There needs to be a record function for this app and a setting tab where you can set up certain parameters for this app like setting a goal for the desired SPL number that you wanna achieve.
I liked it but don't use it a lot i would like a refund
Really good , and app can be moved to external SD memory
The font needs to be larger on the frequency of numbers.
This gives me a good idea of what my system is pushing out at our gigs. Not super accurate with out proper calibration but worth the money.
Not as feature filled as its big brother, but easily capable enough for amateurs like me.
Doesn't work on the Razr... Just displays a white noise kinda wave. Input didn't seem to affect it
Awesome!! Very accurate and useful! Used it to tune the room in a $100k home theater yesterday. Great app.
Samsung Galaxy 10.1 2014 Edition. Purchased to use for ringing out my PA system. Doesn't appear to indicate any frequency above 2k using the internal microphone.
Handy for ringing out a room before a gig or for finding which frequency to hit when feedback occurs.
This is a very nifty app, except it doesn't work. Comparing it against a pure tone of 440 Hz, it reads 420 Hz as the peak. It's consistently about 20 Hz too low. If the frequency were correct, it'd be a great app. Until that's fixed, stay away.
Pro-audio guy here and I can not wait to put this awesome app to work, just as it is. But, I'd love to see a 20 to 20k 44.1 vers for my Asus T91(XP).
Doesn't read above 10kHz, 92-93 dB. Desire. Bummer
App should keep screen on
Did not measure accurately on epic 4g... I could not get it to register anything more than a ten db change, no matter what I calibrated it to.
Finally got my dB meter put to calibrate and found this dB meter doesn't move after calibration... terrible app. -EVO
Good update. Works good on Eris with OS 2.1
Thanks for the rotate fix! Epic response time.
Works ok...but only goes to 109db -which isnt that loud
Slow graphics on samsung Epic (2.1). Totally sucked. Uninstalling.
Works well on Desire 2.1 but phone's mic seems to peak out at 80dB. Still very useful for picking exact frequency of feedback squeals in live shows.
Cool. Allowed me to adjust peaks with my sub equalizer.
Works well but locks up my Nexus One upon exit, requiring battery removal to regain control.
Dint work on my lg gw620 android 1.5. Just kept asking to stop other application using audio, but none were.
Paid. Wish it worked. Locks up my droid every time I use it. Requires battery out reset every time.
Nice app to use as SPL meter. Would be great if it included a MIC boost function for DROID 2.2 hands-free use.
I like it... but upon close slows my phone to a crawl, have to restart, it's not releasing processor resources
I've had this app for quite a while...worked great until recently the decibel readings suddenly jump up about 10db after a short period of use. I don't usually pay attention to the number, but my graph readings shoot off the charts as well, so it really hinders the usefulness of the app.
