It does not measure true peak. Why won't the folks who make these types of apps create a app that measures LUFS level unit full scale? That would be a great thing to offer.
Not up to date. "Built for an older version of Android". Numbers totally wrong out of the gate, says 90dB from A/C noise and normal 'inside voice' conversation when other apps more accurately start at around 62dB before calibration. Interface is also kind of old-looking and sluggish.
NOT accurate! I tested a few different SPL meter apps compared to a proper spl meter and this app was the most innacute out of the ones I tested. the proper meter was reading 95db and this app was reading 105. thats a big difference! also lots of ads in the app.
Has c weighting, has calibration, easy to use. Cheers!
Altho i got different readings with different phones, i'd blame microphones and skip to the point: it does the job, it looks nice and it has no commercial stuff in it.
Simply brilliant, but does depend on hardware capability. Would be better if you could remove ads though.
No where near what an ACTUAL SPL meter (Term Lab, which is used by NASA) reads. That fact that it uses your tiny microphone in your phone to take measurements SHOULD tell you that this app is painfully inaccurate. Look up your hardware specs and you'll quickly realize how limited your microphone on your phone REALLY is.
Simple and functional. Of course you have to calibrate it in order to get repeatability, as any known SPL Meter. Quite handy
As a ex professional in the audio business I've found this app is great , once calibrated it proved to be a very usefull tool.
Completely useless on devices that have a limiter on the microphone as is the case on most smartphones.
Hi. This program is excellent and very professional. But there is no response option in it. Please add this item. Thanks to the creator of this useful program.
Calibration is not good. Also need a paid fee to remove ads and have only the SPL display.
Very inaccurate. At a known Db reading at 55 from another meter this app was reading over 80 Db
Useless 80 db right out of the gate. Having to calibate the app defeats the purpose of downloading it.
Reads 20db higher than other apps. Not realistic at all.
Very accurate after calibration. My spl meter Huawei p10.
Total Garbage. Read a whole 20db higher than other apps.
great features but the needle doesn't move..
Very inaccurate compared to real meters Edit: typo
Not accurate even after calibration
About the best, it has real calibration.
Has intrusive ads.
Downloaded 5 free apps and this one is the best
Not bad, got me in the ball park.
Very nice read correctly
Good app love all your apps
One of the greatest apps ever.
Measures frequency, which others don't
Not working really. It says 90dB in my bedroom
Useful enough. Ads are not intrusive, and it seems to be pretty consistent
