merge. Can also choose background colour. Good for the odd relaxing five minutes or for something more serious like making Alhambra spinning star patterns. Savable and sharable.

Very simple and easy to use. Please consider adding the below features in your next update. 1. Redo option 2. Currently there is only 1 brush. Try to include more. 3. An option to blend more than 2 colors. 4. To be able to save the custom colors created. 5. Watermark removal option.

Great app. Wish there was a version that had an option for saving the image without the logo. Also a zoom option would be great for tiny details. I use this app to create seamless textures and that would help a lot. I'd pay for those options

I am in love with this idea and have spent many hours today creating images! However, it seems like I can only save 4 at a time? Very sad about that, but maybe it's just a bug... Would love to be able to save more images and would also pay for no watermark. :) Thanks for the fun!

Using this app I can create very detailed or very simplistic designs in black and white to color at a later date. It would be even more perfect if it had a much needed re-do button and a way to save the colors I've created.

Its just what I wanted.....really cool no ads unlike other apps....I love this app a lot..but I also recommend spiro to put in more features because there is only one brush u can use...and also for the colour change thing I recommend spiro to add a feature which can blend as many colours u want also add more brushes...but other than that it's an amazing app

I love relaxing and creating with this little app. There is such a variety of tools and options! The only thing I really wish it had was a zoom function. It would make creating more detailed art easier.

Very good app with great features. I especially like the smoothening option. I hope you can a paint bucket feature too. So we could color closed shapes with one tap, instead of coloring manually. That would be great.

Easy-to-use drawing app. You can change colors and pencil thickness. It's very fun to doodle around with while staying at-home. There are 6 mirrored layer sections by default so when you start to scribble around, some amazing patterns are created. Thanks for the great app guys! 5/5

good app but could use some things. itd be nice if it had a full color panel option with more selections, it also wont save the image to my phone for some reason and wont let me set it as a wallpaper through the app either.

This app is absolutely amazing!!!! The controls are great. I would love if you could add a feature in which you can choose your colour from a colour wheel! Overall this app is really good and is a great time waster!

I HAVE to keep a time piece near with this app,or I may miss important engagements! This is the first app I find myself delving into and losing time! Which is a great thing! Too often I think we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life. It's awesome to forget about all that even for a little while. With "pattern" and "symmetric drawing" setting on, sometimes the pattern doesn't draw correctly. I can't explain it, but it just scribbles randomly.....then it'll just work fine after that. Confused..

Wonderful app needs updating and landscape mode for tablets. I will raise my rating if an update fixes problems: watermarking, landscape mode, etc. I hope updates come soon since this app has been out for a few years already.

I don't generally do reviews, but I have to comment on this one. I downloaded it yesterday evening because i was looking for something a bit different. I am completely besotted with it. I need to get myself a stylus ... Then if anyone needs me i will be drawing in my blanket Den. Thank you for this !!

i wish that can save the projects for next times updates , but when the app close unwanted there is nothing tu continue that project and it's so annoying thing . please add this option to save several projects to continue drawing on that projects in other days and "*" ADD REDO BUTTON "*" thank you for attention to me 👍🏻🙂😀

great app! My only suggestion is that you add the ability to open your drawings back up. I can save, but not open.
